Comment: Thank you so much for the strips! I will be using them in future swaps/projects.....I like how you used a paper bag to mail them in too! I will remember that when I need an envelope that size! :-))

Comment: Great tag with a wonderful vintage vibe! And great goodies too! The delay in rating is all my fault, I received this a month ago and added it to my tag booklet so quickly that I didn't take the time to rate...My apologies to orode!!!
Response: Not a problem.
So glad you got it safely.
Glad it made a great home for you.
Comment: I liked the different textures that you used, and the tall line in each -- cool that the gold line could be so different in two contexts :) I wish that I could fold myself up into your travel bag -- sounds like fun! Happy vacation!

The trip was fabulous. Many fantastic memories.

Response: You are so welcome. Quite enjoyed creating them.
Comment: Thanks for the great note! :) My mom said "tin" was prettier than "ten". Too bad for her my penmanship turned out terrible, and my name is ugly because of it. ^laugh^ oh, and thanks for the postcards.
Comment: Oh my goodness, she is absolutely adorable! What a beautifully made doll! I have her sitting here now next to my computer and I keep picking her up to look at her. Thankyou, thankyou - I would give you 10 hearts if I could. Thank you also for the fabulous little cross stitch kit. You have definitely gone over and above in this swap.

Comment: Love your Halloween tape. Thank you for an awesome ATC. If your were near id take you to our county fair. I entered 4 quilts. Also make quilts for project linus. Just more reasons to shop for more material. I love quilts shows too. Chicago has an International Quilt Show.
Response: I've been to that show once. Just went to the Grand Rapids show in Michigan last month. I come home with way too many ideas & fabrics.
Thanks for the rating.
Comment: Thanx for the Sleeping Bear Dunes PC. Here's what I say to people who get their panties in a twist over dates..."put on your big girl panties and deal with it." Life is just too short to lose yourself over such foolery. I appreciate you note. Looking forward to swapping with you again. blessings, ellie
Response: You are welcome. Some people can be so critical over something meant to be fun.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard. It is a beautiful scene. I've only made two (or maybe three) trips to Eastern Ohio. It is gorgeous. Have not been in the Amish area... at least I didn't see any Amish about. I love the name Charm for a town.. so sweet.
Comment: Olga, thanks for such a pretty Rolo--I like the mix/match of the two black and white polka dots with the red stripe.----and I just looked again and realized the ribbon isn't light black but black and white polka dots! Have a good week!

Comment: Orode, thank you so much for the great twirly letter and the art postcard. :) I love how you decorated your letter and the envelope so beautifully with the little ink and colored pencil drawings. SO pretty!
Comment: Hello Olga- Thanks so much for the great postcard of Michigan lighthouses. Michigan is another state, like Wisconsin, where people don't realize how many lighthouses there are. Yes, I'm Ukrainian. My family came from Ukraine in 1913 and settled in the coal mine region of northeastern Pennsylvania. My great grandfather's name was Vesko, and my great grandmother's name was Olynyck. I know how to make good pyroyhy and holubtsi, but that is it. Best wishes, Debbie
Response: wonderful! My father came from the Ukraine after WW2.. to Canada.. Shymkiw.. You kinda had to know I was with a name like Olga!
Comment: Olga, what a lovely surprise when you package arrived today. I hadn't seen you were my partner. Lots of fun stuff. Thank you so much. Already see a craft I"m going to do with the kids at church with the fabric snowmen. You're a blessings. 50 hearts. Hugs, C
Response: So glad it arrived safely! I tried to make it an eclectic assortment!
Comment: Thanks for the very lovely ATC and the nice envelope it came in. I enjoyed your note, too. There are not leaves turning here but lots of acorns are dropping. I hope that doesn't mean a cold winter!
Comment: Thank you!
The package was sitting at the german toll. It was ripped on one edge ( and it looks like some water damage?), not sure if this was the toll or a machine, but there was a sticker on the envelope that they cleared through customs. So because it was ripped on one edge the postcards and your notecard are damaged, I will try to flaten/smooth the PCs in a heavy book or something.
I really loved the package you sent. It is a beautiful ATC! I really like it! Thanks for the two postcards! I like the one with the dog! Thanks too for the nice note and the card was beautiful again. Thanks for swapping with me!
Response: You are so welcome. Maybe we will be partners again & I will resend the pc. I always try to tape up my envelopes real good....cheers!
Comment: thank you, the atc is great! lovely. when I was 4 I was sent from Florida to Ohio to live with my grandparents. I thought this would be a good way of showing my kids where my husband and I have been. Thank you so much, I was quite surprised when I saw the postcard. I don't think I got out much at 4, but by 5 I was in Houston.
Comment: I love your cityscape! I doodle and draw a lot of my ATC cards, ad I use watercolor pencils. I love the look!
BTW, I love how you did your clouds, and am going to flatter you by coping your style! Heheheh!
Response: I've a whole series I've done. City buildings, houses and bird houses. Thanks....
Comment: Holy cow!!! I can't believe how much stuff you sent me... I love it all. I had to go through after everyone went to bed (my husband just shakes his head whenever I ooh and ah over goodies and my dogs like to "help" - which means drool on everything).
So many cool things I don't know where to begin! My favorites are the Remnant Collection stuff.. soo pretty and I have never seen it before! But I love everything - the variety of papers, shells, stickers etc. Thank you so much!!!
Response: Maybe I'll get a sampling when there's another altered swap! :-)
Comment: thanks for the gorgeous skinny. I love that you have used sand: my DH is a sand collector, everywhere he goes he picks up sand and we store it in little glass bottles with the name of the place, GPS coordinates and the date he was there :-)
Response: I collect sand also, but mostly in zip bags and small jars!
Comment: Well, that will teach me to open envelopes over the stove!! (fortunately the burners weren't on!! - or would have had little bitty bats and jack-o-lanterns burning!!) Love the atc - skeleton!!!! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for this super swap! I just love the colors of blue and green together. And I love, love the key chain....right up my alley with the love of the ocean! Your letter was so very interesting and I admire that you have gone back to school at your age. I am in my late 50's and I got laid off last March.. I thought I was too old to go back to school....I guess I'm wrong. My husband is an HVAC technician and he owns his own business. Your son-in-law should do well at that. Thank you again, I love everything!!!
Response: Never too old for school. It was scary but has been worth it! Go for It!!!! :-)
Comment: Wow...I mean really Wow. It's amazing. I'm still looking at all the details you added. They are wonderful. You do amazing work. I wish I could stitch paper. I love my altered folder and thankyou very much for it.
Response: So glad you liked it. I could have kept going & going. It was really fun! :-)
Comment: What a beautiful ATC!! I love the various fibers and layers ~ I, too, like the effect that tissue paper gives to a project, and I loved the flittery glitz you used! Comment: You deserve a load more hearts for this ATC!!! It is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you very much for making such a special piece of art. You made me fall in love with Alice again :) Also, thank you for the wonderful letter (your handwriting should be fonted) and postcards. You are a wonderful swapper :)
Response: LOL. I think there is a font kinda like that. Funny because in elem school, I had awful handwriting!
Comment: I love the little note; makes my swaps seem so inadequate...i must get better....love your comment about the King bed not being big enough...i often feel like i am sleeping in a sleeping bag with one on each side squashing me and there is a whole another half of bed
Comment: Olga - OMG thank you SO much for such a wonderful package! The journal is awesome!! I have thought about joining a couple of altered journal swaps but have never done one myself - yours has inspired me to try! I love it :D And the extras were above and beyond - they are perfect! I actually have some of the same kinds like the buttons and the vellum pockets, but not in the same colors, so that was great! And the M&Ms and CandyLand are a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e; thanks so very much. It was such a nice package to open - many, many hearts, and Swap-bot hugs!
Response: so glad you liked it! I really had a fun time making it. :-)
Comment: Great 3D card, nice composition, thank you very much. Kind of a classic looking card. I always enjoy reading how people make their cards. Glad you liked SF, it really is a great place to live.
Comment: Still going thru it. Very interesting stuff on Ohio. Made me decide to go get my daughter's books out on the Amish by Beverly Lewis and start one. I've cut out pix from several things to keep. Even found some vintage pix. Just starting the old Christmas crafts mags. You have preserved those well. So fun to see the old styles from the .80's and 90's. My how time flies. Thank you for sending. Bless you bunches.
Response: So glad you got it. I thought you'd like those old mags! cool.
Comment: WooHoo! Swappin' again. Your atc's arrived so they beat the package. They are both lovely. Of course, I just love anything vintage, but the other one....you are a good painter. Thanks for the card giving me a peek into your life. Hugs, Coleen
Response: You are welcome. I'm really into sea scapes lately. We had a lovely time at the lake.
Comment: Olga, you did a great job on that skinny. And thanks for the extra papers, I can use them since I can't buy sb paper here. Enjoyed reading your letter. I'm a grandma too. We are missionaries here in Ukr.

Comment: Your card arrived today! Thank you so much. I don't have an Ohio "state" PC yet. My in-laws used to live there and we visited a couple of times a year. They were in Medina. It was a beautiful place. Thanks!
Comment: Hello Olga,
Thank you so much for your wonderful Skinny you created for the "SG-Skinny #4" Swap. I appreciate so much your patience with me in the slowness of getting your rating done. I love the Skinny you created--the varied materials you used and how you brought the number 4 into the Skinny. Your Skinny will be a great addition to my Skinny Collection. I look forward to swap with you in the future. Until then, Happy Swapping!!!

Comment: too funny. We were on vacation near Traverse City as well on that weekend. We stayed near Torch Lake at a small county campground on Grand Traverse Bay. Then we went up to the U.P. to St.Ignace and sailed over to Mackinac Island for the day. If you ever get up to St. Ignace there's a great little restaurant called Java Joe's. Killer breakfasts:) Thanks for the zine. take care
Response: That is funny! I love that area. We ended up going to Old Mission and hit the wineries up there.
Comment: Hi Olga. Lovely washcloth. I love the colours you chose. Remind me of roses :) Thank you for the postcards too. Ohio looks great. Wish I could see it all in person. Likewise the exhibition. Momentous or what! Thanks again for a great swap. Hugs, Susie.
Comment: thank you so much for the beautiful ATCs! i especially appreciate the dragonflies with the quote "Stop worrying about the potholes in the road and enjoy the journey." i don't think you could have sent me a more appropriate card right now!!! thank you so much! and i'm definately taking a class on alcohol inks as soon as i find one!! :-)
Comment: Great zine! I'll have to get over to the west side of MI and check out some of your fav spots. We don't get over there all that often. We live on the east side a half-hour north of Detroit. Thanks for the extra card as well.
Comment: Dear friend Odrode!
So good to know you have relatives in Brasil! I liked very much to see the name of my country wrote the way we do by here, using "s" instead of "z". I know this is this form exactly to honour the sound. But, I think you understand me!
Well, the postcards from Lima, Ohio are very beautiful! The one with a Prairie Badger in form of a stamp is spectacular! Loved it!
Multiple hearts would come in hand, I think!
A great smile in my face, you can bet!
Now I can the stamp on the envelope shows Yosemite National Park! As far as I collect UNESCO WHS related stamps and postcards this is great!
Response: Thanks so Much. Glad you enjoyed them. Olga
Comment: Hello Olga, thank you for sharing such a special receipe with me. I love that you allowed me to see the hand writing. I agree it sounds wonderful and I am looking forward to trying it. I use to live in Germany and the Catholic Churches there are breathtaking to put it mildley. You are very lucky to have her recipe collection. Thank you again for sharing with me.
Comment: Thanks for all the goodies. I can tell you checked my profile. I needed the felt. I am going to use some of the rickrack and
