Comment: Thank you so much for sharing! That red barn in your backyard is so cute. I bet it feels great to have all that work done. I have never heard of a Strawflower before, but I love the pic of it! All of your flowers are simply gorgeous. The horses enjoying the fans were great pics too.
Comment: You really outdid yourself this month! I am in awe of everything you shared… Your girls are so talented and I am excited for all they are doing. The origami necklace was something I had never seen before, but I just love it! And I sure hope that your back is feeling better. Congratulations to Sophia ❤️
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing! I always love reading about your lovely family. The first picture is my favorite; such a great moment! I hope you are feeling better after your hospital stay! That must have been a scary experience.
Comment: Thank you for sharing. 💕 I'm always happy to receive your swap, especially concerning your homeschool children. That opens my mind on how happy homeschool student is, and the parents could benefit from it too. They all look happy, creative, and have something get done, not the usual textbook in most regular school. Of course it's not easy task to do, and depends on the "teacher" and students. So glad you do well :)
Comment: Lovely pictures. Loved the eagle, the snowy pics, the horses, the scarf, everything. :)
Great job on the puzzle. That sounds like fun. I don't think there are any puzzle competitions in my town. Thanks for sharing.
Comment: Thank you for sharing! I'm familiar with how frustrating a flooded pasture can be! I hope it dries up for you quickly. Your house looks so cozy, and I like the picture of the dog looking out the window.
Comment: Your snowflakes are so pretty! And I’ve seen similar candle-powered items like your advent scene, and it didn’t work quite right either! Maybe our air quality changed or something. Hope you and your family have a Happy and Healthy New Year!
Comment: Sorry, I got home very late last night... Today was better though and I really enjoyed reading about your November. I liked all the photos of all the activities you and your family went on over the month and the paper stars look like something I could maybe try myself.
Comment: Wow, your family is amazing! You seem to do a lot to help others in need. I think we need more people like you in the world. :) Thank you so much for sharing your pictures; that puzzle looks huge!
Comment: I enjoyed reading a bout your month so much! I love doing crafts so it was nice to see you guys' leather works and the weaving! I'm hoping I can get a rug done at work by Christmas, we have a whole classroom of looms I'm itching to take advantage of those! My dad is in the local Lions chart in our city, it's always nice to see other Lions across the world :) great job with all the volunteering as well♡
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing with me. This has been very motivating and I am anxious to do more. We are doing a big change over at work that won't be finished until the 18th, and I haven't had the time available but I plan to do still more.
Comment: I just love all of your photos! The music at the Humane Society sounds very interesting. You and your family seem like very wonderful and giving people. The 4-H pictures really took me back to when I was in 4-H for horses, and showing at the fair. Thank you so much for sharing!
Comment: All the best for the event, organizing things is a hassle but it always pays in the end :) I love Aspen, what a brace doggie and you're amazing for adopting her! I could watch cloud photos all day long so thanks for including a bunch! I also loved the story behind the bathroom set, I can understand it has a lot of sentimental value :)
Comment: I loved reading your thoughts about the book. I'm younger than you, grew up in early 90s but I too remember playing house in the forest, pretending to have stables and horses etc. Seeing my 6 year old niece with an iPad for play time kinda makes me sad but I guess the world is moving on :) thanks for making me smile though!
Comment: Oh my goodness - beautiful journal of your month through photos - I enjoyed your swap so much :) I hope your home projects go smoothly and that everything gets put back together and rebuilt. What a blessing to have those old photos. Thanks for sharing them!
Comment: Wow! So much happened in May for you! And I legit squealed when I saw a Wisconsin waterfall! I was born and raised in northern Wisconsin, so love seeing my state of birth in pictures now. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: A very inspiring blogpost, thank you for sharing. I hope everything will turn out fine after the fire. You are so inspiring, that even with such a loss, you still do good for other communities in Africa and adoption dogs.
Comment: I really enjoyed your swap, Ann. That's a lovely memory to have of your grandparents. And it's interesting to me that you had a grandpa and step-grandma on your father's side, because I had a grandpa and step-grandma on my father's side, too! :-) Also, is it just how the photos were shot, or is Cooper's head about the size of Scooby's body? :-) Thank you so much for sharing! :-) <3
Comment: You've had a lovely month! I went to see Black Pnather with some frineds as well :) It was quite amazing! don't really have women only-schools in Finland but it seems like a wonderful place to get maybe a bit of a different world view from the female point! I love the window star, your dog is so cute and I love that FINALLY spring is coming and everything seems just a little sunnier and happier :) Thanks for sharing!
Comment: What a fun board to look through! I saw several fun sewing projects and I love the little getaway/nook ideas too. Also, those sweet potato fries look fabulous! May try those today! Thanks for sharing 😊
Comment: Hi Ann! Thank you so much for the lovely share and the pcs! Your answers were very well thought out, so I know this had to take you some time, as well as you including photos along the way! What a wonderful piece of Happy Mail! Wish I could give you more than one heart! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: You have some great goals for the year and I really hope you get to do memory making days with your daughters. The tea parties are something we do with the ladies in my family. It started in 2000 after my grandpa died and it was something we do on mothers day. We invite close friends (more like adopted family) who's children are not close, to spend the day with us. I'm glad we started it, since we have lost a few ladies in these 18 years, and those memories our so important
Response: Thank you for your encouragement as well as sharing your experience about the tea parties. That is such a great idea! The memories that you have from the past 17 years would be so touching to have and remember. I wish we had started earlier with doing tea parties, but it certainly isn't too late to begin. New traditions can start at any time! Hope you have a great New Year!
Comment: Thank you for the pc!! I'm glad you've been enjoying your garden! Unfortunately, ours didn't do so well -- I'm not complaining, but we had a cool summer that didn't get really hot until 2 weeks ago, so the garden didn't really flourish :( I'm hoping the grapes, at least, will do well :)
Comment: Hi there--Thanks for the MN map PC! My 5-yr-old is working on the US map now--learning to recognize the states by their shape and location on the map, so these map PCs certainly come in handy! Thanks for hosting an awesome swap!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful treasure-trove of mail art goodness! I love everything, and I am especially intrigued by the sewn-in letters. I think making some of those is definitely in my future. Thanks, again.
Comment: Truly an excellent short story. We both used the same fortune cookie and both did a holiday themed short story (so we were of one mind in that regard). This story is more than a fine read as is, but you could have even expanded on this one. Was definitely an enjoyable read.
Comment: Ann, I always love to get your explanations of your journal quilts -- you put so much of your life into. I can understand that you feel you just can't do it for December but I hope you'll be able to do a December quilt at some point so you'll have a whole year.
Comment: Thanks for the very thoughtful description of youthful ambitions and more grown up decisions. I'm sure some day you will choose one of those "working vacations" [to use an oxymoron] where you go on an archeological dig. I've seen some ancient cities, Roman Forum, Minos, Luxor, Machu PIchu and such, it's very wonderful.
Comment: Thank you for all the links and info. I wish I lived so close to thebeach. I would be there every day. I would just love a beach hut but don't know anywhere in Scotland to find them. Happy Christmas to you and your family.
Response: I think this rating may be for another person since I live right in the middle of the U.S. and, unfortunately, not close to a beach. I could use some much warmer weather now...after a day of freezing rain and snow!
Comment: That is quite an amazing list! Though my family doesn't celebrate as long or alot of the same things, I got plenty of ideas that we could incorporate this year and past x-mas. My favorite I think is the sheet fort and the christmas reading. Or and the picnic in fron of the tree. They're easy and simple ideas, but they hold so much warmth in them. I love it! Thanks for sharing your awesome list. ^-^
Comment: Absolutely love your club package! I especially enjoyed the newsletter, which has a beautiful layout & is filled with interesting stuff. I really hope the club takes off, in your Etsy store. :)
Comment: Your quilt was very nice, colorful and meaningful. I love the letter you sent with all of the detail. Congratulations on putting so much into your quilt. I am impressed!!! I can tell that is was a labor of love and it represented so very much! Thank you for sharing it with me! I absolutely love the font you used in the writing of your letter! Can you tell me what font that is?
Comment: I always love to get your journal quilt explanations -- you pack so much into your quilts and I can see that they will be valuable reminders to you in years to come. I very muchlike this quilt --the colors are all just right, that blue in the background is a great fabric but everything else is well chosen too.
Comment: I always enjoy how you work so much into your quilts and reading your diary-like letters. You are the THIRD swapper who's written about de-cluttering in the last few weeks. Your positive/negative take on all the things that have come up is balanced . Thanks for sharing so much of your life in these quilts and letters.
Comment: I adored your felt owl when I saw him on the swap-bot home page, so I was super excited when he appeared in my mailbox! He is so sweet! Thank you so much! I've been wanting to try my hand at felt-work, and you have inspired me to make it happen. I enjoyed looking at all your work, and checked out your shop too. I might have to snatch something from your Etsy site too. You have lot's of nice stuff....
Relatively speaking, we're almost neighbors. Although I wish I lived in YOUR neck of the woods. (I used to live on that end of town, and LOVED it. Lucky you!) Hope to swap again soon. I'm glad you are able to make time for crafting again! Thanks again!
Comment: Hi Ann. Thanks for the beautiful postcard of Minnesota and all the tidbits about your wonderful state. I've never been there but did make it to Michigan for the first time this summer. I went for work training and we all fell in love with the fireflies. I'll send you a note soon. Happy fall - Carol
Comment: Hello Ann, Thank you for the very interesting , fact filled card and also that it is a mapcard..I would not mind keeping in touch, but when you write again, the writing must be larger.. I had to use my magnifier to read the card. My cousin will be working in Minneapolis very soon...AGAIN
Comment: Thank you for such a wonderful mail art therapy package! I especially love the container as Machins are my favourite stamps; and your mini zine was very interesting - your ATCs look cool! Thanks for a fun swap. :)
Comment: The people near me in the library are probably wondering why I'm sitting here crying as I type on the computer. Thank you for sharing that story.
Response: You're welcome. It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the different fortune options. It was good for me to be able to write about the experience; and appreciate your kind comments about it.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard and the note about Hummingbirds. I try to keep my feeders full for the cute little birds to be able to feed regularly.
Response: You're welcome. I wish we had hummingbirds year-round here. However, their brief appearance in late-summer and early-fall make spotting them at the feeder even more special. They're such beautiful and fascinating birds.
Comment: thank you ann! i enjoyed reading the zines, tho if i had a magnifier handy, i wouldn't have squinted as much, lol. :) mary ann
Response: Thanks...I'm glad you enjoyed reading them. I wish I could make the type larger...or maybe I need to put less information and/or pictures on each page. I'm still learning...hopefully they'll continue to improve.
Comment: Your place sounds lovely - even in a storm! Thanks for the great read.
Response: You're welcome. I ended up reading the story aloud to my daughters who also enjoyed listening to the experience again...despite it being such a scary one. If you'd like to see pictures of where I wrote from, you can visit my Flickr site at http://www.flickr.com/photos/picturesbyann . You can search within my site for "farm" or "backyard" or "pasture" - depending on what you want to see.
Comment: I haven't had a chance to read it as I just now received it but I will rate again or send you a note when I have. I'm anxious to see what you've come up with :)
update: I like it a lot! well done :) it's a nice little story
Response: Thanks for the feedback and heart! I'm glad you enjoyed reading the story. It's been good to get some experiences like these written.
Comment: oh these are just BEAUTIFUL! i have heard of that packing tape transfer method, but have not yet tried it...your great creations have inspired me to do so! Thank you so very much for all of the work and thought that went into making these unique magnets for me! They will DEF get used! Happy swapping!
Comment: Looks very dilicious! Thank you :)
And did the tornado come? We never have tornado's here in the Netherlands. It sounds scary to me...
Response: Thankfully, there was no tornado. However there was really heavy rain (I couldn't even see the next door neighbor's home), very strong winds, and lots of lightening. The mudroom roof started leaking and about half the floor was covered with water, so there was damage to the home. Have to do some calling today to figure out how to repair the roof.
Comment: Thanks Ann. Your journal quilt is great and, as always you have worked a ton of meaning into your work -- I love the monthly accounting of incidents. keep on working on French knots, I love making them and they' so useful.
Comment: Your email was wonderful to read (and great pictures, too), I loved hearing about your daughters' reactions to your various baking projects, and I'm eager to try those Top Dog corn muffins. I love corn muffins with stuff in them, I sometimes make them with salsa and cheese or sausage.
Comment: What a touching email. I'm so inspired by people like you that are taking it upon yourself to do good and more importantly pass this along to your loved ones and future generations. Thanks so much!
Comment: Thank you for sharing your quilt. It's so beautiful -I love the colours, the words and all the meaning you've sewn into it. Thank you for your detailed explanation as well. "Forever Young" is a special song to me as well - my father read it as a blessing at my son's naming celebration so I love this quilt for that reason as well!
Comment: Thanks for the intricate origami window star. I really like it. Thank you for reading my profile too and including some thing I can use in my own crafting. I love receiving something I would not think of myself. Something that uses different skills to what I have done. Thanks
Comment: Hi Ann! Wow! You could write a book with all those recipes! You must have the frugal-est home in the USA! :) heheThanks for all the wonderful ideas; I can't wait to try them out! Happy swapping!
Comment: they are the best fb's i have ever seen, you daughters did a great job.
Response: They did. I glued the paper to the cardboard to make the book, and stapled the pages in for them. They picked out the paper for the book, the envelopes, and then decorated the books themselves. They were so happy with what they created, and want to make more books.
Comment: Ann, the package was just awesome! I loved reading about you and your family, it sounds like you have a wonderful life. I can't wait to try the recipes (if I can find any canned pumpkin, due to the shortage). And lastly the pumpkins, they are soooo cute, I may have to see if I can come up with a pattern to make more, for friends. Thanks again-have a great fall season.
Response: I'm so happy that you liked everything. I do more hand sewing than machine sewing, so the pumpkins were something that were fun and challenging to make. Thanks for the nice comments and rating!
Comment: Hi, Ann! First of all, I'd like you to know my 10 months daughter is Ann too. In portuguese we say Ana. Hey, I loved to read your curiosities about 9-9-9. I can see you have done your homework deeply!
Great state postcard! One more to my collection! I think each US state must have a postcard, right?
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful ornament it is just gorgeous! What a great job you did hand sewing it! I did not know the story behind the poinsettia so the information was quite enlightening. Thank you also for the extras, I am gaining weight just reading these yummy recipes. Anna
Comment: What beautiful postcards that you made! Thank you so much for reading my profile and making me vintage postcards, I just love the designs and I am thinking these have a new home and will not be mailed :) Anna
p.s. thank you for the extras too...
Comment: 5 Star swap partner. I'm looking forward to visiting your blog again. Thank you for being so understanding & patient. I look forward to swapping with you in the future.
Comment: Thank you for your nice comments! I hearted your Etsy store as well, I have a little crush on your mushrooms! Funny - I just started making felt ornaments for Christmas gifts - I like to start early. I appreciate you listing your Swap-bot name, that helped! Thanks for "playing" - Andi
Comment: Thanks for the sweet ornament! I love the blue and the motif. Also, the salad recipe is intriguing, I think I'll try it next June when I can get asparagus and strawberries at my farmer's market.
Comment: Thank you very much for the lovely postcards. I will definately use them. I am very grateful for the gorgeous felt. It is such a creamy colour and Lewis already wants to make the banana bread.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful ideas, traditions and really yummy sounding Christmas Berry Asparagus Salad! I love the two craft patterns for the felted wool wreath and the felt Christmas tree. Your house must be very magical at Christmas with all those window decorations! Finally thank you for the poems. Anna
Comment: Thank you for a really cute button wreath, just my style and I can't wait to hang it on the tree! The suncatching star is also beautiful - so creative - at first I thought it was stunningly simple but it is so layered and complex when held to the light - WOW!. You are a such a generous swapper and deserve way more hearts! Take care, thanks again and all the best from Kim x
Comment: what a treat to open the envie! two beautiful chunky pages and lovely fabric but the 'best' are the sequins: I can't get those shapes and colors here. So thank you very much for this great package :-)
Comment: Thank you so, so much for the lovely package! I adore the felt purse, so beautifully embroidered, and the cherry blossom ornament. The pattern is great, as is the cherry blossom muffin recipe! Yum! A beautiful swap.
Comment: I am wild about cherries. The needlebook is exceptionally well made. Thanks for reading my profile and sending the extras. The star is very pretty and the paper it is made from is very interesting. Can you tell me what type of paper it is?
Comment: Thanks so much for the very beautiful Altered tin you made for me! The fairy art is just so pretty and the inside with the molded face and matchbook mini books make it even more special! Thanks also for the cute fairies and other embellishments you sent! This was such a nice swap and you really made my day bright! Thanks again, love and peace mary
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful swap! I loved the pop-up card PDF as well as the hand-made hibiscus cards, the recipes and the transfer. I love everything! I have tried making hibiscus tea according to the recipe, and it was delicious. Also, I apologize about the delay in rating, the envelope got misplaced unfortunately, but all is well now. Take care, and thank you again! :-)
Comment: Thank you so much, I absolutely adore my Russian Doll bookmark!! You have inspired me to try a new carft after seeing this adorable boomark you have created for me. Thank you for the extra goodies too!
Comment: Ann, the house you made is very cute. I set it next to the first house. Now that there are two I actually have a row. Thank you for the xmas fabric. I do like that print. If I could get off swap bot I would finish more quilts. Thanks for swapping.
Comment: Ann, thank you so much for the wonderful letter - I loved peeking into your life. You're an inspiration! I really enjoyed seeing the crafts you and your lucky girls get into as well, and of course the Valentine is precious. thanks for sharing! :OD
Response: Thank you for your kind words. It was my pleasure to swap with you.
Comment: That is really an awesome ATC, she did a very good job. She should definitely continue. Can't wait to show it to my grand children. I'm sure they will be inspired.
Response: Sophia enjoyed making the ATC and loves trading with other children. It's been a great way for her to create art while connecting with others throughout the world. (A good geography lesson!) Have a great day!
Comment: OH MY GOSH!!! what an amazing box!!! THANK YOU!! I can't beleive that what you did! The food looks real.hahaha.. and so much!! I'm full looking at it. Thank you for the recipes from your grandmother, that was so sweet! You totally rock!
Response: I'm so happy that you like it. I had a lot of fun thinking of a menu and then creating the food for you. It was my pleasure to make everything for you!
Comment: My purple "t" with the embroidered flowers is lovely - thank you! Hugs, Terry
**Update Jan. 12**: My apologies for forgetting to also thank you for the family recipes you shared with me - they look absolutely yummy! Thank you!
Comment: I got my package today and the window stars are beautiful. Thank you for the two small extra one. The sheep are so cute, I cant wait to put them on my tree! Thanks again! PS, I'm trying to give you a heart but SB won't cooperate.
Comment: WOW..What a wonderful atc form Ms.Sophia, she did a great job..I signed up for this swap so my grandson Jesse could swap , but I think we may have some trouble over who gets this card..I want it too...I really really loved your story and I have it my collection book for future inspiration...As I was very inspired and touched by your note,,I don't think anything has more healing and spiritual power than the horse, I admire both of you for what you are doing...Keep up the good work and email me anytime you want to talk...I Thank you both with a sincere heart
Comment: Thank you thank you thank you! I love the felty star ornament; it is so creative =] And the stamps are fantastic! I've been stuck on this one ATC I have been trying to make, an Eiffel Tower theme, and I *really* wanted a PINK stamp from France for it - and I got one in your package! Perfect timing, this was a wonderful swap =] Thanks again!
Response: It was such a pleasure making the sewn/embroidered star just for you. Happy to hear that the stamps can be used...and one fit the card you were working on!
Comment: Hi Ann, Thanks so much for the great ATC"s!! I loved them. Where did you get the great paper you used for the vintage image that you painted? I thouht it was so unique! Thanks also for the extra paper! I can't wait until I use it!! Thanks again! Nancy (grannystamper)
Response: The base paper is watercolor paper that I painted myself using a wet-on-wet watercolor technique. The paper can be purchased at Michaels. The vintage images are printed out from a Dover publication. Another person on Swap-bot sent them to me through the Wishlist group since I was looking for vintage images. She sent such a wide variety of vintage pictures that were fun to work with. Happy that you liked everything.
Comment: You made some lovely ATC's for me. Thank you for the lace. I like the photograph of the red flower very much!
Response: Thank you for the nice comments about the sashiko ATCs and lace. Hope you can use it! A friend of mine took the picture of the flower. I think she does such a nice job capturing the beauty of flowers.
Comment: Your children did a wonderful job! So nice. I don't think I could have done better. My boys loved them. Thank you all so much for sharing your art with us. Thank you so much for my goodie too!
Response: My daughters had so much fun making the ATCs for your boys. Am happy that everyone likes what they received!
Comment: Wow, i received my first button fairy and she is GORGEOUS , thanks so much for her, she is going to be treasured :), also thanks for the x-stitch kit, i will make it it tonight while the baby is sleeping
thanks for a great swap
Response: Thanks! Making button fairies for this swap was my first attempt at them. They were a fun challenge. Glad you liked the cross-stitch kit as well.
Comment: I love the heart ornament - so clever! Thanks for the lovely extras too :)
Response: Thanks! The Swedish heart baskets are commonly seen around here and are made from red and white paper (the town I live was founded by Swedish immigrants). Wanted to try making a felt version of the baskets and enclosing them. It was a fun challenge!
Comment: I love the cards. The pictures did not do them justice. Thanks for the great swap!
Response: Glad to hear the cards arrived and that you like both of them. I've really enjoyed making the interactive ATCs...particularly the finger puppet ones and ones with doors that open. Let me know if you ever want to do another swap again!
Comment: Hi Ann, I Love the Dotee Doll and the soap recipes. Thanks so very much. Great work. Your rating is 5+heart. Hugs, Char:)
Response: It was nice to see your name come up again (I had made the fairy dotee for you as well)! I remember making handmade soap here at the farm many years ago when I was running a non-profit organization. There's just no comparison between handmade soap and store-bought is there? I'm sure your house smells wonderful all year long!
Comment: Got my Matchbox today!!! I just love it!! thank you so much for making it for me!! Very nice work!! And I love all the red goodies inside!!! =D
Response: That was the first matchbox I made...so I'm especially happy to know that you like it. It was fun looking at your profile and trying to figure out things that you could use. I think I'm addicted to making these little matchboxes now.
Comment: Very sweet inchies! They are going to be magnets... well, not the candy cane... that is going to be a charm. Now I want to have an alphabet inchie charm bracelet. I would never have thought of that if you hadn't sent the fabric inchie. It's all your fault :-) And thank you for the sweet extras. I am always needing notecards. I send about 30 notes a week to strangers 'round the world. The little baby feet, though... that's going to my daughter... my granddaughter just started walking.
Response: What a great idea (to make an alphabet inchie charm bracelet). Happy to hear that you could use the notecards.
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome ATC! I have never received one like that before and the way you made it into a finger puppet is so cool! I also love the tea, especially the Chinese ones :-)
Response: I'm so happy you like the unicorn ATC. I've just started making the finger puppet ATCs and really enjoy doing them. If you go to my Flickr site, you'll see other ones I've made. I'm at http://www.flickr.com/photos/picturesbyann . You can search for "puppet" or "finger puppet" and the different ones will come up for you. Thought you'd like the extra surprise of the teas...especially with the Olympics starting tomorrow.
Comment: I LOVE your list. Number 21 is called "You Raise Me Up" by Westlife, it played at my son's Christening! I can't wait to try the recipes, especially the Banana Sundae Dessert!
Response: Thank you for letting me know what the name of the song was. It was such a beautiful one...I can see why you chose it for son's Christening. The banana sundae dessert is a family favorite. Hope you like it!
Comment: Yours was the very first whimsy jar I have ever received. Probably because this is the first whimsy swap I have been in. Anyway it was great. Thank you for paying attention to my profile I really appreciate that. I loved everything. I think I could easily become addicted to whimsy jars. Thanks again, Mary.
Response: The one I received through this swap was the first one I received too. It was so fun putting yours together. I'm glad you liked it.
Comment: Thank you so much for the stuff you sent. It is really helpful and I know I will enjoy the puzzles, plus making the recipes will be fun!. Also, thank you for not sending items I wouldn't like according to my profile. It means a lot when someone looks at your profile and abides by it. Hope to swap with you again sometime:)
Response: It was my pleasure. I liked finding the different things that you could do. Hope you enjoy the activities this month!
Comment: thanks for the great swap. the extras were very thoughtful. I appreciate that you took the time to review my profile and sent many things I just love.....annette
Response: You're welcome. You left a comment also on my profile about doing a private swap or corresponding. Would enjoy that. Let me know what your thoughts are. I'm having surgery on Tuesday, August 5th and will be out for a bit recovering. So, if I don't respond right away, I will. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Comment: Oh Ann, what a truly wondrous life you lead. I am totally thrilled to have received your letter. And the ladybug notecard added in was too special, thank you. Letter being returned ASAP. Thanks again!
Response: Thank you...I'm happy you enjoyed reading it. Glad you liked the extra surprise. Have a great day!
Comment: thanks a lot! loved the detailed tour. and i totally fell for the felt house!!! :))
Response: The felt house one of my top favorite ones as well. Enjoyed creating the mosaic and reviewing all the creative work on Flickr. It's amazing the level of creativity and artistry...very inspiring!
Comment: Ann, I love the woven pattern on this Christmas ATC "present"! Thanks for all the stickers. I like the fall ones and the Christian ones and I'll be sure to share the others with "my kids". Thanks so much!
Response: That was the smallest weaving I've ever done. It's challenging working on such a small scale with ATCs. Glad you can use the stickers...from your profile it looked like they would come in handy.
Comment: Absolutely wonderful ATCs! I like how you used different styles on them. it's very cool how you incorporated your sheep's wool in the spring ATC. Thanks for the postcards, too.
Response: I'm so happy you like them. They were fun to make - especially the spring one (the needlefelted ATC that you mentioned) and the summer one (the one with the packing tape transfer of the moose and moss for the grass).
