Comment: Thanks for your card with celtic costumes, very interesting to see :) I liked the postal stamp too!
PS. Next time please add also the name of the swap. It took me a while to figure out which swap this card was for :)
Comment: Thank you for your kind comments about several of my blog posts. It was interesting reading that you donate your glasses to Malawi so people there can use them. The Lions Clubs collect glasses that people no longer wear and refurbish them so they can be given to people who cannot afford them. I've often wondered where they go. Our club alone collected over 1,000 glasses last year. That's a lot of people who will be able to see better during the upcoming year!
Response: Thanks a lot for your rating and hearth.
Comment: Merci beaucoup Isabelle! I wish I could speak French, had 2 years of it in school, but that was so long ago, I'm lucky I can still remember how to count to 10 and say boulangerie. Joyeaux Noel!!
Comment: Wow!! You outdid yourself on this envelope!! It was so wonderful looking through all the goodies you sent to me. I thought the shells from France were extra special :D I will make use of all the items you gave to me. Many thanks to you!
Comment: Thanks for the cool postcard, and yes, I do love the stamp! Those are my favorite kind! They are like little works of art. What a beautiful place to visit! Someday I will visit France and now I will have to see Port Navalo!
Comment: I love the ocean and would also love to learn to sail, I am envious 😀. I love the house but wouldn't want the maintenance that would go aling with it 😀😀, would take away sailing time.
Have a great holiday.
Comment: Thanks for the seagull card. I hope you get to the ocean often. My favorite place in France is the coasts of Brittany and Normandy. It's not as sexy as the south, but it just makes me so happy.
Comment: Thank you...that is a pretty good looking lighthouse-keeper's building. I live close to a big lake and there are many lighthouses along the coast. So many artists can be seen down the road painting or photographing the local lighthouse.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. What a lovely house - I live in a house that looks very close to this, but it's yellow/goldenish stones and my doors and windows are plain stripped wood. I wish I could keep a garden with flowers like in the pic but we don't have space for a garden.
Thank you :)
Comment: Thank you so much for telling me about France and your town, I would like to visit Disneyland one day, and also Paris :) thank you for sending the rest of the swap as well, and so quickly! I really liked the Paris postcards and other small items you sent, merci!

Comment: Hi Isabelle, I was so excited to get your package today from France...Thank you in advance, I'm going to tuck it into my stocking, its so so kind and generous of you to include a surprise for Lucie(she is thrilled!) she has a stocking stash of her own:) I love the purple deer and will hang him on my tree...he's lovely :) Have a Merry Christmas and lovely crazy fantastical swapping in the new year!

Comment: Isabelle, I was glad to get your letter. Every thing (the answers) was new. I appreciated the photos, especially that of the castle. But my all-time favorite was finding out about "Les Editeurs", the book publisher restaurant… Wow! What I love to go there :-) I love the postcards and stickers. Thanks so much for the entire package.
Response: I am glad if you appreciated my package. Thanks for rating and the heart
Comment: Hi from Czech republic!:) Thank you so much for nice card!!:) I must say that it is really hard to get some card from France... I haven´t met more swappers yet...;) So I´m really happy that I receive this nice card ;) L.

Response: I read you like foreign coins. So i joined in the envelope one from my country. But it is her forbidden to send money by mail. I think that's why you found it out of the envelope. Thanks for the heart. Merry Christmas
Comment: I love the bags! I know my daughter is going to take the Paris one as she visited there last year and really enjoyed it. The purple flowers are delightful. I will have carrying it at my local market.
Comment: Thanks for the stuff.
A requirement of the swap was to pack the things individually. It did not bother me that you've probably forgotten that, but please make sure next time otherwise you'll maybe rated with a "3".
Response: Oh! i am sorry: i have forgotten. I had a lot of thngs to do for my job this time and was a bit tired. Thank you so much for the 5 rating!
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful Eiffel postcard! And I think you were so lucky because you could see it from your kitchen. Why did you move from that house? :D I've been in France but not in paris. I want to visit there so much! :)
And thank you for joining my swap :)
Response: I moved because i prefered a quit life for my daughter. I live in the suburb, in a large house with garden and silence around us! But i work in Paris !!

Comment: Thank you so much for taking the time to cross stitch this beautiful card for me, Isabelle. i shall frame it and put it up every Christmas from now on. Probably keep it up during the year too somewhere.
Comment: Hiii. I like the postcard! And also the stamp too! Now its raining season here in Malaysia. It is hard to do laundry and everyday it is more and a lot of dirty clothes to wash. Hope there will be sunny day during weekend. ;o) i like moulin rouge..christina is singing and dancing near my ear..hehe. Thanks!
Comment: Thanks for the awesome postcard :D You are sooo lucky to work at Disneyland, I have never even been in any of their parcs before.
I have been to Paris twice tho, but never long enough to go also to Disneyland. Thanks again :)
Response: Thanks for the heart. But i work in Paris, live just near Disneyland, and Disneyland is my train station: i take the train every day beetxeen Disneyland and Paris for my job. My english langage is not very good it's probably why you didn't understand ;). Have a nice day
Comment: I am so sorry to rate so late, I have been violently ill and have just had the energy while it lasts to do the right thing by my partners. Thank you for your beautiful pc of the puffin bird, I think they are a beautiful bird to behold. You made my day when I saw it.
Comment: Hello Isabelle! I love your Stoned card! It has everything I love, rocks, sea and flowers and the little bit of whimsey that I can see in the rocks. It's a beautiful scene! Thank you for the visit to such a beautiful place!
Response: you are welcome and thanks for the heart
Comment: Thanks for the ATC, When you do an ATC you need to make them so that they will fit into a card sleeve, so no 3d things also they can get broken, on the back you need to write the theme, date, and who you are. This one was a good start and well done.
Comment: Hi Isabelle, what you've sent me is amazing. I don't know how you do that, but the whole envelope is just a lovely gift. (The stamps are so beautiful, too!) Not to mention the card you made.... awwww, it's really a fancy christmas blessing for me. Also love the decor you put in. In all, thank you so much for all the effort and wishes. I feel blessed when received it.
Response: I am happy to read your comment ! Christmas is now over and i wish you all the best for 2012!
Comment: What an interesting card of the policewoman running on horseback! Good idea for them to have so many ways to get around in the crowds. I really liked this unique topic - thank you so much!! :)
Comment: Thank you so much for letting me know what you know about my country. Most of them are correct : ) Unfortunately, tea ceremonies arent held so often everywhere. Nowadays, traditional customs like tea ceremonies and ikebana, which is Japanese flower arrangement havent been known to young people including me, which is pity. I wish I had enough time and money to learn them, I heard it takes much money to learn them... You know about us very well . I really liked your wide and beautiful postcard with the bicycle and house on it. Thank you !
Response: I needed a wide poscard to write all what i wanted! You'll be surprised: i learned Ikebana, because one of my hobbies is flowers arrangements ! And thank you for the heart
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard - I love the local character, the ocean and the hat. Is the hat made from local lace? Is she showing off her handiwork? Great stickers too.
Response: It is a typicla hat with local lace. We can sometimes see old women with it. But it is rare and only in ceremonies. If you want somme derails you ca search with google with the words " coiffe bigoudène "
Comment: Those are beautiful purple pansies. I always liked pansies. They have a fairy in them. Not sure if you knew that, but if you take the petals off and hold the flower stem so that the part that is in the middle of the flowers points up it looks like there's a little girl fairy in it. :)
Response: i didn't know, but when i was a litllte girl i did dolls with poppies flowers.
Comment: Love your postcard from Egypt! Thank you so much! It is great that we keep meeting via our postcard exchanges. Love the judo stamp that you used to mail the card, too! Take care, until we swap again ~
Comment: Dear friend Isabelle, thanks a lot for sending me so beautiful postcard and STAMPS! You were so careful! What a place to spend holidays! I am so interested about living near the ocean someday! I hope I could be there!
Response: Tnhanks a lot for giving the heart; I try to choose with the profile, and I am happy to please my swap partner.
