Comment: Thank you for post card showing the iron house . I found it fascinating that they shipped it from Glasgow to Australia! I suppose the nearest thing we have now are either 'prefabs' most of which have been demolished. They were put up to rehouse those made homeless during the blitz. The other likely contenders are 'The Huts' Some people from Glasgow and other cities in Scotland built themselves tin huts like this in the country side outside the city as holiday homes ( minus mod cons) These people were known as ' the hutters'
Comment: How nice to hear from you. I love this postcard. It looks just like my kitty who sits at the kitchen window watching the snow fall which it seems to be doing all too often these days. This is my Finnish Day. I just learned Hyvaa Joulua (Merry Christmas without the accents on the a's.) Many Thanks Yvonne and Jeana.
Comment: Thank you for the happy mail Yvonne & Jeana! ❤❤❤ The envelope is full of lovely stamps 😍 and I really like the cute panda stickers. Hope both of you will have a wonderful Christmas and great new year too 😊
Comment: SANTA!!!! I know him!! haha :) he's my neighbor!! haha!! That would be strange to me not to have snow for Christmas day...course that's all I know...
Thank you for the great card! Happy Swapping!
Comment: Thank you so much for this awesome swap. I love the envelope and all the incredible stamps. The 1998 Nativity series is really special to me because that was my daughter's first Christmas. She doesn't remember anything about it because she was just over two months old, but I remember it very fondly. I love all the goodies you sent me, too. Everything is great! : )
Comment: Hi dear Ivonne & Jeana, this was such a nice and special swap, you both made my day with it! I loved the round vintage stickers, the washis, the die cuts (so cute!) and everything else you girls picked out for me. And I completely understand how weird it is to celebrate Halloween in the spring, and having a summer Christmas lol, but I absolutely love it and also love it when others can get what it really means hehe. Have a happy week and a great rest of the year!
Comment: Great card. I had to check out swooping magpies! I can't imagine; although, there is one type bird that likes to dive bomb the cat in the spring, but its much smaller. Thank you so much. I loved the card and the info.
Comment: I wish I could give you 10 hearts, I loved everything you sent me, I didn't have any dog washi so love that, the little cat charms are awesome, the stamp inside and on the envelope are going in my junk journal, they are wonderful, thank you so much :)
Comment: Hi Yvonne & Jeana!
Your cute cow postcard has arrived to Ohio! Thanks so much, I so love farm animals. Glad you are enjoying your spring. It snowed lightly here yesterday morning! The beautiful fall leaves are falling fast ~ We are in the 30's F. during the day and down to low 20's F. during the night! But it could and will be worse, lol Thanks again for the awesome postcard ~ take care Judy
Comment: Thanks for the lovely Matisse art postcard of a man playing his violin and a big thanks for once again choosing from my preferences. How lovely. I wish we could get music-themed postcards here. I also love the Snugglepot and Cuddlepie stamp.
Comment: What a really neat card! Love it! found the tents easy and ohh yeah to be able to hear the story of what the card is about would be fantastic or to be able to just zap there to the time and place to be in the hustle and bustle of it ....thank you very much and thanks for joining the swap! :)
Comment: ahhh, I love receiving swaps from you, they are always so cool, like this one... Perfect, every inch of it. The phenomen of suburbs is sometimes quite strange for me, it isn't that much a thing in Hungary - although we have suburbs for sure, but not those depressing, neverending ones
Comment: Wow thank you so much for the Pears Annual card. Yeah winter is coming in big steps here. I just say I don't leave the house without a hat anymore. By the way I also enjoyed the smashing stamp collection! And now have a wonderful day.
Comment: Thanks Yvonne & Jeanna, for sending a classic illustration :) You know, I first read Alice in Wonderland in Bengali translation. (It was an AWESOME translation!) The "Dormouse" was called "gechho-indoor" meaning "tree-dwelling mouse", but I forever read it as "gochhaai -indoor" ... which wouldn't really mean anything, but CAN mean "I tidy-mouse" by a stretch ! :D :D
Comment: Hello again, Thanks for the great Masters Apprentices postcard. We have been to quite a few of the re-formed group's shows in the last few years and enjoy them, especially singing this famous Turn up your Radio song. Plan to see them again in November, a bunch of really nice, friendly people. Today is a beautiful spring day here in Adelaide, too! :)
Comment: How can I thank you for this amazing piece of snailmail? Oh, the envelope and butterfly stamps with first issue stamps...love it! The girls were so happy with their presents, so sweet! And the Alice card is just great also. Thanks so much!!! Best wishes!
Comment: Sounds like it was a beautiful day! Ohhh and a cherry tree! I bet that is a beauty! All our trees just lost all their leaves and we woke up to a frosty morning...snow is coming soon! Thank you for the wonderful card :)
Comment: LOVELY POSTCARD!!
Thank you so much! German Summer was hot and dry for About 6 weeks and now we are straight back to winter :D Just waiting for the snow HAHA... at least 6 of 52 weeks with sunlight!
Comment: just like for the Science swap, a wonderful, perfect card again! And the stamps!!! They are gooorgeous. I hope we will swap more in the future, you always send real treasures! I wish I could give more than 1 heart
Comment: Got the awesome retro style card :) Love it!! :) Aww thanks I really missed the fun of swapping this summer. Glad to be back :) Was such a fun summer with little trips instead of the one big one across the states as we normally do. Stayed in Alaska and traveled around :) found new places to camp and really neat lodge to stop off for a bit to eat on our travels down to our favorite fishing town. They have a room dedicated to a museum of old Alaska stuff :) Now with cooler temps its time to wind down and get ready for winter months :) Thank you for joining the swap :)
Comment: Wow what a stunning card in my letterbox! Dame Edna looks like fun and a lot to laugh about! I definitly gonna have a look at you tube. All I can say is BIG BIG Thank you!!!! And now have a nice evening.
Comment: Hello Yvonne & Leana, after more than 2 months I received the beautiful postcard you sent me, it was worth the wait because it is the cutest wombat in the world, I adore him, greetings from Chile!
Comment: Thank you! I just love love love all of these cat related (and not related) goodies :) Everything is amazing. You just reminded me why I love swap-bot and really made my day. I appreciate you efforts to create the perfect happy mail for me ;) Have a great week and happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you so much for the adorable echidna postcard and stamp. They are too cute with those little snouts. I would love to visit Australia some day so many amazing animals and beautiful scenery!
Comment: I got the 2nd card today, the 1st one must be out in the ozone somewhere as it never did show up! Thank you for resending! Love the Pooh card and I have to vote for honey. My mom used to bring it home from Greece and it was awesome. I have about 4 ounces left and then it's all gone as she says she is now too old too travel! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the PC. I've seen the aurora once. Driving south from Perth, which is further north than Melbourne. So there is hope for you. Sorry I'm late rating. I've had a busy week moving furniture for a few people. Regards Mark :-)
Comment: LOVED this send. Thank you for the gorgeous bookmark(I think that’s what it is, but I’ll be using it in an art project) I’ve never seen anything like it before, it’s very pretty. I also looovveed the washi tape, never seen those before either-which is very rare for me! So hype! I loved the Koala sticky notes(you really know just what to gift a girl, huh??♥️) and the beautiful pinwheel stickers that look like they came from my favorite creator of stickers lol AND the lovely postcards! You have charmed me for the entire day, I believe! Thank you!
Comment: It’s the middle of summer here. It’s nice and cool in here. I like making it cool enough with the central air that I need a lap blanket. Lol And yes, I LOVE big cats, with jaguars being my favorites!
Comment: Love the Wombat, he's sooo cute! There is a solution, you can just feed one that lives outside so he'll always come to your house for food, and as long as you don't bring him into the house or put him in a pen then he's not a pet and it's not illegal. I had a friend that kept a deer that way... Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely first day of issue postcard! I can't believe the Fringe Lily only lasts a day... what a life to live! I hope you enjoy Springtime and that all is well with you! Take care!
Comment: Wow! What a nice surprise to receive the Masters Apprentices postcard. Thank you so much. Yes, it did bring back memories. I still go and see the re-formed band when they play in Adelaide and remain friends with them and also with Peter Tilbrook. Really nice guys and still sound as good now as they did back in their hey-days. Thanks again, much appreciated. :)
Comment: Well you guys have really outdone yourselves this time. A very artistic transport themed card and transport themed stamps too! Interesting to note that I had a bicycle identical to the one on the stamp as a youngster. Thanks!
Comment: hello again:) I am so lucky to be swapping with u guys again! I really really love the postcard + stamp - marc newson is one of the few designers I like. (I also studied about his designs in school, so yes u guessed it; I do know some little facts about his products.) Thanks again, and best-est regards from Hong Kong!
Comment: I love the story of how DNA was found so I am very aware of the massive contribution made by Rosalind Franklin. Such an amazing scientist! There was a film released in 1986 called ‘Life Story’ (I’m pretty sure that was the title) with Jeff Goldblum as Watson that we watched in biology class a couple times when I was at school. They include the work of Rosalind Franklin (played by Juliet Stevenson) and how it was her discovery x Ray crystallography that led to the discovery of DNA.
Comment: Thank you so much for the maxi card. I just found out about them, and love them. I attend a stamp show once a year here in Ohio, and it was just last month. So, next year I will try to stock up on them. I think they may be more expensive there than on line, but authentic. In the meantime, thanks again.
Comment: Thank you so much for the Holey dollar and dump postcard! The dollar with the hole in it reminds me of the old Spanish coins with a hole in it which I used to collect as a kid when on holidays there :)
Comment: Just got the great caravan card today! Reminds me of the one we had growing up - we would take it to the river for the weekend, was alot of fun :) Will be setting up more swaps like thins when things slow down here - We decided to pull out of the antique store we are in so spare time is spent making room for the inventory. Hoping our 50% off sale sells quite a bit of it haha! Thank you for the awesome card and joining the swap :)
Comment: Hi Yvonne & Jeana , thank you for the Gum Nut Babies PC. It's so cute with the little baby bottoms and there's a Kookaburra bird! I so love the postage stamps you used! Sunshine in my mailbox on a overcast grey day :) peace love light
Comment: Thank you so much girls! Such an amazing envie and oh... those stamps! It was so much fun opening all the presents (a big thank you from Milla and Elena), I want to use it all right away:) Love your sweet note, love it all, a real happy mailday! Best wishes, groetjes Barbara
Comment: Hello! Thank you so much for the great postcard. The story sounds very sweet about the woman and sheep dog. I will have to watch it on youtube! It is one of my favorite postcards I have ever gotten thank you so much!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely things. Love the stars! Here in Belgium we are waiting for summer, the weather still is wet and cold. Can't wait for spring to begin. I also love to make jam, it taste so much better... Yummie! ;)
Comment: Thank you yvonne and Jeana so much for my awesome swap goodies. You thoroughly spoilt me and I appreciate that you read my profile so well. I love ALL the gorgeous goodies.
Hope I land up getting you in a swap again #just saying#:-)
Comment: Hi from O~hi~O! WOW, is the first word I thought & actually said when I opened your wonderful envelope! It is 1:00 am, Feb 28th, here in Ohio, but couldn't wait to rate this marvelous gift!! (I sometimes have my days and nights mixed up). The Australian postage stamps are so beautiful, all of them! So generous of you girls to send all the extras; Aussie kids postcards with stamps and used stamps! Wow again!! Plus the Disney postcards in the lovely little sacks!
Yes I am keeping warm here in the Buckeye, it's been in the 50's F.
Thanks again & take care, Judy
Comment: Hello! This was a wonderful package! First, the envelope and stamps are simply beautiful! I also loved the cards--very pretty. Thank you for sending such a neat parcel to me--I truly appreciate it!
Comment: What a smile I got when I opened your envelope, read your note and opened my 2 little packages....a Squirrel postcard and powdered instant chai tea. I am in heaven. Cant wait to try the tea this weekend :-) Your little piece of home sounds so inviting, with fruit trees. Would love to try some of your apricot jam. Such a pleasure hearing from you. May we meet again in the swap-bot world. Have a great day.
Comment: Great PC. Thank you. I'll have to practice the pronunciation of that town. Being English I just call it Lanfair. I've had welsh friends who ramble it off at breakneck speed, & that convinced me that it was unpronounceable to the common man. :-)
Comment: I am so sorry but i can not rate a heart due to a SB glitch at this time, though I would if I could! All the lovely stamps make me swoon! This is a beautiful entrance fo the Louvre, a place I truly hooe to visit one day!
Comment: Thank you for the great pc!
It's ironic because we just started watching "Outback Truckers" last month...we're on season 3 now.😊
My husband drives gravel train for a living and has always been interested in what it would be like to work in Australia.
"Opping"... I 💖 it!! 😀
Take care! ~ Sonia
Comment: Dear Yvonne & Jeana...
Thank you sooooww very much for the beautiful postcard which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
And also the airmail stickers which I also LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I wish I could give More than 1 heart.
Comment: Thank you so much for the amazinggggg package for happy mail! The underwater and sailor themed sticker sheet was adorable, all of the washi tapes are gorgeous (especially the doggie one!), the postcards are all so unique and beautiful (especially those two otter ones!! How special!), and I cannot wait to try the two chai tea bags! Everything was packaged so perfectly, and even the envelope was super cool! Thank you so much for everything and I can't wait to use it all! Love Sophie
Comment: Such beautiful mail to receive and def filled with
Love at Christmas. Such a unique way that you have made your own envelope. I’m going to use that idea sometime. The extra goodies are just perfect. I’ll use those in a future project for sure. The olde world card is gorgeous too. Thankyou both for everything. â¤ï¸
Comment: All I expected was a postcard with 2 used stamps stuck on it - instead I got a happy parcel bursting of goodness! I really like how a calendar was recycled into the envelope, and the mad stamps outside. 1000 points for that<3
Comment: USA Greetings,
Your Christmas Christmas card & goodies were worth EVERY minute of waiting for it. I absolutely adore the envie. Especially the postage stamps! Nativities is one of my favorite themes.
I cannot thank you enough for your swap.
New Year's blessings to you & yours,
Comment: Hello again Yvonne and Jeana! Thank you for the beautiful Australia illustrated postcard - it's probably one of my new favourites! And the stamps were so special too: butterfly, lovely wren and silver snow daisy. Thank you once again and lovely to hear from you again! From Sophie
Comment: Ah, I love getting maxicards from Australia!! Thank you! And has anyone ever told you your handwriting is so nice?! Thanks for teaching me a bit about Rawdon Middleton, and I am very jealous of your gorgeous weather :) Happy holidays!
Comment: Thank you very very much for the wonderful Happy Mail resend! I LOVE IT all: from the stamps on the envelope to the washi-samples and the postcards <3 And did I forget to mention the paper bunting: it is super! :-D THANKSSSSSS!
Comment: Thank you for the great card. Our Holiday season is going fine. Don't do anything major but do try to see all the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Enjoy your summer. We will be officially winter in 2 days.
Comment: Hi Yvonne and Jeana! I love, love, love your doggie pc and matching stamp on it! I can understand wanting to be a well cared for and loved pup - you are right that is what we all want! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Oh goodness another super wonderful postcard from you! I have actually never heard of Quolls, so i found this terribly interesting. And the fact that it is a first day of issue makes it extra special! Thank you so much!!!
Comment: Hello Yvonne & Jeana,
Thank you so much for your lovely package you sent me for the swap, "Happy Mail, Yay! #20." I love the variety of items you sent me. First of all, I absolutely adore the cat stickers you chose for me. I have nothing like them and so they will be unique when I share them or use them. Thank you for the tea. The choosing of the washi tape was smart too as I did not have any of the patterns. Next to the wooden pieces, interesting arrows to use on all kinds of projects. I already have ideas! Then to my FAVORITE, the postcards to be colored, every one of them has its own special picture and beauty. I can't wait to color them. Thank you for an awesome package.
Comment: Yvonne & Jeana, you have sent me a Gem of a Christmas card, a beautiful Christmas art PC showing a handsome young shepherd holding a lamb. Love the PC has matching art image postage stamp on the card. I'm putting your Christmas PC up on display in my apt as jewel of my Christmas decorations. Happy December! Hope all of you enjoy your Summer!
Comment: Thanks Yvonne & Jeana for the lovely roses PC. Perfect timing too....it just snowed here yesterday! Although it only happens about every 10 years, I sure wish I had your nice SPRING day!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Melbourne B&W postcard, this fits my collection nicely! And again thank you for the special stamp on the front too. The weather over here is mostly rain and wind this week, temperature slowly dropping to around 0C. I wonder if we'll get snow later this month :)
Comment: THANK YOU so much for the wonderful card and goodies. I had an especially difficult day today with my students and your thoughtfulness gave me a much needed lift. The vintage-like cards will go into my Christmas art journal
Comment: Wow! Lots of numbers! Great postcard! I wish we were heading into spring here, winter is quickly approaching and nights are 0°C of colder now and I'm really not a fan of the cold! We are still having warmish days though, so that is nice. Happly Holidays!
Comment: Yvonne, thank you so much for the butterfly postcard. I love that you included our dogs and the guinea pigs in your greeting! And the joke was so bad, I couldn't stop laughing! Thanks for a fun swap.
Comment: 1st off id give you a 10 if I could.......! what a lovely swap. All the fabulous goodies too.
I was sincerely touched. The notecards are stunning.I love the snowman sticky notes too. It was such a delight to receive - thank you. My best friends name is Yvonne, just saying
Comment: Hi Yvonne and Jeana, thank you for the super PC, with Santa in automobile. I really like " Laughing Elephant " PCs. The postage stamps are really beautiful. Thank you for your generous assortment. Best to you. Happy swapping.
Comment: over the seas, it flew ~
to arrive safely for an utterly delighted
recipient: thanks so much!
great little tribute to those life savers,
while i should never need their service,
it's an honor to be reminded of them
in my postcard collection!
Comment: Thank so much for the Jack Russell PC. They are really cute dogs, but I can't keep up with them, so I stick with my 2 cats that ignore me most of the time. Thanks for all of the great stamps, too. I love seeing foreign postage and these were really interesting.
Comment: I wish I could rate you a 10 or higher! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Thank you so much for the love and effort you two have put into this.
I love EVERYTHING you've sent to me, especially the Quokka stuff!
You have made me so happy!
It is a very special advent calendar and you've read my profile so carefully. I really appreciate it. <3
Response: WOW - that postage was sooo quick!! We had such a wonderful time preparing it - so much fun and laughter - hope you like it <3 - have a wonderful advent :)
Comment: Would you believe these Jane Foster pc's just because available here a few weeks ago, and I had preordered them? And to top it off, this is the EXACT postcard I sent my partner for this swap, lol! So, yes, I adore it, and am thrilled to have this one in my collection! On a side note I am just realizing how expensive it is for you to send postcards...it's nearly twice what we pay for overseas poscards. Our USA rate is .34 for a postcard and .49 for 1 oz regular sized and shaped letter, while the international rate is 1.15 for a 1 oz letter OR a postcard.
Comment: I think this postcard is GREAT!!
I love it!!!
Very good squid indeed. I love the postcards from Australia that have the stamp on the front. I've been sent a few different ones over the years but this one is easily my favourite
Thank you so much XXX
Comment: Thank you so much for the gorgeous wolf! He will indeed have a place inside my journal! As to where I find the time, I have learned to stay healthy and sane to MAKE the time for myself each day. Generally after I get my younger two kids to sleep I spend a bit of time working on swaps, and my own art projects. It's a very slow process, but I'm enjoying watching it come along!
Comment: Thank you for your PC. I've been through Bowen a few times. I've got photo's but no PC........Until now! I like the marine life stamps too. I can't remember seeing these before. :-) PS: I just received a second PC from you for this same swap! I'll send you one in return. :-)
Response: Thanks for the surprise! Such a beautiful foxhound postcard - <3 - and very cute animal stamps! Very happy mail today :)
Comment: Hello again Yvonne and Jeana! Thank you for this fabulous halloween pc! I absolutely loved it, and the jungle postage stamps that you included were just incredible! Not to mention the adorable washi tape you added <3 Thanks for everything! From Sophie x
Comment: That is an adorable postcard that you will be getting back...I'm sensing a theme and I'm going to add animal stamps to the back for you...thanks very much for the charming notes! Also, I'm thrilled with all of the whale stamps that you used on the envelope to me, definitely special!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!
Comment: Thank you very much for the pretty postcard and the beautiful stamps, I really love them! :) Here it's fortunately a bit warmer...at least during the day, at night it's similar :D Best wishes to both of you and Rex! Have a wonderful weekend :)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card! I love woodcut style artwork. Recovery from the fire has been slow, but our new home is much nicer than the previous one. Our cats are finally relaxing enough to play.
Comment: I love the ATC you all made! Thank you!
Elephants are extremely cool animals. They have such a heart for each other, they mourn their dead, they protect each other when giving birth... Amazing!
Comment: Thank you for the tapestry! I enjoy them as well. Always amazed in Eropean museums and government buildings when I see them covering a whole wall. I love to cross-stitch but when I think about what the pattern must be like or whether it was just in the artist's head as they wove I'm just in amazement.
Comment: I love your deconstructed journal! What a cool idea! It's so happy and thoughtful. It's what you needed to do but also what I needed to receive :-) A million thank you's around the world to you xxx
Comment: Hello Yvonne & Jeana! The card you sent is really something. Your card of the front page of the "The Atlanta Constitution" newspaper shows a article about Skylab breaking up over Australia - I remember this being in the media at the time :) The Antarctic and Space themed stamps are a bonus too. I'd be interested to know where you got them from :) R & J. I would give you 2 hearts if I could!
Response: Hello! Hope you are both well <3 We are sometimes able to buy mint stamps on ebay but normally we buy our stamps from the online Australia Post shop (look under collector stamps). Take care! <3
Comment: Thank you very much for the beautiful postcard of the Labrador retriever, he/she have a eyes that steals your heart ... and Bruno, Felipe and Florencia thank you also for your greetings and send much love to you ...
Greetings from Chile!
Comment: Thank you very much for the beautiful postcard of the Mont Ruapehu, the view is truly glorious ... I hope one day to visit Australia, I had not thought of New Zealand, but seeing this beauty, I add this destination to my places to visit ...

Comment: Yvonne & Jeana you are our favorite swap partners! :) We could give you 5 hearts if we could! Thank you again so much for the beautiful 3D cards and so many stamps! We wish we had a club like Stamp Explorer in the USA.
Comment: Oh what a heartwarming post. Thank you so much for the postcard & the perfect matching cigarette cards. I simply love them! Hope to see you two soon again in another swap, till then have a great time!
Comment: Thank you so much for the PC! In NYC we say, you are "in" Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, or the city (a.k.a. what everyone outside of New York calls Manhattan, but here, we just refer to it as "the city") - but you are "on" Staten Island.
Comment: AWESOME ATC!!! The bumblebee, gold, and LOTR snippet are so perfect together. Very inspirational for my future ATCs :-) I love that I get to keep your first ATC, I hope that you go on to make many more in the future!
Comment: Oh I am pretty sure you had a brilliant time in Europe back in vintage times...I really like your expression and your postcard with the pretty stamps. I do hope to visit Melbourne one day in the future. Seems like we are little time travellers. Have a sunny weekend.
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard and all the extra goodies! Love it. 🌻🌺🌸
03/23/17: You are so sweet! Thank you so much for the extra gift! I love the inspiration kit ... my favorite is "Make space for what matters." Thank you again! 🌷🌼🌷
