Comment: Loved my Unicorn ATC! I knew who she was as soon as I saw her. The Last Unicorn was my favorite movie growing up.. I will definitely check out the book and graphic novel! Thanks for the trade again
Comment: I like the cards. esp the two harvest ones. I will pass along the Christmas one, as I don't collect holiday cards. You did a super job. I will put a note on the Christmas one so I don't accidently send it back to you in a future swap.
Comment: I LOVE this card and was absolutely thrilled with the story you told me from when you were a camp counselor. I'm a huge fan of sharing true spooky stories. This was definitely an extra special package for me. :-D
Comment: Thanks so much for the ATC...it was so cute, lol. I had a lot of fun doing this swap too! It was the first time I'd ever done one of these "unrelated quotes", but I'm hoping there will be more in the future. Such a great way to express yourself, be creative and show some humor at the same time. Happy creating!
Comment: Hello Carina,
This is a Really Cool postcard you chose for this swap. I like how each person that it is mailed to will have different characters to color. You did a beautiful job on the first quarter of the postcard. I am looking forward to coloring the next quarter of this postcard. I hope this postcard turns out GREAT!!
Comment: Wow Carina! You have a major talent in drawing! Wished I could draw half as good! I could recognise that it was Vivien Leigh before reading your note! Love it very much, thank you! So lucky to get you as my swap partner! 💖
Response: Thank you so much! What a wonderful compliment! I'm glad you like it!
Comment: Hello Carina,
You did a beautiful job creating the ocean for this walrus . The flowers and seaweed are gorgeous too. The walrus's body got some of your touch as well. I am looking forward to adding my touch to this postcard.
Comment: Nice job. Thanks for leaving me an easier space to color. I am a novice at this adult coloring for relaxation. Some is a LOT more relaxing than others... to me at least... ha ha ha Have a great weekend. Karen
Comment: Thank you for the adorably-adorned Cheerios card -- I love the conversation hearts and Disney Princes stickers, as well as the happy fox address label :) Hope you and your daughter have had fair enough weather to visit the pool!
Comment: Thanks for the card. Some dog rescue places let you bring back the dogs if they don't work out. My friend got a dog that was already at two previous houses. I don't know where to find the shelters though.
Comment: I could see having an appreciation for plain Cheerios if your tastebuds haven't been constantly bombarded with sugar in other things. The less sugar I eat the more appreciation I have for simpler flavors. Thank you for the card!
Comment: I have one traveling to Russia still too. Probably about 45 days as well. I was getting a little discouraged with postcrossing because I hadn't received any cards but today I finally got my first one! Swap-Bot spoiled me lol Thanks for the cute card!
Comment: Got your nicely colored postcard. There is no address on the card in order to be returned after round D. I can add your address from your envelope if you would like. If you want it to go somewhere else, please PM me the address.
Response: Sorry about that Coss and Thanks so much!
Comment: Thank you for the striking photo of Dame Elisabeth Frink and for the history lesson :) I hope to see her work one day soon at the National Portrait Gallery -- London is in my top-ten travel cities wishlist!
Comment: I received a confirmation via UPS Informed Delivery that the item was to be delivered, however USPS did not forward to the address. It was not this partner's mistake, the USPS did this. The postcard looked really nice and I appreciate your time!
Comment: Thank you! I totally believe that people often go missing in National Parks. I think stuff like that is fascinating! I read a book a few years ago about the deaths in Yellowstone National Park. So interesting, and a little bit scary!
Comment: Thank you for the striking portrait of Nancy Mitford from the National Portrait Gallery -- on my London wishlist :) -- pretty seashell postage, and interesting, eerie fact! It made me think of Twin Peaks, The X-Files, and Disney's 90s paranormal series, So Weird. (I was bummed when Cara DeLizia left, and they had to write off Fiona :/) Happy Monday!
Comment: Sorry to hear about your husband's injury - hope he is feeling better soon! I'm trying to get myself into the habit of going on walks 3 times a week, so I am doing little circuits to the post office and library and home again, which is about 2 miles. Definitely don't push it; even a normal walking speed is better than nothing.
Comment: Carina, thank you for the postcard of Market House. No, I haven't been to Fayetteville. We moved here 7 years ago to retire. It seems if we travel, we go to the Outer Banks. I'll have to tell my husband we need to travel westward. Shirley
Comment: Hello Larina! Thank you so much for the beautiful postcard! "Faerie Wars" sounds like a really interesting series--I enjoy books like that! I added it to my Goodreads list! Thanks for the suggestion!
Comment: Thank you for the idyllic vintage view of Martha's Vineyard (painting al fresco! :) -- I have always wanted to visit. Cape Cod a few Septembers ago for a half-marathon is the closest I've gotten; I didn't have time to take the ferry to the Kennedy Museum... I am not looking forward to summer, either; this week, it's gone from 80s to rainy, windy 60s, and I'd much rather the latter if it means cooler temperatures :) Although I always remind myself that nothing in my life (not LA or TX weather) has yet surpassed the extreme humidity of Singapore. Stay cool :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the postcard. You are right about the profile. I didn't think it was a big deal until I got banned from a swap. I will continue to add to my profile and as I get further along. Hope you have a great rest of your day and thank you again.
Response: No problem! Us Newbies got to stick together. I love your new profile! I love coffee too! My husband plays PokeMon Go at a nearby park everytime he gets a chance. He's team Instinct.
Comment: Hi Larina! Thanks for the cute octopus card :) I actually have this collection too and may have sent this guy out for this swap as well! too funny. Happy to see it again as I love it. I can see how your mom could hate octopus. I think they are pretty neat though! Take good care!!!
Comment: Thank you for the postcards. FYI: Sometimes gas stations that are travel centers have postcards. Museums usually have pcs, book stores, galleries, Welcome centers, airports, sometimes Hallmarks, antique stores can have them. There are several online sources, let me know if you want links.
Comment: Thanks for your great postcard! I LOVE the silence of the woods, too :-) Your chickens' names crack me up! I have WAY more postcards than I need and will happily send you an assortment - PM me if you want.
Comment: Hi, thank you for the great Inuyasha collage, very nicely done! You should know that the glue holding the two pieces of your card gave up... somehow the card made it to me, but when I picked it up from my mail stack, it was in two pieces, showing the notes on the calendar page . =( I'm happy it completed its trip before doing that!
Response: Oh my goodness I'm so very sorry! It was my first collage postcard I've ever done! I think I over did it with the mod podge! I will learn for my mistake. So sorry!
Comment: TY. I hope you can find something to help you stay awake enough to pass your time in a more enjoyable way. That traffic must be a killer.- Maybe get yourself some audio books read by your favorite actors to listen to when stuck in the gridlock..
