Comment: This swap certainly brightened my day! Thanks so much for the mouse in boots stamped evie, the gorgeous "book" mark seedling planner and lovely note! I have bee doing all those things as well. I made each of the grandkids copies of favorite recipes. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Your postcard of Robert Mallet Stevens “Inn” drawing did not need an envelope, bit it tells me you read my profile and respect my family! That’s ❤️ worthy to me! Thank you for sharing some of your joy-filled memories from the 80’s with me as well! I too miss watching Knight Rider on TV!
Comment: Hi fellow Georgian!! :P Thank you for the absolutely adorable Valentine card and for including two of my favorite things: roses and vintage stamps! ;v; I loved my happy mail so much!! I hope you had an awesome holiday!
Comment: Hi Sarah! Thank you so much for your wonderful letter. It made my day. It was postmarked Jan 25th and I recieved it the 14th. I'm not sure why it took nearly a month to arrive. I hope mine gets to you sooner. <3
Response: I can't believe how slow US Mail is lately. At least it arrived. I look forward to reading your letter.
Comment: oh Sarah...I opened the box and saw the awesome wrapping and thought "I will wait until Christmas"...well tonight, that went by the wayside!!! You so thrilled me with everything you sent!! I love the vintage stamps, the Nancy Drew books, the Paula Deen mag!! The Doxie note paper is so cute!! The book of "to-from" tags are awesome!! I already ate half the cheese straws...how lucky are you to live where you can readily get those!!! I very carefully opened everything so I could save the beautiful papers you used!! Thank you so much for making me feel loved!!!! I wish you and your family a Christmas that is magical beyond you wildest desires!!!!
Response: I'm so glad that you enjoyed your box. Merry Christmas to you as well.
Comment: Thank you for the cool witchy card (lol) and the even cooler stamp! I tried to get Jackolanterns again but they didn't have them but no one mentioned these! I didn't see them online either! I'm going to hoard it until next year,,,, Happy Halloween!!!
Comment: I absolutely loved the decorated envelope! It was so gorgeous and homely and gah, I love it! Thank you so much for it and thank you x a million for what you sent as well! Just gah, thank you for everything! Have a splendid week!!
Comment: Wow, I feel so blessed! Your envie was chock full of beautiful things and it made my soul smile wide! Thank you for your kindness and abundant envie. And the hand drawn envie by your mom was super cute! I love it! Please give her my thank you for it.
Response: This was fun to put together and easy, too since you seem to like the sames things that I do. Enjoy.
Comment: First off, the postcard you used is stunning! Secondly, the decorated envelope is gorgeous! Thirdly, your handwriting is beautiful! Thank you so much for sending such a nice swap to me! Thank you for sharing such a lovely memory with me, it was so nice to read and it put a smile on my face and made me all nostalgic! Thank you x a million for everything! I hope you have a wondrous weekend ^_^
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed this and I am headed back to your mailbox again for a different swap.
Comment: The recipe bookmark you made for me was wonderful! You did a great job with your new watercolor pencils. Your artwork reminded me of Susan Branch cookbooks. I love blueberry muffins, but I've never made them from scratch. I'm looking forward to trying your/your grandma's recipe. It's nice to know it works with strawberries too. The House Mouse stamp and lettering you did on the envelope was so nice! It was fun to receive a swap from someone in Georgia. We're practically neighbors!
Response: I completely forgot about the Susan Branch cookbooks. I have one somewhere in a storage box, I think. I'm glad you enjoyed the bookmark and glad to swap with a fellow Georgia Peach!
Comment: Hello Sarah! I loved seeing you cute little elephant with balloon illustration on the Kew Gardens PC you sent to me. Looking at the bees, so busy at Kew Gardens & its blooms, amazing group. Thank you for the PC & your drawing. Your PC going up on display in my apt.
Response: Thank you and I'm honored to have a place on your wall.
Comment: Sarah, your letter was so, so beautiful and lovely. It made me so happy :) Thank you so much. I would LOVE to send you more letters in the future. Have you listened to the Podcast "And that's why we drink"? Its a paranormal/true crime podcast and i love! Again, thank you so much. You've really inspired me with ideas for envie decorating!
Response: So glad you liked it and I'd be happy to send more letters. Will have to try that podcast in the morning, Thanks for the suggestion!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card, great socks and Tea from England. Lucky you to go to England, probably often. It is on my bucket list. The socks my daughter wants to take them from me! Thank you so very much!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely swap. I like how you put it together and included some many nice details such as the tiny envelopes and the lovely pictures. Yes this swap was very time intensive. I can't wait to use my gifts. Thanks for putting together a great swap!!
Response: I am so glad you liked it. I didn't expect it to reach you so quickly. Thanks for the rating.
Comment: Oh my gosh! What an incredibly wonderful Wonder Years narrative. Not only is your life presented in a beautiful, well thought out visual time-line but with clarity of recall that makes the journey so much fun! I enjoyed it immensely!
Ahhh, The Lost Boys. Nothing tastier than a young Keifer and Jason (sorry, old lady lust coming through)😛
running around being bad boy vamps.
Very nice! More hearts for you!
Response: My deepest regret is throwing away my Lost Boys movie poster. Thanks for the rating and I'm glad you enjoyed the letter.
Comment: Thank you for the fun envelope! I love it! And I so enjoyed hearing about your day. I used to listen to audio books on my 1 hr commute when I had to commute for work. Such a great way to pass the time!
Comment: I have that same AIW Coloring PC collection, so it's nice to get one back! Thanks for the postcard, the always timely AIW wisdom, and the unique way you decorated the message. Thanks, too, for joining in!
Comment: Schluer's is a chain directly from and only in Michigan. :) That would be why you haven't heard of it. Pretty nice, they have their own cafe and menu and pretty much like B&N except it's their own.
Comment: Thanks so very much for the lovely card. I know what you mean by wanting more time to read! I'll catch half just before going to bed, but haven't done much reading lately! Maybe when Bug gets older, she'll let me read more. 😀
Comment: Thank you for everything I'm glad you like my swap I like these kind of swap where you have to a little bit of thought into it. I love the air conditioning postcard definitely made my day thanks again for such a great package
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I really liked the postcard, too...I thought it was funny :)
Comment: hiya sarah thanks for a fab card and rose tea looks yummy not seen it before the white chocolate hot choc looks amazing . are you visiting your hubby family ? hope you have a great visit nice swapping with you again.
Response: Yes - visiting family and a wedding in Manchester and then spending time in Cornwall, Oxford, London and Devon for a couple of weeks. Glad you liked the things I chose for you :)
Comment: I just love the colors. My favorite purple. Sorry it took so long to rate. Things around home here in Ohio are hectic. Trying to enjoy the 70 degrees at the day and 50's at night with no AC is a dream. But next week back in to the high 80's Boo. Glad you enjoyed your little trip. Thanks for the invite back. Will have to think about it.
Comment: Hi Sarah, just received your little package today - the butterfly stamp is lovely. Never had a rose tea before and coincidently I was considering getting some yesterday but it was out of stock. What a wonderful surprise! I know I'll love the blackberry teas, thank you for your thoughtful choices. Hope you're well!
Response: Thank you for the rating and glad you are able to try the rose tea :)
Comment: Hi Sarah! Thank you for the lovely Easter card and your letter! I had the same question - write on the inside of the card, send a letter - what?? I wrote all other the card, so we will see! LOL! I was so sorry to read about the passing of your ex-husband - that is so young! How are things going now that you have had a bit more time after the Lasik? It sounds interesting but scary, so...How exciting about your work expansion - are you having to work crazy hours because of this? Your town sounds really interesting with all the movies being made there! I love audiobooks! I don't think I have listed to or read that one by Jodi P yet - I am currently listening to JD Robbs new story - I so love her! I do love DST! I know we lose a hour of sleep but oh to see the sun longer - yippee! Happy St. Paddy's Day! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;) p.s. Happy Easter to you and yours!!
Response: I think this is the longest comment I ever received :) LASIK is getting better. I have less eye drops to put in now so I'm hoping to be able to wear some makeup next week (the employees might appreciate it). I'm still sad about Brad - I think what makes me more sad is seeing how life goes on yet his social media is frozen in time.
Comment: thanks Sarah
for another fab swap loved the card.
is your husband a MUFC supporter?
im a Liverpool fan..let me know if you like to do another swap soon. Andrea
Response: So glad it arrived :) I signed for yours yesterday so it should be at the house today. I'm staying with my parents in South Carolina while my husband is finishing our wood floors - I will check in with him. And yes - he is a Manchester United fan. We should be going back to visit his family in 2016 and I am so excited to go to some of my favorite shops again.
Comment: thank you for the lovely assortment of chocolates and sweets and all the extras I feel like the queen my favourite hot chocolate such a perfect swap and beautiful fairy card..
I hope you enjoy my swap when you receive it .If you ever want to do another swap please let me know.
Response: That arrived much faster than I expected :) I had a lot of fun picking out candy for you…Enjoy <3
Comment: Thank you so much! When I open this swap I panicked a little. I thought I had misread the swap requirements. I am really about the books you sent. It's a new genre for me so I'm looking forward to digging in.
Response: So sorry for causing a panic attack but I'm glad you liked it :) Thanks for the heart, too.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely cards! You misunderstood the swap though... this was for a written card, not blank ones. But I'll put these to good use anyway =)
Response: I’m only responding to this because the rater’s comment implies that I didn’t follow the swap instructions by choosing not to write in the card. The swap description clearly states: “Senders choice on absolutely everything†as well as “ if you write on/in it or notâ€. If the host wanted the swapper to write inside the card, the swap description should have stated: “You must write inside the card.†I fully believe, based on reading and re-reading the swap description that I followed all of the rules.
Comment: Thank you sooooo much. I loved everything that was included. Specially the sunflower stickers. Its so funny I am getting married and the flowers I had just decided on, were sunflowers. It was extra special receiving that. Thank you very much
Response: Congratulations on your wedding! I love sunflowers, too. I'm glad you liked everything :)
Comment: Never received from this swap, if/when you resend I will rerate.
Received today thank you
Response: Was rated after I contacted her with concerns about not receiving a rating. I have posted a photo of the original and the resend on my Flickr account [Flickr](https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/18527370244/in/datetaken/) and the tracking number for the certified mail resend is 70142120000284760583 with the USPS.
Comment: Thank you so much for the cute card. I love sending cards to children. No child should have to go through so much pain and misery. One of the most fun parts of Swap-Bot is finding someone who enjoys the same things you do. Thanks again.
Comment: Too many cool links! Since I'm sitting in my unmade bed the "10 reasons to make my bed" really hit home. ;-)
I have a board similar to your Oh, The Places We'll Go! and it looks like we both want to head to some unusual spots!
thanks for sharing!
Response: Thanks for hosting the swap. It was fun to see new boards and pins. I'm following yours now, too <3
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card -- I've hung it up on the corkboard on my desk so that I can look at it while I work. I also feel a bit awkward when writing to anyone who shares my name -- it's like I'm writing to myself. Thank you and Happy Valentine's!
Comment: I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved this swap. Not just because everything you sent has brought me intense amounts of joy in the last 48 hours (I received yesterday, I've just been so bogged down with school and work that I couldn't even open my computer T^T) - but because you went WAY above what was expected to let me know that you cared. Sometimes, the kindness of some people shocks me and leaves me absolutely stumped. I wish I could reciprocate in some way. Thank you so much for the best (temporary) farewell to swapping that anyone could ask for and for being such a kind and giving person. I wish you much luck on your trip to England, and I'll think of this swap every time I wear my silky pink socks in front of a toasty fire in Sweden! XD Have a wonderful day, and I truly hope to see you around again! Love, Chels
Response: I'm so glad you liked the swap and glad we were able to do this. I was super happy with everything you picked out too. Would love to swap again in the future with you :)
Comment: Thank you thank you thank you --- I don't know how I'm going to resist opening before Christmas -- I'm worse than any kid out there!! It was oh so sweet of you to include a gift for Miss Sophie -- she is extremely impressed!! Thank you too for the yummy looking recipie it looks really really good =) Happy Holidays!!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful journal. You and I both picked the same decade to be born in so we could experience the 50s! *laugh* If I had a complaint, it would be that I wish you'd written more. Each entry was like a teaser! I wanted to know more! :) It was a darling journal. thanks for sharing!
Comment: Thank you for the fbs. The "friends" fb that you made is very cool...I like how the binding is sewed and the button and string closure is very cute. And thank you so much for the state quarter for our collection!!!
Comment: I loved your letter, especially since it reminded me that I've been meaning to read "The Historian" for ages---and since it's been *out* for ages, it's probably finally off wait-lists at my local library. :D
Comment: Thanks for the cool postcard, Sarah! You're heading MY way, I live in the town next to Bristol, did you know?! Haha! You must be visiting family, 'cuz this sure is not a tourist destination. I'm afraid it's not much cooler up here, we got hit with the humid stick, too, blech!! Enjoy your vacation!! I LOVE MAINE, too!!! ~Cindy
Response: My sister works for ESPN. Looking forward to seeing her and spending time at the family cottage in Maine.
Comment: thanks so much for the tea and notecard1 i feel bad i didnt know that ws the type of notecard it needed to be sent in..... yours outshines mine! lol
I LOVED IT! and i cant wait to try he teas tonight.
Response: I can't believe you got it already! You didn't need to send it in a notecard like mine - I just have those because I LOVE shoes! And pink :)
Comment: I just received your package in the mail today :) Thank you for the very pretty notebook that you made and thank you for the letter that you wrote. I enjoyed reading your thoughts on the book :)
Comment: Great journal :-) You ate lots of fruit! That is the one thing I keep "forgetting" to eat. Although... right now we have locally grown strawberries, so I am enjoying those. And soon... BLUEBERRIES! I agree that it is so hard to eat out. I annoyed many a waitperson while doing the challenge... asking specifics about the food and where it came from and so on. Thank you again for the great journal!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely quilt block and its pattern. I love to make different blocks and try to get as many of the free patterns on the internet. Thanks also for the extra fabric, it will come in handy.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful summertime package! The journal was just what I was looking for and the tea towel made my hubby very happy, along with all the other stuff! lol
Have a great summer!
Comment: While the swap called for sending items for ONE pet, and I mistakenly listed both my cats, you went ahead and sent goodies for both my girls. They're both very happy as they haven't learned how to share yet. Thanks so much!
Response: My own cats won't share so I wouldn't assume yours would! I had fun shopping for them :)
Comment: Sarah, thanks soo much for the Celtic swap items. They are beautiful. We are purchasing our first home on Tuesday and I think I will hang both up in our new home! You did a wonderful job! Thanks soo much and it came so quick!
Response: I'm glad you liked everything. Good luck with your new home. Buying one for the first time is so exciting!
Comment: Thanks so much for the CD. The CD jacket is an artwork all in itself, and I appreciate the effort you went through to explain the significance of the song. Some of the stories made me smile (e.g. the Justin Timberlake explanation made me laugh out loud).
Comment: Thanks for the comment. =) The monkey didn't take too awful long all considered. I just made it look that way (to myself) by working a bit, then setting it aside for days on end. lol If I'd just kept working? Probably 3 days or so.
