Comment: Your ATC didn't have a sturdy backing which was a required part of the swap. Also your ATC was made on very thin card stock. If you resend me another one, then I will change your rating.
Thank you for resending. I love your new atc. It has a sturdy background and the picture is nicely colored. I will upgrade your rating even though it was due the beginning of November.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely twinchies. I realized when doing this swap that even with all the coloring books I have collected so far this was the first I had colored. I'm good at collecting things.
Response: me too..an it seems everytime I go out I buy another coloring book..i think I'm addicted.hugs
Comment: Hello neighbor, I absolutely loved your hand drawn whale postcard. First hand drawn postcard I've ever received. You need to come down and see our blue whale on route 66 here in Catoosa just around the corner from the Hard Rock Casino.
Comment: Hi, Marlena -- I live in Spokane, and I put your adorable magnet on a metal light post in the middle of downtown with a note that said, "Made by an artist -- take me home!" I kind of had to stop myself from accidentally putting it on my refrigerator...hehe...
Comment: Thank you for the note and the items. I will definitely have to make a present for my kindred spirit out of the charm. I enjoyed reading about your experience with the craft, as I am a solitary practitioner as well. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: thank you for that sample of summer reads & recommendations! seems like you were able to combine those kids, doctor
appointments & books quite well this summer ... do stay healthy & just as busy this autumn checking out those great
authors & dramatic stories!
Comment: Hello Marlena,
Thank you for the Libra ATC you made for me for this swap. Your Libra card had lots of good information about Libra. I will use your guidance to help build my ATC. This will be a nice start to my Horoscope Series.
Comment: Hello fellow Arkansan! Thank you so much for the book sentence by Alice Hoffman. I'm reading one of her books right now for my book club, The Museum of Extraordinary Things! Love the post card! Made me giggle!
Comment: Thank you for the art. I will put it out on Friday afternoon when I go to downtown McKinney to visit some local shops. They have a nice little courtyard with a fountain & I bench so I will leave it there. Thanks again!!
Comment: Hi Marlene,
I put your art work in our park on Friday as there is a rib fest going on there. I will send you a pic in your email. - Well just tried and I can't figure out to upload it so ifyou want - I can do regular email and uploads easy.
Response: I had the same problem.sure just send it by regular email
Comment: Thanks Marlena for having another go at the Tangles Z ATC. The second one is marginally better than the first. I could copy this one in 4 minutes as against 3 minutes for your original. I am only giving you a 5 because you have had a second go. If that is really your best work, perhaps you could rethink participating in Zentangle swaps.
Thanks for the flower stamps and the note paper is very pretty - it will end up in my journal.
Response: Sorry you didn't like it.first time I've ever had a response like this.everyone else seemed pleased.
Comment: Now I know what Branson looks like. Thank you.
Response: Your welcome..but the post card must of been taken a long time ago...so much more their now.we went last weekend..it had been 22 years since I had been there.very hard to figure out what to do first
Comment: Murphy's Law, Marlena. I just received your envie today. Thanks so much for everything! A question though. There was a Friendship book ("for and by Catherine Mulrooney") in the envelope. Was this supposed to be in there?
Response: I threw it in as an extra.if udont do fb's just pass it on or send it back.sorry for the inconvenience
Comment: I received your card today and thank you for sending so early, what a nice surprise! I loved the card and I liked the "fler-de-lis." Thanks for the sweet note, I hope to go myself someday it sounds fun.
Comment: Thank you for your postcard! Unfortunately I need to leave you a 3 rating, because you marked the swap sent Dec 14th (the deadline), but it has a metered postage from Dec 16th which proves it was sent then. Had you contacted me about sending late before the deadline passed (there was no communication from you at all at any point) I wouldn't have had to leave this rating. I hope you understand. Edit: January 8th. I know the blue boxes, I mostly drop my mail in to those too -- BUT in this case the card was sent with metered postage (those they print out at the post office desk, white labels saying the price of the postage and the date it was printed) and not with a real stamp - so it was taken to the post office on Dec 16th instead of dropping it in a post box on 14th (to do that it needs a real stamp).
Response: My fiancee is the one that takes things to the mail for me as I am house bound and cannot get out. That was the day the inside post office was closed due to the ice storm..all that was open was the blue mailboxes where it sits till postmen pick it up.
Comment: Thanks for sharing such a personal story with me. It sounds like you have been through a lot. Sometimes we think things are too good to be true because we secretly feel like we don't deserve to be happy. But DO NOT doubt it for a moment! You DO deserve to be happy! Good luck on your upcoming wedding!!! :)
Comment: Thanks for the cute card Marlena. Please try and remember to list the swap name somewhere in or on the card ok? You don't want to lose out on ratings because it's hard for us to find you. ;-) At any rate, welcome to Swap-Bot Sweetie and hope we can trade again sometime.
Response: im sorry im so very new too this ...ill remember from now on to add that detail
