Comment: Hello and thank you so much for the wonderful letter, I really enjoyed it! Also loved the PC and can't wait to try the tea! I plan to write back but it may take me a while as this is my busy season at work. Best wishes and thanks again for a great swap!
Response: You're so welcome. No rush on replying back. I know how life gets sometimes. :) I look forward to it.
Comment: I can't believe this swap made it this fast, yay! I really liked receiving this mail from you, thanks for such cute postcards and notecards, they always come so handy! The washis are super cute and the tea looks great, I've never tried it before! I also loved reading a bit about you, I'm glad to see you're enjoying these swaps :)
Response: I know, right? That did ship pretty fast. Enjoy!
Comment: Oops I rated you for USA and Int'l reversed - and now I have found out what you do for a job, so I guess I also read them in reverse order!! Thanks for the newsy note - I am temporarily cutting down on swaps which should give me some time to write back. Neat idea to include the address label!
Response: Yeah, you're so welcome! Any little bit helps, even if just in addressing the envie. :)
Comment: I am curious, not sure you've told me the nature of your current job. I always think it's fun to imagine what I would do if I moved on, but like you, find that the reality is sometimes a little too ... realistic :D
Comment: Thanks for your letter - yes I think this exercise did make me a little more present. I am not good at sticking to a writing schedule, but this was a little like a journal exercise and I appreciated the five senses observations as prompts!
Response: You're welcome. I thought it was fun, too. :)
Comment: Thank you very much for your postcard. I love poppies. There are a lot of poppy fields in Flanders (Ypres), the symbol of WWI. There is even an English poem of poppies made by a Canadian soldier. The title is ' in flanders fields'
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely postcard! When I find actual stationary (letter sets) I splurge also. They are almost impossible to find in Houston. Have a great day and enjoy your new goodies.
Comment: Hello and many thanks for your letter and the goodies you sent. I especially love the pretty postcard.
I will answer your letter as soon as I caught up with all my pen pal mail, so maybe it will take a little while... Enjoy spring time!
Comment: Hi There! I had a wedding yesterday. My niece was married. She planned the whole thing herself, and used many ideas from Pinterest! It was very beautiful and original and I was glad I went. I almost didn't go, as we had a blizzard! April 14th and a blizzard! I got a good 18" on my patio and it is still snowing on Sunday evening at 6pm!!!
Thank you for your wonderful PC! Happy swapping to you.....
Comment: I loved the Kokopelli PC, thank you 😊
So far been a great week. I am still recovering from surgery, learning how to walk again and am no longer using crutches or a cane YAHOO!!! Now trying to tackle stairs - which isn’t such a big Yahoo yet as it’s been so long since I’ve walked up/down stair normally that I don’t know how to do it. Up is a bit easier, but takes a lot of effort - DOWN - on the other had my knee is totally saying ‘are you crazy, you want me to bend that way?? not going to happen chickadee, I am just going to lock up right here and you’ll not going anywhere unless you do one step at a time’!!!! So my leg has literally got me in a deadlock when I try walking normally down the stairs. I’m not sure what I’m going to do I can’t throw the steak or treats or anything to try to bribe to work with me. Thinking maybe tomorrow I’ll try a crutche and if that help cox it along. I’ll get it eventually, I raised for stubborn kids I managed to get them to do what I wanted, this leg just doesn’t realize what it’s up against yet 😀🧐🤔💪👵🏻👩🏻👧🏻. May take a bit, but I am an ARMSTRONG, GRANDMA who misses her TWO GRANDCHILDREN IN A BIG TIME WAY and right now I may walk like a Sloth and stairs are frightful - but by next week I am going to have stairs accomplished and walk like a gorilla (clumsy, but I’ll be walking faster) and damnit I am going to see my granddaughters. Where they live their flowers are coming out trees are coming in bloom grass is green, spring has arrived in Salmon Arm, but so have the frogs and I have a terrible phobia of frogs. So maybe I should be practicing running as well, because I don’t know what I’m going to do if a frog crosses my path, sloths don’t move as fast as I will need to - But my daughter will be laughing her heart out watching it. Hope you have a great week as well thanks for the wonderful card and the wonderful note.
Comment: Hi! I had so much fun reading your letter. And I loved the postcard you included. Thank you for sharing about yourself. It really made me smile. Be on the look out, I will be replying soon. Happy Pen Paling. =)
Comment: Cute PC! Love the jokes. Good luck with the recipes and dr. Hope we are partners again! Love your writing..... happy swapping.....
Response: Me, too! Haha! By the way, you're going to receive another postie from me for this swap. I posted it yesterday and then realized right after I did that I had already sent off this swap. Whoops!
Comment: Thank you so much for your letter. I really enjoyed reading it. We went out taking pictures of the wild flowers up around Brenham and yes they are absolutely beautiful! Happy Spring and Happy Swapping!
Comment: Thank you for this pretty PC. When I told Baby Doll that y'all said hey she raised her head. She doesn't "talk" at all. I've had her for 16 months and other than 'woofing" in her sleep she has only barked ONE time!!
Comment: Hi Larissa, thank you for the teas and blank note card! This really brightened my day. My mother passed last week, so it's been a crazy two weeks. Your card was timely. I can't wait to try them! I'm glad you enjoyed reading my profile. I love the sparkly butterfly on yours. Have a great Spring! I'm sure the flowers are blooming in Texas.
Comment: Thank you so much. I will definitely get Mary's on it's way home and keep the other one traveling. I totally understand the addiction part lol. It's helping me keep my mind off "things". Thanks again!
Response: I definitely know what you mean about this being a great de-stresser sometimes. :) You're welcome. Look forward to "seeing" you around again.
Comment: Hello StwbyQT
thank you for the cute bee animation they are so cute. Good luck with gardening and attracting bees to your garden, once they tell their bee friends, you'll have so many pollinators :D
Response: For sure! I look forward to having a garden/yard at some point in the future! Did you see those save pollinators stamps that are available through the USPS? Super cute!
Comment: Hello Larissa!! I'm sorry for rating you so late, school is now back in full swing, and so I put all of my letters aside for some time. I wanted to thank you so much for the beautiful card you sent me along with the beautiful letter! I loved reading about you and your family :) I will be writing back to you soon! Thank you once again, and happy swapping!! :)
Response: It's no problem at all. I well know how life can get in the way. I'm glad that you liked the letter and I can't wait to receive yours! No rush. :)
Comment: What a beautiful notecard, and I love your handwriting! I used to live with a dog who would eat anything left within reach. I had to learn that lesson a few times before I got the hang of putting any food FAR FAR AWAY from the edge of the kitchen counter!
Response: I'm glad that you liked it and "awh, thanks" about my handwriting. Sometimes I really like it and others, I'm like, "Seriously?! step it up, girl!" Anytime she gets into something, I go, "Did you do this?" and then start laughing. It's not her fault if I leave it within her reach. I didn't do my part. <3
Comment: Thank you for your nice note. I also do not have any shade of green in my thumbs. If plants could remind me to feed them like my dogs do, I'd probably do better. :-)
Response: I totally agree... a plant SOS system would be amazing. My dog on the other hand, will literally get about an inch from your face and stare at you letting you know that she either 1) needs to poop or 2) she need something else, and probably has to poop! HAHA! :P <3
Comment: It is definitely sweater weather here! I own the first 11 seasons of SPN, the stores around me have been sold out of season 12 EVERYTIME I have the money to get it. Lol
Response: I believe it! It's JUST now starting to really feel like what weather should be feeling like around this time of year. Yeah, SPN is awesome! I had to figure out what you meant for a sec there! Haha! <3
Comment: Hi Larissa! Your description of the rain scene totally had me giggling!! I am thankful your fur baby was ok, if a bit wet! LOL! Thank you for the great Friday giggle! Hoping you have a dryer experience this weekend! Hugs, Happy Weekend and Swapping! ;)
Response: Haha! I'm glad that I could give you a giggle. I sure wasn't amused at the time, though looking back, it was pretty darn funny! Take care & hope you're having a great week/! <3
Comment: Thank you for the hello and the cute picture. I know how to post photos, but can’t seem to get them to be smaller enough to fit right on my page. Have a nice day, Jannine
Response: You're so welcome! For what it's worth, I've recently had a few "photo fails" when trying to include a photo, it doesn't shrink down. My thought is to just choose photos that seem smaller. Haha! Either way, photo away! <3
Comment: Love everything! Eagles, Kitties Hippos! Oh my Awesome!!
Response: :) So glad. I had fun picking out the graphics FOR SURE! haha Probably spent TOO much time on graphics. :) I thought it turned out nicely though and you love it --- so correction: WELL worth the time I spent on picking out. :)
Comment: Thank you for all of the great labels. They're the cutest ones! I really like the froggie ones the best I think. :)
Response: You're so welcome, Rachel. I'm so glad that you like them. I definitely had fun picking out the labels.. probably spent TOO much time picking out, but hey you like them and I think they turned out nicely, so time well spent. :)
Comment: UPDATE (2/7/12): Received letter from you, thank you for sending. It was definitely late and not sent by the required sent date for the swap. However, you did explain yourself and wrote a very long letter which was very nice to read so I'll give at least a 5. Please don't be late again on future swaps.
I didn't receive anything from you and it wasn't marked sent so therefore you never did the swap yet from what I can tell.
Response: Thanks so much... very generous of you. :) Look forward to hearing back from you if interested.
Comment: Thanks so much for the great card and shiny stickers! Love the glittery look WITHOUT the actual glitter...I must be the only person on the planet who really isn't into glitter (because of the mess)... don't mind glittery, just don't like the GLITTER, itself! LOL
Response: :) You're welcome.. glad I got 'lucky' and got stickers that you preferred/like!
Comment: Thanks so much! I really enjoyed the series of art cards...could probably have fun writing a story and using them all to illustrate it (can you tell I'm a teacher?) but my 4th graders wouldn't quite "get" all of them! Te ecole de Fontainebleu particularly cracked me up!
Response: :) So glad that you enjoyed. I'll let you know when I post the next round if you're interested! hehe I chose those cards with you specifically in mind. I'm glad I picked well! hehe The Te Ecole de Fontaineblue made me giggle too (for the record)... Definitely makes you look twice and ponder. So, I'd say artist did well with his piece! ;)
Comment: Thanks for the great selection of differend postcards and the nice little insights in your everyday life! Wish you all the best in everything you are doing! Hugs!
Response: You're quite welcome! I'm glad to have you in this swap. I'll let you know when I post the next go round for this swap if you're interested. :) I hope you're having a beautiful week thus far! <3
Comment: Thanks for the great answers! I'm also a big six feet under fan, its hard to come across another one these days! Happy swapping!
Response: You're very welcome - so glad that you enjoyed reading a little about me and the 100 Randoms. :) With Re: 6 Feet Under... I was contemplating that the other day - think I'm just going to buy the series one of these days. :)
Comment: so fun tagging along on a week in your life! It was so interesting to get a glimpse of how you spent your time, and I bet you had a blast on your BD trip to Vegas! I went years ago...and was recently there...at the airport for a flight layover! lol! Thanks so much for sharing & all the great pc's! Happy swapping! :)
Response: :) You're welcome!! I know the feeling, hence why I enjoy even hosting this swap. I'm glad you feel the same! Vegas - Oh man... SO AWESOME! haha For so many reasons. My Diary Postcards should have been used for my vacation weekend! -L
Comment: Thank you for the great note. I shared it with my boyfriend and son while we were riding and I showed my son the Sponge Bob valentine which he really liked by the way. He's 13 but not too young for Sponge Bob. There's an irony in your note and this blasted term paper I am writing that is funny. You will understand what I mean :)
Response: You're so welcome! Awh, I got family approval! **LOL** AWESOME! ;) Can't wait to hear more.
Comment: I really enjoyed your note. My ex-husband was military and in 10 years we moved a lot. He did more since he got deployed often. After this week, I will send you a note. So, understand moving a lot.
Response: :) Sounds wonderful. Yes, the life of the military, and the supporting family is not the easiest.. definitely gives one a different perspective though, which is not a bad thing. :) I look forward to your note.
Comment: ::SQUEAK!:: You so rock Larissa! I loved it all. And I was hoping I'd get it before V-Day :) Thank you!
Response: :D I had tons of fun shopping and putting that one together, myself. I am so glad you like everything I put together!!
Take care and have a great upcoming Valentine's Day! I'm not much into the commercialism of the holiday, but fancy the thought of a little more love in the world.... even if it is around one day of the year.
Comment: thank u i finly figured out how to ratepeople on here im trying my best to get everyones stuff i might have my mom mail and item out for me tomorrow for a swap sorry to the ones that i ahve been late....
Comment: Thank you for the swap. Im not sure when it came as I've been out of town. The ocean and flower ones are my fave. Thanks so much for the personal note and condolences you expressed. Its not easy but we are getting through it.
Comment: Thank you for the assortment of stickers. I'm rating a 5 but would like to note that the postmark was 6/11 which is 6 days later than the swap send by date. Also no message from you letting me know that you would be sending late.
Response: Sorry about that - went on vacation & realized I hadn't sent off when returned from my trip. :/ Glad you liked the stickers! Have a great rest of your week.
Comment: Thanks for the card! I like the quote... I was just thinking something similar a few days ago. (Finally being in a toy store with enough cash to buy whatever I want, but having the maturity not to. Lame.)
Comment: Hi this swap I found unrated, but I have it written as received in my book with heart. Thank you and sorry for late rating.I will write back straigh:)), enjoyed your loong letter a lot. HOpe you are all ok, and what about your sister, should be due now?
Comment: Larissa! Thanks so much for the great envie of mixed stickers! No worries on not having a lot of dark themed ones, I like all stickers as I can put them all to good use! Also, thanks so much for the Sticko Halloween ones, they are spook-tacular! I like your stationary too, its cute, makes me wanna go get a kitten ;) Thanks so much for a wonderful swap!
