Comment: Oh! Jessica! I've been off SwapBot for a very long time - and just realised I never rated you for these - sent 12th February 2008!
I'm so sorry!
I just found them again - my favourite is the one with the e.e. cummings quote, which I had never heard of at the time, but is now one of my favourites! Hugs, hearts and apologies to you, for the latest rating ever!
Comment: Hey Jessica,
What an awesome package. Thanks so much. It was so nice hearing from you. I love everything you sent including the pretty magazine. Good job on the tea caddy too. I wish I could learn to knit. Did you teach yourself? Great selection of my favorite fruit teas too.
I hope you're well. I feel like we haven't communicated in six months. Try to keep in touch. We can be penpals if you're still doing that.I hope you had nice holidays.
Comment: Jessica "happy Christmas to you" my parcel for the teabags arrived but like most tea swaps to Australia I only got a couple of them but that is ok! I know you tried very hard to nmake this a nice swap and it was!! Lee-ann
Comment: Lots of wonderful tea and a lovely note! I hear you on having too many teas -- that's why I do these swaps and send more than the required! Ha! But tea is just so lovely and wonderful -- the package smells amazing! Thank you thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the nice teas and the "portrait of a tea lover: me!" you sent. I got them today and enjoyed reading about your tea addiction, something we certainly have in common. I appreciate learning about your favorites - thanks for sharing!
Comment: :) thanks so much for the advent calendar. I can't wait to open all the giant tea bags you made for me in all my favorite colors! :D I also loved the sparkly crinkle paper you included, too. :) thanks again i love it!
Comment: Thank you so much for all of the great teas you sent...way more than required!!! The Wild Cherry one sounds so yummy...I can't wait to try it!!! You are an awesome swapper!!! "Heart" for you!!!
Comment: Hello Jessica,
I received your ATC you designed and created for me as part of the October Birthday Flower ATC swap. I appreciate the varied materials you used to present the flower. I will be adding your ATC to my special section in my larger ATC collection that will just feature all the birthday months' flowers. It will be a wonderful collection when it is complete. I like the way you send your ATCs, in a special little envelope. I hope we have further encounters on Swap-bot. Hope you are having a wonderful Fall season.
Comment: thank you for nice tea all new for me. Is the CHoice brand doing new teabags? looks I am getting more for the series with the swap and I love this brand, the magnolia oolong tea will be really nice for drinking
Comment: What a delight it was to open your beautifully decorated envelope to find...another clever envelope with terrific shrink charm/magnets inside! Did you use Staz-on ink with your stamps? I tried to make an ATC but it shrank more in one dimension than the other.
Comment: Thank you so much Jessica! I finally got your box and it is so lovely - I appreciated so much the choice of Quentin Blake's drawing on it! And of course I also loved the content, the little lemon sachets look so nice and absolutely new to me. And thanks for the tag teas too, they look so good to try! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you so much for the teas! Magnolia Tea sounds really tasty :D And thanks for the extra yummy loose tea! Do you know what type of flower is? Thanks again! Greetings from Spain.
sorry i edited to say that i looove the envelope you use! :)
Comment: WOW!!! What a delightful (and fragrant) package! I am in tea heaven! Such wonderful, unique selections- I've never tried any of them before! And of course, I am thrilled with the all the cute address labels- I really needed them. Thank you so much for a stellar swap! :D
Comment: The papers etc., you sent me are very fun! I love the handmade paper and the Asian ones especially. And the yarn! I **love** it!!!!!! It is so beautiful!! The colors are so wonderfully subtle. I'm going to use this yarn to make a pair of patterned socks, possibly Lord of the Rings or dragon themed. Thank you so much!
Comment: oh what a wonderful little monster! i especially love the story that Minnie came with too! the tin is so thoughtfully decorated... i love it all! thank you so much! (and i'm so excited to receive something other than tea from you! yay!) great crafting!
Comment: Wow, beautifully packaged, and I tried the Magnolia Oolong this morning - what a pleasant surprise in many aspects! I will bookmark their website for future consideration. The loose variety looks so interesting in texture (not that I plan to be chewing it!) and I appreciate the extra empty bags, as I am unsure as to where I place my reusable muslin bags...how did I do that? They will surprise me at some point I'm sure! Hopefully you will find something interesting to enjoy in my variety, or at least something fun to pass on. Thanks again for giving those poor bags a chance to be enjoyed!
Comment: Wow! What beautiful magnets, and I would never have thought of using the pebbles like that. I have some that I could convert too! Thank you for being such an inspiration. You couldn't have picked a better choice of flower either as daisies are my absolute favourite. Thank you so much for a lovely swap.
Comment: Very nice scan! Good collection of random objects. If I hadn't already printed out my images, I could have some definite fun with the "random objects that live on my craft table" concept! Is that a rock covered in lichen?
Comment: I cannot say enough good things about this package! The tea looks lovely, can't wait to try it! And the Dali envelopes are wonderful! The one of Dali himself is my favorite! Thank you for my wishlist gift! I love my new tea case, its darling! And the magnolia tea sounds neat, I love magnolia trees, they're my favorite! The little bee eraser is too cute, and the rat postage stamp is adorable. Everything is amazing, and it really brightened my day after working in a sweltering greenhouse counting aphids all day. Thank you!
Comment: Oh wow, the box arrived safely, and I just want to dig in and make something "wonderful" with that green yarn ! But, alas, I am forcing myself to finish your tote bag before I do anything else. Should be done soon, I'm liking it so far, and hope you will too. Thank you thank you.
Comment: Thank you for the all the fun tea! It all looks and smells so good! And thank you for the pretty magnet. I received one from you in a previous swap, so now my husband and I won't have to fight over gets the magnet! :-) I love the postcard you sent, too. What a special touch! It is obvious that you put a lot of effort into your swaps. Thank you so much!
Comment: OMG I think I"m in tea heaven. I've never seen so many teas with beautiful names, smells, and I love the packaging. I can't wait to try them all. :) Also thanks for shipping fast. Your item I'm hoping to get by this week and send it soon. -S
Comment: Thanks so much for the variety of teas! I am so excited to try some of them! The flavors seem great! Also, thanks so much for the cute little magnet and the cute little vintage postcard! The tidbit about nursing was great appreciated! I am so nervous about my clinical portion which starts this fall, but I know that I will make it through! My professors from this past semester also asked me to become a tutor for both Anatomy and Physiology and Microbiology, so I must be doing something right!
Thanks again for the amazing package!
Comment: It got here in tact - although only just! i think the postal offices have been playing catch with it!! thanks for the xtra crystal light, have started on them already!! will be interested to try the other lemon/lime sachets in cooking - shall have to find a recipe now just to try it! and i shall be taking the bag shopping tomorrow. thanks xx
Comment: Wow! you're a fast swapper! I love the assortment. I always enjoy trying new things and I have NEVER heard of the blossom! I am anxious to try it out but I'm waiting for a special time so I can show it off to my friends! ... and the IRIS is beautiful! I'm tacking that up so I can keep looking at it.
Also the magnet is Great and already on my fridge! Thank you very much!
Comment: I'm so sorry, I just found a little pile of envelopes that my husband had shoved in a drawer. It was my rating pile! So there are a few things that didn't get rated, including your things! Its not the first time he's done it and its really annoying! Anyway, I wanted to apologise and say thankyou for the lovely tea you sent me. I most wanted to say thankyou for the wonderful magnet, I love it! The handmade envelope you put it all in is all so wonderful. Sorry you had to wait for this rating. :(
Comment: thank you for the nice teas. they smell really good. but the envelope must have gotten wet, because 2 of the bags (the orange Lipton and Numi Ginger Sun) are soggy. maybe extra tape or wrapping in plastic next time? i should do that too, just in case.
Response: Oh, I am so bummed that happened! I'll send you replacements!
Comment: Wow, thanx for this extra-special package! You know it was just about a Magazine? The Fabric is great, and special thanx for the postcard and the sports-mag for my DH! Always a pleasure being your personal Ovomaltine Dealer!

I love loose tea so I'll probably try those first.

Comment: Thank you for the LOOSE TEA! It is my favorite, and I also have mostly Loose! I have been wanting to try TENREN Tea's and STASH is one of my favorite bagged tea companies. So thanks for all the great TEAS!!
Comment: This was by far the best smelling tea package I've ever received! And you were sooo generous and all flavors sound interesting - a great selection. I'm especially excited about the Two Leaves and a Bud Chai. Can't wait to try it - but of course I had to go brush my teeth RIGHT before the mail arrived! I think I'd better wait a little while so I can taste more than toothpaste... Oh and I'm just about as excited about everything else too! I'd love to do a private tea (and profile surprise maybe) swap with you sometime in the future if you're interested!
Comment: Thanks for telling me the many lessons you've learned. I feel close to the med & helping professions, was married to a GP [too busy helping others to be a good partner]. One daughter runs homes for adult handicapped, granddaughter is headed toward medical assistanc...A difficult but SO important field! Hurray for you.
Comment: Thank you for the teas! When I opened up the envelope - oh my what a yummy smell! Oh but it's been a long time since I've had Irish Afternoon tea and it's a brand I haven't seen yet - all the better! Thank you again!
Comment: I wish I could give you more than one heart. This was an *exceptional* package because of the variety and quantity of items. Yes, this will definitely spark my creativity. Thank you SO much!
Comment: I absolutely *adore* the Alice in Wonderland matchbox! It's so beautiful, and I love all of the wonderful goodies inside! The old watch you found in your attic was such a cool touch too - this is a package I will truly treasure. :)
Thanks for the simply lovely teas (Chai with saffron- I feel so special!) and the charming fat little embroidered bird (chickadee?) You are a dear. Thanks, too, for the nifty postage stamp. :)

Comment: Thanks for sending me a load of vintage items, I especially liked the trees you cut out. I am going to decoupage it soon. I really appreciate you taking out the time to send a package that fit me perfectly, thank you... Mona
Comment: It is hard to accept the stricter cultural climate of the former Soviet Union, but unfortunately they didn't have a government that believed in individual rights and freedoms like ours. Thank you for the postcard.
Comment: I love the 3 Origami that you made!!!!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the swap. Please let me know what you got from your swap partner after it arrives. When you get a chance.
The best swap arrival ever. It cheered me up.
Comment: Oh Jessica, where on Earth did you get those. The Roobious and Chocolate one smell so wonderful I wish they came in a perfume and room fragrance! I appreciated the way you had the descriptions. I also loved the magnet for my refrigerator which can always use one more. I can't thank you enough!

Comment: It's good to hear from you again! The Stash teas from india look great. I will have to keep my eye pealed for them. I assume they came in a multi-flavor pack. They would be perfect for the advent tea calendars that I am starting to put together.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I absolutely LOVE this painting, and it's interesting that you made the comment about the culture of women, because I am taking a Gender and Society of Ancient Greece course right now, and that totally ties in. However, if this were a painting from Ancient Greece it would show a very negative side of women, as women were not expected to laze about and socialize all day. They were to weave and take care of matters around the home. Thank you for the postcard. :)
Comment: Thanks!! Yes--go silver power!!! The ONLY reason I have any color over mine right now is cause I had to give up and color it in order to get this low-paying job after over 6 months of job hunting!!! The last time I had trouble getting a new job (about 6 years ago) I colored it and got hired within a week--then it happened again this time!! Anyway, within the next month it will have faded off and I'll be happy with my silver again!!
Comment: wow. thanks for the descriptive letter about your commute and the great audio book for my own commute! i travel 2 hours one way 2X a week and LOVE talk radio and books on tape, as i call them, even though i have a cd player. am reading a great time novel right now and look forward to catching up on the characters in the one you sent me which i have not yet read!
Comment: Thank-you Jessie for adding the container. It's the same as I had when I was in Oregon and gave it to a friend of mines son. So happy to finally have some fimo again. And for adding the extra for my purse that was just so sweet! Thanks, Connie
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely Panamanian Mola. I love it! I know exactly where I'm going to use it. It's very thoughtful of you to print out the story & history I love that sort of information (I was a history/anthropology major as an undergrad)!
Comment: Thanks so much for all the lovely papers and embellishments that you sent for me to work with. (I'm just very pleased that you didn't send me yarn or fabric or anything like that!) I am so sorry this rating is so late - but at least its a good one right? :p Thanks for the lovely comment on my profile too and I'm glad that you like everything that I made for you.
Comment: Hi Jessica! i LOVE this Dali quote! So true. I am going to pass this along to my fiance, he definitely needs to hear this (he's a great artist and is always throwing out his work saying it's not good enough).
i just moved from near TJ... but i grew up in the midlothian area so i went to Manchester High class of '98 for me. (We bought a house so i meandered back to the 'burbs)
I love the plastic items you sent me....The key chain is super and the magnet ran over and jumped onto my fridge. Thank you so much! I enjoyed this swap, although I also found it difficult.
Comment: What a lovely package! But as soon as I opened it, one thought came to mind; BERRIES?!?! Luckily they survived the postal system ;). The Pure Maple Syrup Candy was deliciously sweet, I ate it straight away. Thank you for a delightful package, and few good articles to read too :D
Comment: Jessica sent a cool, thoughtful swap for the "you've got to be kind" swap. I loved it!
Response: So glad you liked it - I figured, planning a wedding, that means not much time to read books, but there's always time to listen to them in the car; and why not something that helps understand who you're getting hitched to. Good luck with your wedding!

I can be quite forgetful sometimes. I've gotten your package and it was awesome. You made me fall in love with Orange Tea and the beading articles was really awesome :D
Comment: Thanks! I love the thoughtfulness that went into this. I can not WAIT to try to make this paper hot air baloon... reading a story about a kid who made paper flying balloons is what first got me interested in them so it was perfect. loved everything!
Comment: Love the tres cute crabbie socks! :D (I even wore them the other day in lieu of sandals around the apartment ... that proves I like them! ;)) And there was a pretty postcard in the package, too -- thank you kindly!
