Comment: Thank you so much for everything. You should get 10000 hearts for sure. My cats are going super super crazy over all the mice and long the long mouse too. The treats are really different then what we get here. They all got a treat and love both. Your truly special and sweet.
Comment: Hi Deema! How fun that you put up Christmas decorations! We have our big tree up this year as all the kids will be home but so far it only has lights and garland on it - oops! Mom needs to stop swapping and start decorating! LOL! My current mantra is, it will get done, it will get done! LOL! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the adorable card! I'm jealous you got your doggies to sit for their Christmas picture! Mine tried to take a nap and fluff the rug around Santa Paws... Silly pups! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! I know you wrote about how you love fall, and it's probably winter now (which I'm super jelly about because it's perpetual summer here!) but I'm glad it arrived nevertheless
Comment: Sounds like you had a great weekend. We have a program here where they put tags on a Christmas trees in different stores, and it tells you if a boy or girl and age group. You pick which tag you want, so if you want to buy for a boy age 9 you take that tag go buy your gift and attach tag to the gift and drop it off. We don't buy gifts for adults in our family and only have two grandchildren, so it has become ours and one of our daughters tradition that we donate to other families/organizations, be gifts or food. Our daughters boyfriend family still buys gifts for each other and he is trying to convince his parts rather then buy a gift for him to make a donation as well, so far they haven't done it, but he keeps asking them too.
Comment: Fundygirl, I received the yoga swan postcard and laughed out loud. It seems we share several common loves: I always sleep best if there is rain and a bit of thunder rumbling. And just judging by the names and the breeds, Henry and Lucy sound like they would be great fun to be around! Like that couple that you really HAVE to invite to the party because they make everything more fun...
Comment: Apparently the journal arrived yesterday and sat outside my door all night! 🙄 Husband brought it in this afternoon. Working on it tonight â˜ºï¸ Set up the next one when ever you are ready 💋
Comment: Dear Deema,
I know that you have sent the postcard. But I am so sorry that the card seems to be lost :'-( I hope that it is just still on its way and will appear someday! Thank you so much for sending it though! Happy swapping!
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful Cali Desert card! My dad was stationed in Barstow when I was a kid and this card brings back a lot of fun memories for me! I love the Camus quote too, and I do think that fall gives the leaves their time to be appreciated like flowers are in spring.
Comment: Thanks so much for the profile love! <3 My middle name is actually Rose and it's one of my favorite flowers, so great job! :) I have had a pretty good weekend, other than working! I hope this finds you happy & well! <3
Comment: Dearest Lucy, I wish I could give you and your hu-mom all of the hearts and stars! I absolutely loved your sweet, funny, thoughtful letter, which gave me a peek into your daily life with your pack family. I also love dogs, but I can only have one cat right now. I'd love to have an animal sanctuary if I ever won the lottery :) Thank you also for the adorably decorated envelope and hilarious cat/dog joke postcard! Sending you and your bro-fur hugs ♥♥♥
Comment: Love the owl notecard! We did indeed have a great time at Disney World and are already planning our next trip. I have also been to Disneyland several times because we used to live in Paramount California. Both parks are awesome!
Comment: Thanks for the cute card and the stickers. It "cooled down" ha ha here for a few days, but now it's in the 90s again for a bit. Great to hear from you again. Hope you have a fun weekend planned. Karen
Comment: Hello Deema,
Thank you for the creative postcard you sent for this swap. I like how you divided your postcard up and how you colored your first boxed area. I look forward to coloring the next space.
Comment: Hi Deema! thank you for your awesome envie as I really loved seeing what you created, am so happy to see what you are doing as you are onto something there! Thank you for your neat note too. I’m so happy you have a job you love and that you enjoy being creative and that you like to send pretty mail. As you know we need people to do these kinds of things in the world because so many people don’t have much hope for the world being w beautiful place right now. You too, are giving something wonderful to just whomever is lucky enough to have you as a swap partner! I wanted to acknowledge your desire to give people your mail art! Beautiful! You graced my day today and yes I am doing WELL!
Comment: Thanks so much for the card! What a cool and interesting looking place - do you have any idea where it is? (I love the Hunger Games Trilogy, too, though wasn't as crazy as the last one as the first two....)
Comment: Greetings from Illinois Again🌻
Thank you for the pansies PC. A favorite flower of mine. I liked the Nataullis postage stamp too. It goes in my collection too.
Thank for for being my partner again.
Smoke out your way, heat & humidity here, flooding down south...Lord I'm just thankful today for the small things in life.
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful postcard! I've been to Seattle once and Oregon once! Both are beautiful. I am trying to get my daughter to move up there and get out of SF! I do love nature! Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Comment: Received your postcard today, thank you very much. We were travelling through Carolina one year and came across the "other" Prince George 😂😂. Haven't seen much of the sun this summer, had to leave BC to get a glimpse of it. Don't think the fall will fix the 🔥 problems in BC, its going to take winter â„ï¸ to put them out, but I hoping it'll be a short winter and a better summer next year 😀😎!
Comment: Reading your list made me feel right at home because we have so many happy thoughts in common. My favourite right now is #81 - an icy cold Coca-Cola. And you love iCarly, as do I. It was a guilty pleasure to sit down with the kids and watch it "for them" but boy, does Spencer make me laugh. There are about 45 others I could comment on, but just know that I TOTALLY GET YOU and you rock. All the hearts!!!
Comment: Loved the postcard, loved the quote, and loved the stickers you used...where oh where did you find those? Bye, I once had a cat named Dusty who looked quite the the one on the front of the pc!
Response: Thanks! I got the stickers from pipsticks.com. I love their stickers.
Comment: Hi Deema ~ My son deals with anxiety and depression too. Thank you for that. I would like to learn more about painting rocks and hiding them. It sounds like fun. I have read a little bit about it on line.
Comment: What a great card, and a great memory! Thank you for sharing a piece of happiness with my! (And I swear I've updated my profile to say that the wedding will happen next summer...maybe it didn't take).
Comment: You did an awesome job. I love it. Best coloring I have seen so far. How did you do the area around the turtle? It looks like ink, or it could be water color. I never thought to use either one. I just use gel pens. Good job.
Response: Thank you! I used some ink pads and a blending tool to do the area around the turtle. I used a couple different shades of blue to create the look. I'm glad you liked it.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful postcard. I was pleasantly surprised to receive it so soon :) I really liked the front of the postcard & learning the origin of the scarf & the history. I learned something new :)
Comment: Thank you, again, for a beautiful ATC!!! xo
Response: I was unaware that my card didn't reach it's destination. Although it still might since you are in Canada and mail takes awhile to cross the boarder. But regardless, I have sent a new one out this morning.
Comment: I love the butterflies (you must have read my profile) along with the required clock. The background paper works so well with the clocks and butterflies. Also, what a clever little notecard you included, made from a 3x5 note card. The decorating wouldn't take long and results in an inexpensive but pretty, personal touch to your swap packet. Thanks so much and I hope you are having a good week-end!
Comment: Hello Deema,
Thank you for the ATC you created for me for this swap. The way you created it made the ice feel cold to me. This will be a great addition to my Alphabet ATC Series.
Comment: Got your ATC today, thanks. Pink & flowers are not my thing, but I'm sure I will find it a good home. ATCs are for trading, right? :) The little bee stickers/embellishments are pretty awesome tho! Do you remember the brand?
Comment: A page of FundyGirl. How funny. thank you for the nice ATC, as always. I will go back and give you a heart. for some reason the mouse will not click on the square. This computer is so old I['m surprised it even works.
Comment: Cupcakes! I remember when cupcakes were just cupcakes--now they're an actual trend! Your ATC AND envie were both so cute. You were brave and actually drew on your envie! Thanks so much for taking time to create something nice for me.
Response: Thank you. I've been challenging myself to do more hand drawn work lately. I'm really glad you liked it.
Comment: OOOOH, I couldn't wait for these to come and I wasn't disappointed!! Your photos are great...very interesting! I especially liked the picture of your clock. Did you notice the reflection in it? Thanks much!! --Chari
Comment: I just love both ATCs you sent! And the pretty card. The ATCs are so creative. I really like the quotes as well as the images. Oh, and yes it most definitly rains just as much up here. But no complaining from me. We do have a beautiful state.
Comment: Thank you for the 2 ATCs. I especially liked the office supply one. And your note card. I know it's just a notecard, but the artwork on it was different and unique to me. I really liked it.
Comment: Hello Deema,
Thank you for your very colorful ATC you created for me for this swap. I love the quote about friends and I like who you used for friends. Your ATC will be a great addition to my Alphabet Series. Yes, I have sent several to you. It was nice to receive one from you. Hope we meet up again during this series.
Comment: Hello wow you made me smile today... an apple a day..... just love this ATC... have worked in schools and seen lots of apples, but have never picked them..... Thank you so much and I love the card too with the little Yorkie!!! happy swapping and I hope our paths cross again....
Comment: Hi! I love your Spring Owl and Birds! I thought spring really was here! We have a tree with the pink blossoms here at home and I am soooo looking forward to seeing it bloom! Winter just will not let go- sigh! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: My husband does not understand why I have random cards either, but he knows not to throw them away. And, I am not allowed to get into the game closet and break up our playing decks. They are antique and from the 50's.
Comment: Demma, I loved looking at your photos. I especially love the photo of your desk! That is how I roll!!! You got to know where everything is located!!! Thank you for sharing these with me, loved them all!!
Comment: As always Deema, you do a great job. I always love your pages and am glad when I get to receive your pages in swaps. Thanks again for joining... I bet your book is looking so awesome. You will really love having this snapshot of your life for years to come!
Comment: I wish I could send you 100 stars as well for this Swap, Deema! It just made my heart happy when I opened it! I love that you made a pocket out of the calendar page, the little tab on the side and the places for pictures!!!! Thanks too for the extras! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Hi FundyGirl, love your card! I will be so happy to see the sun again. Although I did walk over to my library today, and there were a whole bunch of yellow crocuses blooming in their front garden!
Comment: After the preview of the book page on the heart swap card you send me I was especially HAPPY to open the envie from you and see the book page playing cards!!!! Wow....Love them and it is my first book page cars in my set...I just lack the 8's and the 2's now...I am sighned up for the 8's and it is the end of the series so I'll either have to wait or get some to private swap me the 2's..maybe someone else will be lacking them too....So thanks again for my special 7's!!!!!!♥♥♥
Response: I am so glad you liked them. I really had fun putting them together and was very happy at how they turned out. I'm tempted to make a set of those ones for myself. :)
Comment: Thanks so much for joining the swap. I enjoyed looking at all your pages. You have so much journaling. That's nice. I liked how you used the markers on the page about January. It'sfun to see everyone's different style. You look like a fun girl!
Comment: You created a very nice Rolo--great photo and the hearts are just right for a honeymoon trip. Maybe you can go back to Catalina for a special anniversary--5 yr, 10 yr, etc.Have a great week-end and thank you for such a nice Rolo!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful rolo! Luv it and wanna go there now too! Blessings and thanx for the great rolo series....i know alot are enjoying it! I wish you would do a 4x6 group series too! That's my new fav size....more room to create so its just easier and more fun! ;-)
Comment: Thanks for the cute postcard of the baby elephant! We had a baby elephant in our zoo in 2009, but she is not a baby anymore. I hope you can go again soon and see her play: that's just wonderful to watch :)
Comment: Your pages look great! I love how you took pictures of your office... I was too scared to do that with mine because my desk is a total mess! lol. The carnival page is also awesome, it looks like you guys had a really good time. That's nice that all your family gets together for Thanksgiving (and plays cards) -- That's totally what my family would do if someone had a house large enough to accommodate everyone
Comment: Hi Deema: Happy New Year! Thanks so much for the really nice postcard you sent to me, as well as the nice New Year's wishes and thoughts. Hope we get a chance to swap again. Happy New Year, and Happy Swapping!! Carol :)
Comment: I'm so sorry - I seemed to have missed rating you! Especially when you sent me such an awesome package of stuff!! Many thanks (and please excuse the late rating!!)
Response: Oh, thank you. I'm so relieved. I was worried that the package didn't get to you for whatever reason (I don't send many packages across the boarder, so I always worry about them arriving safely). I'm so glad you liked everything. :)
Comment: You hit the right thing for me: cats! Isn't that interesting since you hadn't seen it on my profile! You made a very cute kitty Rolo! Also, would you believe I received another ATC swap (also a cat) and in the same butterfly note card? For a second I was thinking, "Why didn't she just combine the two swaps in one envie?" My first thought was that partner had me to send to for two swaps. It's a small world, after all! :-)
Enjoy all the holiday season brings to you and those you love!
Comment: Thanks so much for sending me a little snow -- even if it is look don't touch! We sometimes get a little snow in the winter as we are almost a mile high, but so far we are looking at 70's and 80's -- probably all the way through Christmas! Hope yours is very merry!
Comment: What an amazingly appropriate PC! I really enjoyed your doodle, especially the dogs in the other room. We do hope that this is not the room with the food. Once my dog ate an entire package of bleu cheese ... yeah, I think I'm going to skip the rest of that story ... Happy Thanksgiving!
Response: One of my mom's dogs used to like to get the butter off the table and eat that. Weird. :) Thanks for the rating and the heart and you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, too. :)
Comment: I love my "We Three Kitties" card. The one on the left looks just a bit like Winston. However, Winston is much chubbier! I will share your card with several of my crafty, cat loving friends. Thank you so much. It is very special.
Response: I'm so glad you like it! Thank you for the heart. :)
Comment: Thankyou for these beautiful pictures on Henry ! He is just the cutest boy ever!! love these pictures , my favorite has got to be the one of him in his coat! many thanks for share-ing and big hugs for henry :D xx
Comment: Thanks for this cute card. I had another idea, a food bank for pet food. I think there's one in CA, but I don't know how to get started with that. It would be a good idea, though. hope you are fine.
Comment: so sweet of you!
yay, i do love that old view with workers from way up above the great city of
new york ... it's exciting to realize how
all those buildings were constructed
with human brains & labor!
Comment: Thanks a lot for this wonderful photo. I really love it. Your cat looks really cute and I wish I would have a cat to cuddle with. I love my teddy bear as well - no matter if I am sick, tired, sad or even when I am happy. Cuddling with my teddy bear makes me a little more comfortable.
Comment: Well, like I needed to be reminded to get along with husband at this exact time in my life. Hmmmm... how did you know? Could be a God thing, Thanks. I am humbled. I needed that for sure. oh and the 10-11-2012 came out perfect on the card.
Comment: Thankyou Deema for the lovely Halloween goodies, I love the cute socks, very thoughtful. My grandson is 6yrs old on the 31st October, I'll wrap the puzzle up for him, have a nice day, thanks Deema love Jennifer.
Comment: Love the card, thanks and wow Karaoke eh? Do you go to a bar?
Response: Funny enough, not too often at the bar. Neither of us are big drinkers. Instead my husband bought the equipment and we take them out to our family gatherings and such. Every once in awhile, him and I will just turn it on at home and sing by ourselves, too.
Comment: I love the Mt. Hood postcard. We have visited my sisters in Gresham, Salem and Eugene and have seen Mt. Hood from a distance. Thank you for the great card. (That was before I was into pc's, I didn't have one of Mt. Hood).
Response: I'm glad I could give you something you didn't have. :)
Comment: What a delightful surprise with your choice of postcards Deema. I appreciate you looking at my profile and like your variety of cards. I would not like to be sitting in the dentist's chair looking at that gigantic denture set! Love the cards, thanks. :)
Comment: Thanks for the Apple card...It is my first and can't wait to stick it in my rolo when it comes from E-Bay next week...you did a great job, I just sent out to you today the A tab for our private swap so you should get it soon!
Comment: Thank you for the PC from New York City and your story of September 11th. I can see the twin towers in the background, It is a day we should always remember. I live about 45 miles from the crash site in Pennsylvania.
Comment: Hahaha, coolest Christmas card ever! My stocking would be runneth over with something looking very much like that if I had one ;P (stockings are not a part of Christmas around here) I will however hang this in a spot where everyone can see it this season =)
Comment: thanks for this neat post card. I like reading and writing, too. I use scrapbook paper to make stationary. Which usually means gluing a pretty picture to a piece of paper. LOL, it's fun though.
Comment: I read the back first, and then, for some reason, my eyes decided to look from bottom to top. When I saw the whole thing, I laughed out loud. Super awesome card, and pigeons are my secret second favorite animal so kudos for reading my mind. ♥♥♥♥♥
Comment: Hello and thanks for the LIGHTHOUSE postcard received today, I have a postcard website and you can check it here if you wish:
Laurent from Australia
PS: YOU FORGOT TO WRITE YOUR NAME ON THE POSTCARD - HARD TO FIND YOU AND RATE YOU !
Response: Oops! Dang, that's the second one this week. Shoot!
Comment: I have always enjoyed my visits to both Washington and Florida so I do hope you get there one day. Thank you for the awesome card! I would love to swap with you again. What would you like to swap? I am open to almost anything. :)
Response: You know what's funny? I lived in Tennesse for 7 years and NEVER made the trip to Florida. Not sure why.
I'd love to do more private swaps with you. My favorite things to swap so far have been postcards and smashbook stuff, but I'm starting on Altered Rolodex Cards and rather enjoying them too. But then again, with a private swap, I'd be up for swapping anything you wanted too. :)
Comment: I love the card & appreciate your sending it in an envie. The funny thing is I bought the Wanderlust collection of cards in a thrift shop & it was missing a couple of the cards. This was one of them! I like it because it's just the sort of thing I take photos of myself. (Yeah, I'm weird.) Thanks a bunch.
Response: I'm so glad you didn't have that one. I like that set for the exact same reason. My husband thinks I'm weird too. I let him take the normal shots. :)
Comment: had to wait till the other 2 pc's from this swap came in so i could rate by process of elimination...i saw it came from beautiful portland but it didn't have any name on it.
House, M.D is so rude, but i love him, thanks for his quote.
Response: Oh, I'm so sorry! I usually am so good about putting my swap-bot name on them, but I've caught myself a couple of times now almost sending them off without. I guess this one slipped by me. :(
isn't it uncanny how there can be a
swap for everything?!?!
i am honored to have the card that
captured a moment (as in mini-
struggle!) in your life: sweet to be
able to recycle/salvage the product
in a genuine, meaningful manner!
... makes me imagine how your puppy
would react to seeing a real marmot
at the park: be-warned!!
thanks for being part of this swap ~
Comment: Heehee - I have to giggle, out of 5 people in the swap 3 of us live near Ol' St. Helens! I still have ash from the eruption - we were living in Spokane and got about 3" (that's more than the average snowfall in Seattle).
Comment: Thank you for the lighthouses! The one on the rock is especially interesting. I would love to spend the night in a lighthouse that has been turned into a Bed and Breakfast! I also love to read books that take place in a lighthouse setting. Blessing, Maggie
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard! I spent some time in Portland - I absolutely love the city :)
And I'm sure your husband enjoyed his time here in Ypsi! :) Everyone always does! HAHA
Comment: Thanks for the photo note card with your Henry on the front. I'm glad you put the photo into something that is also useful. I have a colleague who has a dog named Henry--he looks much like your Henry! Enjoy the Labor Day week-end coming soon!
