Comment: Thank you for this beautiful postcard I love lilacs and this is perfectly done. The lilac is what always brings memories of my grandmother on our old farm which brings a huge smile. Thankyou Martha. Hugs, Mona
Comment: So suprised to find your pc in my mailbox. With this crisis going on I didn't think I would receive it because sending overseas is difficult at the moment. Love the happy vibe of your pc. Thank you! I hope you are still in good health. Stay safe❤
Comment: Thanks for this beautiful and bright PC! Just the perfect thing for our stormy days! Right now the wind is blowing so hard my addition windows are vibrating. I hope they find Amelia Earhart one day and lay her body and mystery to rest. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Hi Martha! This is so simple and elegant--I love whatever glitter you used on the letters and doily. This will be a perfect embellishment for a pocket or journal front. I'm also in LOVE with the vintage Valentines you sent--so thoughtful--I will treasure them! Thanks for a wonderful swap, Martha; it's always a pleasure to swap together.
Comment: you did a beautiful job on the cardinal (I assume paper pieced), it's a lovely little quilt. Thanks too for the pretty fabric andthe vintage buttons are just right because I'm making an art quilt with many vintage buttones
Comment: Hi Martha, thank you for your nice note sent along with Zanets pc. I will pass the postcard along in the next round. Yes, I would be happy to do a private textile swap with you. I giggled at your PHD. I’m an expert UFO accumulator myself 😁 your fidget quilt sounds lovely. That is something on my “must try list” thanks again!
Comment: Hi Martha. Well, ur envelope got totally demolished by the Post Office. All that was left of ur envelope was the front with my address on it. Luckily ur Christmas card & Art collab were still with the front of the envelope. I think we lucked out on that one!! Happy Holidays 2 u, 2!!
Comment: Oh Martha..... fun fun fun to receive from you again.....and I love this scavenger hunt postcard....... I love these swaps also..... Merry Christmas and happiest of 2020 to you!!! Thanks for a GREAT card!!!!!
Comment: So nice to hear from you! I'm glad I get to finish this one and send it on. I'm thinking of cutting back on some of the swaps and this gives me a chance to do that and not feel like I'm holding up someone's card. Hope your move goes well!
Comment: Thank you Martha for large envelope full of Deco Books, extras, that you sent to me for the swap. I will enjoy decorating the Deco Book, & I'm glad to have the used postage. Happy Thanksgiving!
Comment: I'm sorry this is a late rating. On Aug 12 I had a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. So I was in the hospital. I'm doing a lot better. My husband was rather preoccupied, to say the least. Thank you for your patience. Also for the postcard!
Comment: Hi Martha! I got the cards... Thank you for the Texas one. I don't have a "Greetings From Texas one" I like it better than the one I do have. It will be added to my collection :-) I love the coaster one too.. I had one of those many years ago. It was lost in one of my moves. Funny thing... my brother lives in Ft. Collins, where it is from.. I remember drinking Fat Tire beer round about the1990 time frame. :-) Your cards will be sent on. I am adding the "Adventures of the Traveling Postcard" info on the Grace and Peace PC, as you only put your name and Rnd 94 on it. No explanation as to which swap Round 94 is!! Thanks for the PCs!
Response: First, thanks for the rating and the heart. Thanks for adding the needed info to my card. I had not started a new card for quite some time & I don't know if I have ever had one returned.
The coaster PC must have been on an adventure of its own. I wonder how these coasters (I think there were 6) made it from Colorado to the thrift shop here in southeast Missouri.
Comment: Sorry, but there was no communication on this being mailed 5 days late. Also, the photo is nice, but it is printed on regular computer paper.
Response: I agree I failed to notify you that the swap was going to be late. I do not remember the circumstances that caused it to happen but I am sorry it did.
On the other point, I don't think the swap directions specify that the photos have to be printed on photo paper.
Comment: Your lovely envelope reached our house this afternoon. Thank you so much for including your own photos from Chicago after reading my Pinterest profile. So thoughtful!
This morning I sent an envelope for #76........you're my partner.....;-)
Comment: This little mini was well worth the wait. I love it...Your hand quilting is lovely and even. I love little birds on quilts and the extra fabric is beautiful. I have never seen that print before. Thank you Martha for both!
Comment: Martha! Your "pretty papers" are absolutely breathtaking! You are a master at the gesso application. They arrived today and one piece is already in a journal in process! My pages just didn't sing, but yours sure do! Thanks so much and thanks for the found family photos!
Comment: Hello, this artist postcard came today and it was very lovely. I like how you used foil for the surface and formed it around the bird punch outs. The postal machines mangled it and that was the delay. Thank you for the lovely work.
Comment: Excellent card! It tells a story ... I love that sort of atc’s ... what a find-those images....the stamp the ruler all fit together so very well... thank you so much as well for the great brads!
Comment: Hi MJ. I got your envelope. Thanks for including the website for the street art installation. I did some sleuthing and found out... "The mural showcases several floating heads from people Zimmermann [the mural artist] encountered in the Bucktown park or nearby, in places such as the Milwaukee, Damen and North avenues intersection." Very cool. Thanks also for the extra photo of Sea World. My sister loved San Diego when she visited a few years ago.
Comment: card arrived safe and sound, ready for the next turn. Also, special thanks for the awesome extra cards and photo. They are wonderful, I enjoyed them so much! Especially the weird photography (fabulous) and the beer card. Such a treat they are!
Comment: Hello dear Martha, thank you for such an amazing swap! I loved what you did with the tea bag distressing and I am so happy with the handwritten postcards and bits. Thank you so much for your generosity!
Comment: Hello Martha! Nice swapping with you again. I like what you did with the index card and the orange circles with the black stitching makes the card pop. Great decision! Thanks for the extras. I really like the distressed paper with the girl on it. I'm running some ideas through my head for it. Thanks a bunch!
Comment: Oh, Wow! I love the book you made for me. I love the way the pages are color-coordinated. Thanks for the little article about the crows. The whole book gave me a new outlook on making glue books! Love your work...❤️💜💚💙💛
Comment: What a talent you have! This is simply lovely, and I'm so glad I got you for a swap partner. Thank you♥
Added 7/16, I found the antique postcards hiding in the envelope this morning! Wow, how cool they are; thank you for sending them.
Comment: Thank you Martha, Love the Dina Wakely stamp you sent to me...Hope to make a few short trips around the state this summer. You talked about CA falling it to the ocean while you are there. There was an earthquake in Cleveland which is about 1 1/2 hrs from me and one down state close to where we are going in a few weeks. Hope nothing happens when we are there. LOL Have a great summer.
Comment: Martha, this journal page is absolutely darling...I love the wee dancing fairies! You are such a great swap partner...it's always a pleasure to see your name as my partner, in either direction. Thank you also for the gorgeous fairy cut-outs, all ready to iron onto a piece of fabric (my mind is working on a theme...maybe on my next "stitches and layers" ATC...)!
Comment: Hi Martha thank you for the lovely illustration from "Oh what a Busy Day!"..it's endearing. I know what you mean about cutting these precious books up...when I first joined Swap Bot I was appalled at the idea and now it's a little easier. lol. Happy Spring swapping peace love light
Comment: Thank you for the lovely pocket with all the ephemera to use. . . it's really pretty. Sorry for the late rating; I was visiting my daughter in San Francisco & then got sick immediately upon my return.
Response: I hope you are feeling better. I was worried that perhaps the swap got lost. Glad you like it.
Comment: T Rex on the beach. I really enjoyed the theme of this month's swap. It makes for some quirky postcards. I like how the T Rex tail wraps around to the back of the postcard. Thank you mjhaertling.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card and the envie you made to match it! That is so neat how it is out of a napkin. I don't know how to do that but would love to know how. Great seeds you sent as well! It was a great Spring swap!
Comment: Thanks so much for the ATC. Love the Beatles reference! Thanks for all the awesome goodies too. So much cool stuff love sloth an Easter pc. It is beautiful to live on Solitude Circle. We live in the middle of 11 acres of woods surrounded by streams ponds and lots of critters.
Comment: Amazing!! They are both gorgeous! Both are such perfect little compositions and I love the butterfly stamp turned into an insert. Brilliant! The die cuts and recipe pages are very much appreciated!! That dragonfly is sublime.
Comment: Martha, when I saw that sweet kitty envelope I knew I was in for a treat! What a cute page! I love the little girl asking her mom for a 'party frock' . . . sooooo sweet. The little flowers are the perfect touch and love your pattern tissue background. And I'm IN LOVE with the vintage cut-outs you sent. Thanks for a lovely swap.
Comment: Very pretty napkin book pages-the purple flowers one is my favorite. Thanks also for the extra napkins-thanks for sharing. I find the most beautiful napkins too at my local Tues Morning store!
Comment: Thanks for the Charms --I agree with uyou, Ireally like B&W fabric with words. And your idea for the blocks is a good one, I'd do ir with black stripping between blocks.maybe only one print as a border and then black binding. But there are surely other good solutions. too.
Comment: It's a really beautiful Journal page. I love being a part of this group! Thanks also for our photos. The tree is so dream-like! :) & I also really loved the sentiment on your notepaper - "old quilt " :)
Comment: Thank you for the card, you did a lovely job of painting the flower bulb! There's a strange story about how I received the card. I had been waiting and waiting for the card, and I was getting worried that it had been lost in the mail. Today a co-worker showed up and said that she had been at her sister-in-law's house and happened to notice a card hanging up by the door that she was waiting to give back to the mailman because it had been delivered to the wrong address. She saw my name and said "Hey I know her! I will take it to her!" So it was delivered a few blocks up the road from me and just so happened to find its way to me! It was meant to be. :)
Response: What a great story! Glad the card made it to you.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely card. I wish you all the best for 2019.
Cadzand is indeed by the North Sea.
We experience allt he seasons here. Winter is usually cold, grey and windy and sometimes we get a bit of snow (like 10 cm) but that happens only 1 or 2 days per winter.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely tag. Yes, the fires were about an 1-1.5 hours away from us. Which means we were covered in ash and severe smoke during the fires, but not close enough that worried for our property. We have been doing donation drives and cooked food for fire evacuees on Thanksgiving. We all know people who have lost everything, so its very humbling, and heart breaking.
Comment: Martha thanks so much for the beautiful card you made and lovely note. Thanks too for the inserts. You must have read my profile~ I will be spending Thanksgiving with one of my two sons and his girlfriend. Happy Thanksgiving!
Comment: Martha: Your glue book is wonderful! I love that you used some fashion mags as a lot of your elements and you did a great job of collaging them on all your pages. The two Christmas cards you sent have the cutest vintage images on them - I will absolutely use those and I also love the 50's Christmas picture. Like you, it reminds me of Christmas Day when I was little - good memories! Thank you for a great swap!!
Comment: love scavenger hunt cards and this one must have taken a round about way to get here... I just today received it!!!! and I can see it was mailed long ago..... Thank you love it.... it's in good shape not damaged!
Comment: What a beautiful corner fold card you made for me. The double-sided paper worked really neat (loved your color choice & scripture too). Thanks also for including extra butterfly stickers and word die-cuts.
Comment: I got the collage today. It is beautiful. It must have gotten lost because it appeared it had gotten very wet, but the collage was fine. The envelope will never see another life however! Thank you for the extras and a wonderful collage.
Comment: GREaT card.... big scary beetle put up a fight with postage machine....but was able to re-glue him..... and YES beautiful faces in Vogue..... creative and fun PC..... thanks.... I love the scavenger hunts also!!!!.
Comment: Martha, thank you so much for the sweet journal page...I just love the vintage "by the sea" images with children! Thank you also for the "button ups" and lace trims; you are the most generous of swap partners!
Comment: Thanks for the card, I have foreign papers that I can add to her card. My husband and I went to Brooklyn for a mission trip. I haven't been on an international trip for several years. I'm not sure if I'll do anymore of them or not. Your contribution with your change makes a difference!
Comment: Martha, I apologize for the late rating...I've been a bit under the weather lately, and have put things aside that never should have been put aside. This card is exquisite! The pressed roses are a beautiful, organic addition...your artistic "signature" is all over this beauty, and I'm lucky to have it! Also...if you and your daughter decide to take another MI road trip, please let me know; I'd love to meet you and maybe have lunch!
Comment: Hi Martha, Thank you for such a sweet, blue collage ATC. I especially liked the use of the postage stamps. I look forward to using the various extras you included and enjoyed the thoughtful note you wrote. It was nice to be partnered with you and would love to meet at the mailbox again. Happy Swapping. Sue
Comment: Thank you for the card and the awesome goodies! I’m excited to add my part to the spring collaboration card and send it home! Maybe I’ll have a go at decopaging using the napkins you gave me :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely page! And all the great extra's you've sent me :-) Sorry for rating so late ... some bad news in my family. But I appreciate all the effort you took on spoiling me :-D
Comment: Martha these are wonderful! those flamingos and absolutely amazing and yes you captured that dialog perfectly! the colors in the water/leaf photo are beautiful...that one leaf floating so bright...and the dragonfly was magical...there is a blue halo around the rocks and leaf...wonderful photos...thank you so much...and I am thrilled with the coin...how lucky am I ?
Comment: Yeah, the one I got for #53 was similar, but grey background instead of black, so this will be somewhat of a continuation. The ribbon is different from any I've seen before; also nice beads and netting.
Comment: Martha, you wrote to me that you struggled with the image but it turned out fantastic! You did a great job and it made me laugh, so cute!! My most curious cat has never climbed in the Christmas tree, but she sure eyed it a lot. Now that she's older she's pretty mellow. lol Thank you too for the pretty papers, perfect for my journal. Have a wonderful day!
Comment: great pictures and thanks also for the eclipse we did not see it here in Texas. Te sign on the old bldg is wondrful also and of course fluffy clouds are always welcome in the sky here as they bring no rain
Comment: Darling journal page my dear! With the sweet little girl and the adorable bunny tucked behind the doily! Love the beautiful colors and all the shimmer! Thank you for the wonderful extras and amazing swap!
Comment: Thank you so much for the march flowers swap! The ATC card will find a home in my new ATC holder. I found a tutorial on you tube and it turned out really good. The oter thing you sent will be put to good use. Your weather is making me totally jealous. We are still in the midst of winter but to show a little faith I have started some seed for flowers and veggiesI I do hope we will eventually warm up so I can put them out by June lol.
Comment: Martha, your VJP is simply breathtaking. This is the prettiest thing you've ever sent to me! I love the sweet little girl and those gorgeous spring birdies and I'm in absolute love with that pink/pearl embellishment across the top. Thank you for including that gorgeous napkin for decoupage and I adored your sewn envelope. What a wonderful swap!
Comment: Thanks for the fun postcard. Interesting aspect: the 'church lady' on the bottom left looks a lot like my oldest cousin on her wedding day! (My sister was her flower girl, so I've seen the picture a lot. That cousin had a daughter a few months before I was born, that's how much older than me she was)
Comment: Great altered cards-good variety of the black birds! AND I love the little scottie square(interesting their origins) and the sweet illustrations of little girl fashions-I too love old magazines! Thanks for sharing! We had big snow storm on Sunday-Monday but today the sun is shining and it's melting a little. Take care-Happy swapping!
Comment: Martha---What a pretty little 4 X 4 journal page you've sent me--the Christian theme is splendid. I am just home from a women's retreat with ladies from my new church home. They were so filled with love and caring for me--definitely making me feel at home for sure. I had a wonderful time even though I'd not met anyone when I set out with a group driven by the chair person of the planning committee. But I never felt alone or like I didn't fit in--that is God's love from their hearts. I will enjoy adding this journal card to my collection! In His Love--PeggyO
Response: I am so glad you like it. Sounds like you had a wonderful time at the retreat, glad you felt so welcomed by the group. Is your new church connected to a larger group? I am active in the LWML work in the Lutheran church.
Comment: Beautiful collage. Love it. Your Mom is beautiful also.and all of the great extras. What a wonderful swap. Thank you. I know where Perryville is. I often go to St. Louis that way if I am going to the west or south side. I live between Murphysboro and CARBONDALE so it is just as close for me to go west as it is north on 13. Thank you again for a great swap.
Comment: What a darling Valentine puzzle piece. I love the interesting background and the red embellishments. The beads just set it off perfectly! Love it! Thank you! Thank you so much for the French ad... l look forward to using it a project, as well as the awesome bird fabric! Thank you, thank you for such a great swap.
Comment: Beautiful! This has been a lovely, sunny winter here in Phoenix. Perfect weather! I'm loving this swap!
Response: Glad you liked it. I am looking forward to continuing this series. Happy about your sunny weather, Ours has been all over the place, 60 yesterday, freezing rain in forecast for today. But that's Missouri weather.
Comment: Thank you so much for the quilt blocks. I really liked them. I love fabric with characters, such as cows, teddy bears, butterflies, etc. I had to chuckle because 4 of the fabrics are also in my stash. Thanks again.
Comment: Like the altered cards a lot-like how you unified them with same background and then put different elements on them. The picture of the dragonfly is very cool-such detail-thanks for sharing and thanks for the extra fibers-Wonderful!
Comment: Well, Martha, this is very lovely indeed. I love the color scheme, and the way your collage skills make it all so cohesive. I just love these 4x4 pages...can't seem to get enough! Thank you for sharing your art with me once again!
Comment: What a great start for a collab. PC! This one is going to be really fun! Thank you also for the little girl images (they will be great additions to my daughter's scrapbook) and the stamps. We aren't in the northern part of MI now, but I grew up in the Northern LP and my husband grew up at the top of the UP where they average over 200" of snow each year! Winter is definitely here -- snowing and 17F today (feels like 0F). :) Merry Christmas!
Comment: LOVE the beautiful journal page! I love the way you put it together. So many great layers! I love the beautiful music sheet! I also love Christmas music! I love this journal page so much! Merry Christmas!

Comment: Thank you for the five's and extra stuf. And also A big thank you for your kind words, you are so right... You never Get over lossing A child, but you can learn to live with it. We don't celebrate thank's giving in Norway, That is all american â˜ºï¸ We also have nativ's in Norway, but the history is diferent
Comment: Thank you for sharing part of your life with me :) I love tall buildings like the one in your first pic, we don't have much of those here in Finland so they always remind me of faraway places :) I'm a Summerfield but I love the fall colours! And that quilt is amazing, your grandson is lucky to have it :)
Response: Thanks for the rating, I am glad you liked the pictures.
Comment: Love the layers and stitching on this atc! And cute bird! I like how you stitched on the leaves, too! Thank you so much for this amazing atc and for the great assortment of ephemera as extras! You should try an altered book cover, I've done a few and really enjoyed making them and have received some really great ones!
Comment: Wonderful page, so pretty! And the envelope too. I love the poetry and the tag with a quote. A welcome addition for my journal. Thank you for the great extras as well and the nice note. :) Happy October!
Comment: Martha, thanks for a pretty VJC--I love the poem about the leaves. It is much like the ones we often memorized in 1st and 2nd grades. I must be sure I make a copy of it to use in some of my fall swaps, etc. Thanks so much!
Comment: Love the envelope!! and the eclipse card. We really MISSED OUT. There were cool pictures on the internet, but it just looked a little overcast here. Yes, the card is very special. Thanks so much!!!
Comment: Well, this should be interesting. As time goes on, the sections seem to get more eccentric. This one has sort of a Polynesian feel to it. I hope you'll show me the finished piece if it comes back to you.
Comment: Hi Martha and thanks for the very cute VJP with a vintage school theme. Perfect timing for this theme and the images you found were so ideal! And thank you for the fun extra goodies too! Cheers! Laurie
Comment: Hi Martha! Thanks so much for the great Vintage Desert Journal Page . . . I know this wasn't an easy theme but yours turned out beautifully! I love the old travel posters, too--the images are really neat. Thanks, also, for all the generous extras you sent!
Response: Glad you liked it. The journal pages are so much fun to swap.
Comment: Martha, I owe you a big apology for the late rating. I'm getting ready to move, and my home is not in it's usual tidy condition...I remember opening this and being so thrilled with the beauty of the page, and with the sweet and generous extras you sent, and I was shocked to discover that I'd failed to rate. Please forgive me...I'm just not myself lately.
Response: Thank you for the rating & the heart.
I understand about forgetting to rate when you receive the swap. It has happened to me too. Glad you like what I sent.
Comment: Martha, I grew up on a farm so I LOVE your ATC, thank you! The pressed flowers made my day--seriously, best thing ever! I adore them, thank you for the work in pressing and selecting those. I wish you many blessings!
Response: It makes me happy if I can send something that I think my partner will like.
Comment: This one's a beauty - elegant, but modern! I like the red, white and black as a palette. Some of the paper wasn't glued tightly, but it only tore a little - the hazards of mail art. Thank you, Martha. Oh, btw, I like your idea of using some of the same elements throughout the series.
Response: Glad you liked the card. I will be sending you some new pieces to repair it.
Comment: Thank you Martha for the lovely fabrics.... the little doily is adorable....I used to be able to crochet doilies but haven't done so in quite a while.... I have never been to Paducah....are you believing that! It's quite a distance from Northern Kentucky but one day I would love to go....I order fabric from the store but would just love to go one day. I went to a gorgeous store in Branson, MO last year....I could have bought the store out! Thank you again!
Response: I was thinking of Critteden county KY. You must be in another part of the state.I have been to the huge quilt show quite often but not in the last few years.
Comment: Thank you Martha for the georgeous vintage journal page with a child. I really like the delicate colors and images you used, very beautiful! Thank you for the diecuts, I don't have any of these and the cool postage stamps, can't wait to use all of these goodies. Sorry for the delay in rating we have been gone all week and just got my mail today. 😊
Response: Glad you liked the journal page. I am
enjoying this swap series.
Comment: Your collage is fine! (FYI: Collage doesn't need to be
100% collage unless you are in a swap that says that. It can have add pen/ink/markers lines or rubber stamps, etc. They can bring out details or add some repetition to bring things together. I say keep experimenting and see what you like.)
Comment: Thanks for your twinchies! I loved the scripture theme. I also like the cute note that you wrote on the envie. Thanks for the ATC backings as well as the coloring postcard. I don't have any of them, now I do. Take care! God Bless!
Comment: Sorry to say that this one didn't quite hold up through the mail either! I can see that you used medium to keep it intact... who knows what these poor cards go through after they leave our hands?! Thanks!
Comment: Hello Martha, Thank you so much for the cutest dog, I love it! She looks ready for Paris all right. lol And for the vintage magazine pages, love my swap! Thanks for sharing your cat story with me. lol (about the suitcase). Our cat use to do that with my hubby when he traveled for work. lol I've had my family here all last week, but ready to be outside. It's going to be sunny and warm for the next few days! Have a great day!
Comment: This owl is so creative! I love the eyes made from milk caps!! I found a great place for this special creature to live. Thanks for sharing your talents with me and making something so creative!
Comment: Oh Martha, you spoiled me with this swap! I LOVE the notecards you sent, but I just ADORE the pocket letter. Thank you, and thanks for the extras to make one myself. Now that I finally can see one in person, I will know more how to do one. You gave me so many extras for this swap I wish I could give you 100 hearts. Thank you so much! Oh- and the library pockets, the one that had the childrens name on the sign out card....best thing I have gotten in a swap this year. I just absolutely loved it.
Comment: It's calculus!! I loved calc! When/if I get back to ATC's I can't wait to use some of these pages as backgrounds for something science or math! Thanks. I can't bear to take pages out of my own calc books. I have some elementary math books I do use sometimes because I have double and triple copies if them. I think your thoughts on the new method are correct. I love what you started! I'll sign up for another round soon-had to take a mini break because of travel. Thanks also for the PC, very sweet!
Comment: Hi Martha! Thank you for your note, postcard, and extras :) that's so great you're going to plant this year; I hope it's a good experience for you ⤠it's chilly and rainy her but someday spring will arrive! :)
Comment: Sorry for the late rate. I just love the journal page! So clever and well done. Thank you so much, and thank you for the extras, too.
Response: I'm glad you like it. I need to ask a favor of you...I usually take a picture of each swap before I send it, but I forgot to take one of this. If you are able would you snap a picture and email it to me? [email protected]
Comment: Thank you for the stunning card - I love it! Beautiful composition, and thank you so much for taking the time to read my likes. This was tailor-made for me, and I really appreciate it. I love the tissue paper texture on the notecard, as well. Thank you so much for making my day!
Comment: Thank you Martha for this awesome swap!!! I was speechless when I opened the envelope ..I am very grateful for everything inside .I am looking forward to use them on my projects and to add to the PC .. Many hearts <3
Comment: Thanks for chatty note. I'm a great scarf wearer (and I send a lot for those swaps too as my local shop has many) I've got none like this on and black coats to wear it with. I'll expect compliments. The FQ is very, very usable and the little note book too. Have good year.
Response: Glad you liked what I send. I love thrift shops.
Comment: Thanks Martha for the great ATC. It's hanging on my refrige! Thanks for the tuck ins, I have grandchildren who love to color,so I hope to keep them a little busy with those tomorrow! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Oh, I hate it when I discover a swap gone unrated...the envelope was so fun, with the "How to Clean the House" notice with the instructions inside. Thank you, I was grinning even before I opened it! 've passed along the PC ;).
Comment: Loved your ATC!. I love the red cardinals also. When I lived in TN I loved watching them. We dont get many here in East Texas, but when I do see one I enjoy them so much. They are much more beautiful up north against the snow background. <3 <3 <3
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful inspiration cards. I especially like the pink and blue painted daisy. You did a great job on your first shaker box and that quote was a perfect match! Thanks also for all the fun little embellishments. Those hedgehogs are adorable. Thanks for joining my swap! <3
Comment: Thank you so much for your Lemonhead ATC! This was by far the most creative one I've seen!
Response: Glad it got to you. Some of my swaps seem to be taking the extra slow mail route.
I never buy lemonheads but that's the first thing that came to mind when I saw the lemons. Glad you liked it.
Comment: Martha if I could give you 100 hearts I would. The ornament went traveling somewhere, but made it to my house today. It is postmarked November 2nd. I wonder where it has been. Anyway I love the doily snowflake. Absolutely gorgeous! I love the vintage look of it and I can not wait to put my tree up so I can add it. Thank you for the generous extras. I love getting book pages from other countries and sheet music. Just wanted you to know that you made my day. ♫♥â¤â™¥â™«
Response: I am so glad it finally got to you. I was upset at the thought that it was gone. And I was going to mail a different ornament tomorrow.
Comment: I got your snowflake and already have it hanging up. I put it on my dotee ree for now which is up all year. I will move it as soon as I start getting everything else out. I love the blues that you used. With the collection of materials that you sent I think you have plenty to make a Dotee Doll right there.
Response: Glad you like it. I know I have supplies to make Dotee dolls, I just don't know if I should start another kind of swap right now. Maybe I'll just make a few for myself to start.
Comment: Thank you Martha for the lovely Fall envie that you decorated and for the wonderful things you sent in it! I love everything. The personalized return address labels are my favorite! I also love the stamped note paper and the handmade envies. And the nc. Everything is wonderful! You did a great job! Happy Autumn! :)
Response: Glad you like it. I had fun putting it together. I was pleased with how the envelope turned out.
Comment: Thank you Martha! The envie with Aspen on it threw me for a loop...love how you tied that in with the cool ATC and your letter!! I, too, am of the Archie and Betty comic book days!! Thank you for the great ATC's and fun extras!
Comment: Thanks for the cards, love your quotes. You are now the 3rd person to use a hot air balloon. I made one, the person I sent to made one for her partner and you used one. What are the chances of that, that's awesome. Thanks for the extras too.You should try inches.
Comment: Beautiful work from you and previous partner! Thank you for the vintage hexagon block, it is so cool! It is helpful to see because I aspire to piece together a hexagon quilt one day. So after that I can frame it. I also have a large piece of my MIL's bobbin lace I need to have framed. Thanks also for the other fabric samples, I will find a fun project for them. It was very thoughtful of you to send these to me, I appreciate it and will cherish them!
Comment: Thank you, Martha for the interesting images. I think that my favorite clipping is the little girl holding the Dr. Seuss book, Green Eggs and Ham!!!!! I will put them to good use. I had never really thought to cut things out of magazines before, but, it was fun!!!!! No, I have never even been to St. Louis..I do not drive and my friends are not interested in driving that far for me. I have only lived in Missouri for 10 years, coming here from Orlando because of health issues, and my daughter helping me with my recovery at that time. I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mtns. and love the Ozarks..I have falt at home here.
Response: I believe the Dr Seuss image was from a magazine from the 60's or 70's. The best time for MO weather is coming up, I love the fall color.
Comment: Love this amazing card,,,great addition for my collection,, this is a very creative card and I am thrilled I got it,,Thank you,,Sorry for the sorrow that you are feeling, I went this last year so I do know how you feel and with God''s help you will be ok..I will pray for you and I know prayer works,,God bless you and Thank you again
Response: Thank you for the kind thoughts. My life has certainly changed but I am dealing with it with God's help. I know I will never get over it but living by myself is getting easier with the passage of time.
Comment: Great looking card so far! Love your envie and the photo is gorgeous! I love how the low, dark clouds look like mountains. If you didn't make it to the Sonoran Desert (Phoenix & Tucson), you should! Come in the spring to see amazing wildflowers and cactus in bloom. Not to mention beautiful sunsets! Thank you!
Comment: jUST POPPIN in to rate. How cute is that? LOve the masterpieces! Maybe some day I'll be lucky enough to rcv a full masterpiece postcard. Love that you used canvas too. Is that the real Holly? Or a copy? Either way WONDERFUL. And I loved all the magazine ads. Such nice memories! So generous! hugs.
Response: I believe they are the real Holly. They were in their original packaging & have the American Greetings copyright.
Comment: A lovely package, indeed! Pretty envelope, vintage stamps! And so many goodies that match my profile interests. Quite thoughtful, thank you. I especially love the McCall's fashion digest from 1967 and all the ephemera. And I already have a use for the fabric. Thank you for sharing from your collection.
Comment: Hi Martha! Loved the ad/free card and how wonderful that we are neighbors of a sort!! We should try to do lunch or something sometime!! I love meeting my fellow Swap-botters!! Life is currently busy with traveling but hopefully if you would like we can visit at some point!! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Martha, I loved everything in the envie. The tea "Nan Tea" I can't wait to try. The little envie of stamps had me spending time looking at each one - interesting, I have always loved stamps. Your note has made me want to write you back, which I will be doing. It's surprising how much one can stuff in to an envelope. Thanks for my wonderful envie.

Comment: Hi Martha. You've certainly earned your heart for a very happy piece of mail. I love your multi media Tulip atc - it is so pretty. I also love your mailing envie that compliments the atc, it is so lovely. Thank you for the ribbons, bookpages, the little sleeve filled with lof bits for atcs. AND the wonderful surprise of an elongated penny tucked inside of a tiny envie made from a dictionary page and sealed with a little ladybug sticker. I wish you a mailbox spilling over with tons of happy mail.♥
Response: Thanks for the rating and comments. I'm glad you liked the ATC and the extras. I had only 2 of those pennies so I hardly consider it a collection & decided it should have a new home.

Comment: Thanks for the cute ATC! I am glad to hear that you were able to see some of the state! I havent been to Silver City, hope to go this year. I have been to some other ghost towns here. There are a few of them. I hope hope hope that the craft store you went to was Quality Art. Was it like, a warehouse store, family owned and in an industrial part of town? If so, I work there! Yay! Well, on some weekends now. Thanks!
Response: I think that was probably the store. I got some really nice fabric, different than I had seen other places.
