Comment: Debbie, thanks for your holiday postcard--I am found of the modernized (in terms of art) version of a nativity scene. I have a splendid one that my grandma had, made by my mother in about 1966 or 67, when she was doing ceramic classes. It is very vintage style and I'm so happy to have it. Mom gave it to me years ago after she'd had it for a few years after my grandmother died. Then she handed it down to me as their house was small and I had lots of room at that time. It "lives" every December on top of my upright grand piano that was made in 1913! Given enough space, I'd collect small and medium size nativity scenes; however, we don't have a bit of space to spare. I hope your Christmas was filled with happy memories and that the new year will bring you health, happiness, and many good days to remember in scrapbooks or other memory keeping crafts! Have a great 2018!
Comment: Whoa... that fan is so cool! Thank you... I am going to find a good place to display it in my studio!! I love the bookmark as well and... well I'm eating the chocolate as I type this!!! Thank you for everything!
Comment: Hi DebR. Thank you for the sweet card and sharing your thoughts on spoiling your niece this holidays. I look forward to spoiling my grand kids (and the other little ones in my life) too, so I can totally get the excitement. Also, thank you for the nice stamp and beautiful Robin stickers. I appreciate it all! Happy Holidays!! Diane
Comment: Belated thank you for the exciting Ladybird Jack and the Beanstalk book card -- seeing the harp reminds me of "Giants in the Sky" from the musical Into the Woods :) What you wrote about collecting the books now also reminds me of the line from You've Got Mail in which Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan): "When you read a book as a child, it becomes part of your identity in a way that no other reading in your whole life does." Hope you are well ♥
Comment: Debbie ~ hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Thank you so much for the awesome Christmas book! I love that there are many shorts stories! Happy New Year!! XOXO

Comment: Thank you for the adorable little Santa and snowmen chocolate! I have never seen them before. The white chocolate beard on the chocolate Santa is TOO cute! I'm saving them for when I'm wrapping my Christmas presents.
Comment: Hi Debbie! Thanks for the awesome Alice card. You know I never read the book nor seen the movie. Then I heard a radio show about the story so when I was at the bookstore I found a copy on sale and bought it :). So it is on my short list to week. :)
Comment: I'm extremely sorry for the late rating. I found a bunch of postcards that fell down behind the couch. I've been going crazy looking for them again I'm extremely sorry for the late rating Thank you for the Wonderful postcard.
Comment: What a lovely postcard!!! I've never been to Dorset, but is does look beautiful!!! I love the thatched cottages and all the beautiful flowers. The narrow roads, not so much! They are a nightmare to drive on, on the opposite side of the road not less! Especially for someone used to the wide American roads!!! Thankfully, my brother-in-law did all the driving and I was able to lounge in the back seat!!!
Comment: Debbie, what great postcards! You sent everyone that is a keeper. I never had one of Queen Elizabeth. That one is very special and of course the lighthouse ones were super.. I wish I could give you more of a rating that I can. You are such a wonderful swapper. Thank you for the postcards Shirley
Comment: Well I stink!!! I don't know where my rating went :-( but thank you for the book related flip book. Simple and perfect!!! I always love swapping with you!
(I should have mentioned that the tiny owl bookmark made my day, I'm using it now and thought i should mention it... And I'm looking for the Secret of Spiggy Holes... Sounds right up my alley!!)
Comment: Debbie! I got your gorgeous card today!! It looks like you'll be at Disney RIGHT before me! I'm arriving on December 5th and will be there until the 13th!
I wish you lots of love and laughter this Thanksgiving Holiday!!
Comment: I have to confess that I opened the envelope that suggested to be opened on Dec 1. I adore the Advent Card you sent and look forward to relaxing with the tea. (In fact, I am going to google those cards and see if they are available in Canada!) The rest of the envelopes are hidden away in my closet so I will resist the temptation of opening them until December. Thank you so much for the care and thought you put in this swap for me. You are a great swap partner.
Comment: I am being very good and not opening anything until Christmas. But I know it is worth a heart anyway, because you wrapped so carefully, handwrote the tags and used real stamps on the envelope.
Comment: Thanks for the Roald Dahl postcard--I have not read his books, but my daughter certainly did and loved them immensely. I probably should read them myself since everyone says he's a terrific writer. The postcard will be a reminder to check into his books at the library next time! Hope you are having a good week. Thanks for a great swap!
Comment: Thanks Deb, it arrived. These are both very sweet bookmarks. And I love the card-poppies are one of my favourite flowers. I did notice that this was postmarked Saturday 22nd and you marked sent on Thursday the 20th but I do know sometimes the mail boxes can be picked up late-I guess that's what happened.
Response: I am so glad that arrived, I was just starting to make another one. I did post on the 20th. It may have been after the last post on the Thursday but I would have thought then it would be postmarked Friday so cant explain why it was postmarked Saturday.
Comment: Love, love, love the Swap-bot postcard!! Thank you very much! I hope you have a lovely summer as well :) I'll be spending lots of time gardening, kayaking, and mountain biking. Happy Swapping, Penelope
Comment: Debbie thank you for the bookmark, I love the scriptures!! The baby massage and play classes sound like a lot of fun!! I hope you guys have a good turn out :) Nice reading from you again! Hugs!!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful card and bookmark! I actually have read quite a few of the books listed on it! There are a couple on the list that I haven't read that sound interesting. ( The Animals of Farthing Wood is one!) I just might have to see if I can find them! 💕
Comment: What a beautiful tea book you made! I love it, and all the tea you included sounds wonderful. Congrats to you on the 2nd prize win for the recipe! It sounds delicious. I can't wait to try everything!
Comment: Thank you so much for a lovely swap Debbie! I love the scripture card, beautiful! And chocolate is yummy!! It was nice to hear about your plans for Easter, how was it? Our was great! Sorry it took me a little while to rate. God bless you! <3
Comment: Thank you! Easter eggs are one of my favorite :) I know what you mean about the time it takes...I'm in a craft swap that says spend a minimum of 2 hours...well with cross-stitch I don't think my partner would like only 2 hours of work! I will probably have to spend 10-20, at the very minimum, lol.
Comment: Debbie, thank you so much for the great assortment of postcards. I really like them, and although the large letter postcard may be different, I love it! What great choices you made. Have a great day!
Comment: Wow! What a wonderful list of stories. I too loved reading Hedi & Charlotte's Webb. Some I never heard of, but will definitely go to the library & check them out. Love the postcards too. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day. bearnbabs
Thanks for your postcard, I love it. Is so beautiful!!!!! Well we call just Santa Claus to Father Christmas, but not all people believe in him here in Mexico. Almost all the kids believe in the three kings.
Comment: Thank you for the squirrel postcard.I saw grey squirrels when I was in London last April. They were very bold.
I hope that you remain well and can spend lots of time with your family as part of your resolution for yourself this year.
Comment: Thank you so much for the really different postcards. I love the Christmas one that matches the stamp you used. It's a keeper. And your Christmas card is a hoot! Merry Christmas to you and yours,. ~Joy

Comment: Update: I just opened your C+C packages; I absolutely love the Benjamin Bunny bookmark, and the teas look delicious! I really like the old-fashioned & bookish postcards you included too. Thank you and happy holidays!
Comment: Received your package today. Hope I'll be able to not open it 'till christmas. :p
Update: Too bad you didn't take the time to read my profile, or you would've read that I can't wear these due to allergies. But thanks anyway, will donate them to charity.
Comment: Thank you so much for the magazine and kits! We don't get the Cross Stitch Crazy magazine at all over here in Norway. A few of the others are available, but at an insane price. I will save it for when I'm done with making my Christmas gifts this year, I always do that with crafts magazines. This is NOT the time for me to get new ideas ;P
Comment: What a pleasure it was to get your pkg. Thank you for the lovely teas, great postcards, hot chocolate, and the recipe. The verses you sent from Deuteronomy are very special ~ thank you so much! Take good care :o)
Comment: Your postcard already arrived! And it is one of the best ad postcards I ever got! Thank you so much!!! This is fantastic :-) I'd give you 100 hearts if I could!
Comment: Oh i love this! First... The tea matched the bookmark and i DO have a thing for color coordination! Second, the tea sound positively yummy. Third, roald dahl, yay! And you are right, no such thing as too many bookmarks. I have a nice little collection going. Fourth, the book... I love books like this and i love her and her stories! I'm so looking forward to reading this!!! Thank you :-)
(Oops! I forgot to mention the fun literary postcards!! Thank you!!)
Response: I hadn't realised that the tea matched the bookmark. I am really glad you liked everything and it arrived so quick.
Comment: Yum, you are awesome to have done this for me. I feel like I got the better end of the deal though, so next time, if there is, I am going to ignore your price limit. The Malteasers were good but I am a Smarties girl. You absolutely made my day!
Comment: I have never even thought to try lamb in my slow cooker. I make rack of lamb in the oven so this will be an interesting recipe for me. We love carrots so the other recipe is a bonus. Thank you.
Comment: Thank you! I wish I could give you more hearts! You deserve them! I am waiting to open my little gifts. But I can tell one is a candle and it smells awesome. :) The postcards are perfect. My daughter does not have either one of these bears. She will be thrilled. My son will like the bookmark. He is so bad to loose them and he loves to read. I have a hard time keeping us supplied. I think we both mark too many things in books. I think I will be keeping the owl and the pussy-cat one. It's so cute!
Comment: What a GREAT Envie I had waiting for me today after a frustrating day @ work! Thanks so much for all of it..... I can't wait to sit down and actually get to READ about life boats and the Bronte sisters WOW I LOVE LIFEBOATS...... I am a nurse and I believe a lifesaver myself..... Happy Swapping you have made me smile!
Comment: I just got home from vacation and the swap was here! What a nice treat to which to come home! I am gaga about those little cross-stitch kits and owls and look forward to stitching the one you sent. Also very excited about trying the teas. I like it all! Thank you and sorry for the late rating.
Comment: So many bookmarks! I've got a stash of 50+ of them, but I keep giving them away to friends, so I don't know if I can call that a collection! lol You've got a lovely variety, though. Well done. I love lighthouses too. And my dad collects pottery; I bet you have some beautiful pieces!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card and bookmarks! I like the bird one you bought, and the hand made one is so sweet. I always have twoish books on the go at once (not including Kindle and ebooks on my phone) and I always need more bookmarks. :)
Comment: Deb, thank you for working so hard to get this swap to me. In spite of the postal service, I received your wonderful package full of awesomeness. The stocking is cute, the stickers are fun, and the cards are very nice and will be useful. thank y ou f or your persistence in swapping.
Response: I am really sorry. You should have received this swap. I have sent it twice. I will message you.
Comment: Thank you very much! This bookmark is not one that I would have picked for myself, but I quite like it. That's one of my favourite things about swap-bot. Receiving things outside of our norms that we really like. Thanks for hosting this swap. :)
Comment: Thank you for the great beach card. All we have to do is wait as summer will be here before we realize it. My problem is all we have around here are little man made beaches on man made lakes. The nearest beach is about a thousand miles away. Thats what we get for living in the center of the country.
Comment: Thank you so much =) I'm looking forward to opening the gifts in Christmas eve, while my husband opens the umpteen I've got for him this year. I'll save the advent calendar card for next year, really sweet =) And the cats say Puuuurrrr!
Comment: You deserve tripple stars - thank you so much for the cards, the extra B & W one, AND for angeling the Woodland Animals PC swap! You are a sweetie! Merry Christmas to you! Your packet made my day!
Comment: Thank You Deb - no i got a confession to make, one of the presents had come out of the stocking when it arrived, it had also come unstuck so i couldnt resist peeking - oh my gosh i absolutely loved loved the gingerbread garland, you made my day, never seen that before so you deserve a heart along just for that one present - thank you Debbie xxx

Comment: Debbie, your parcel just arrived and it's excellent. I am looking forward to having time tonight to explore all the pockets. Yes I understand too that it was taxing but the end result is worth it. I do hope your partner sends to you......Let me know please.
Comment: Updated Dec. 24: I enjoyed all of your little quotes, and noticed that most of your cards came from the hospice before I opened the last one wherein you mentioned it. So sorry for the loss of your friend Debbie. Thx and hugs, T (";)
Comment: Ooooh! Thank you for the lovely collection of festive gifts; They look so tempting and they smell amazing! I might have to have my husband hide them for me if I'm going to last until December! ;o) Thanks too for organizing this for all of us!
Comment: Thank you for extra paper doll for my daughter! Looking forward to open them! :)
.... Now that all is open I'm adding a heart for you. :) Most loved are Earth 3D postcard and bone folder. Thank you!!! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for the fantastic tea package :-) as I opened the box the lovey aroma of tea came flowing out. It was so nice of you to also include a tea for now:) and I do love black tea! I haven't tried it yet but will this weekend. I can't wait to start opening the gifts during advent!
Comment: Hi Debbie and thank you so much for your package! It's good for much more than just one comfy evening. The extra tote bag is now my favourite one and I'm just sitting in the office and enjoying the English breakfast-tea putting the cup on the pretty coaster. The extra socks were in my possession only a very short time as both my teenagers wanted to have them.
Comment: Witth every package I get, it is harder not to open! I was happy to see that you used peel offs again. I reused many of last years on gift tags! Love them and you have very different ones than we get here.
Comment: Your first book was sweet but your redo is wonderful. I love the little ornaments inside and the beautiful paper you used for the cover of the mini-book. You did yourself proud. I have them both hanging next to each other on my year-round craft-tree. Thank you for a wonderful swap.
Response: I am so glad you like it. Now I know how to do them everyone in my family is getting one for Christmas
Comment: Found your envie with the beautiful contents! Thanks so much. Loved it! And please accept my apology for the delay in rating you. Your envie was packed in a moving box before I had a chance to rate.
Comment: Got this today. Still debating whether to open them now or wait, lol. =) I'll revise this when I do open them. **Added 12-26** Thanks for the profile gifts. The buttons were cute. The beads are a little big for what I had in mind but I do love the colors. I'll find a use for them soon. =) Thanks again!
Response: That arrived quite fast considering how long post can take to get to Canada and you are the first partner to rate me for this swap. Yes, they are nice address labels - someone nice sent them to me :)
Comment: Thanks for all the great recipes! I make cheese scones now & again but I've never thought of putting marmite in them :) I could have used the pie recipe on Monday - we had leftover ham from Sunday!! I had a laugh at the minty bolognaise story - we often have happenings like that here, like the time Tom forgot to get limes for the salmon so mixed tangerine in with the chilli and garlic. It was unusual, but not unpleasant....
Comment: Thanks very much for the recipes. I'm REALLY excited about the ice cream one, I love making ice cream! Also looking forward to the ginger beer, the pie and the cheese rosemary and potato loaf. Some exciting choices here!
Comment: Woo hoo! It arrived. :-) Thank you so much for the generous package. I'm going to squirrel away the Jammy Dodgers and surprise the kids with them this summer. I can't say that I'll be sharing the Marmite cashews, because they are almost gone already. Yum! I'll enjoy the Marmite breadsticks too. Thanks for a great package!
Response: I am so glad it arrived, I thought I may have to send another one over the weekend. Enjoy the cashews, they are getting more difficult to find now.
Comment: Hi DebR - the mini book is absolutely lovely. The hand made elements are gorgeous and the pre made embellishments are what I would have chosen for myself. It is a wonderful swap book. Thanks for all the effort you put into it.
Comment: Thank you Debbie for the beautiful card, journal, and bookmark. I am sorry I can't give you 2 stars, I was so glad to receive the extras. God is good and I am so glad & blessed to have so many Christians people in Swap Bot to swap with. Have a blessed day.
Comment: What an absolutely super postcard! I really do like the shape of it and from the scenes on it I can see why you would want to revisit this lovely place! I hope you have another lovely holiday Debbie :)
Comment: Thanks for angelling my Christmas swap :-) sorry for the delay in rating, my swaps go to my parents house because I'm currently moving flats so I only get my swaps every week or so at the moment! I love what you sent though, thanks :-)
Comment: Thank you so much for the thoughtful package. I loved what you sent and the Mr. Men Christmas book was read for bedtime upon arrrival. I love that you had a waldorf book to send. Sadly, the package was very smelly with mold. I've been leaving the books out in the sun hoping to salvage them. Happy 2012.
Comment: Thanx for the Christmascards - just in time to send them out - but they are not exactly Craftsupplies :o)

Comment: :) Thanks so much for all the stuff. I especially loved the magna carta postcard – I put it on the wall above my bed. It's really nice. And loved the coins and bookmarks! Thanks so much! lol. Don't worry that most of it wasn't art stuff either... I still enjoyed it.
Comment: I looooved the cookie cutters... thank you for the pencils... they REALLY are very useful... I have very forgetful students and sometimes I lend my own pencils... so by sharpening they disappear very fastly!!!
thank you reaaaaaally very much... you gave me a huch smile today! wishing you a very good weekend!
Comment: Thank you =) I looove the notecard you used, soo cuuuute! It has to go on my cute wall for sure.
I gave the cats a handful of the treats, and all 5 are looking at me, begging for more. I have to hide that package, if I don't they will steal it and tear it apart for sure.
