Comment: I’m SOOOO grateful for your sharing of all these lovely envies! Thank you for all of the extras too! Not only are there more in quantity than the swap required, but you also took the time and added that little strip of double-sided tape to seal each of them (I really ❤️ the convenience of making them ready-to-use). Bonus 💕 for including a couple tiny giftcard-sized envies made of adorable heart designed papers!!!!
Comment: Thanks so much for the Aladdin post card. :) I've not read much in the fantasy genre, overall. But the title "Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City" sounds interesting. :) Thanks for sharing. :)
Comment: Thank you - the card is gorgeous - I love the embossing - and thanks for the vintage postcards, too. When I saw SD I thought South Dakota - there's a beach in SD? Then I saw San Diego on the return address - ; )
Comment: Jane, I am letting people down left and right lately. I don't know what happened...I SWEAR I remember rating your adorable heart, but when I found the swap and checked...of course there was no rating. I sincerely apologize. Your heart is darling, and I love every little inch of it. Thank you so much for being a good swap partner, and for checking in about the rating.
Comment: Jane! Thank you so much for the adorable card, envies, and die cuts. I am going to take a couple of weeks off of work and I am sooo looking forward to resting and recharging. I wish you the best. Happy holidays!
Comment: Jane, thanks for joining my swap. Love your envies and especially those beautiful die-cuts. Maybe someday I'll have a machine.
Hey, my hubby is from Sturgis and we used to visit his mom in Souix Falls. Small world.
Comment: Thank you so much for the Gorjuss postcard (see what I did there) I absolutely love the postcard! I love purple and shimmer and books and the postcard has all three :) I bookmarked your blog to check out later. Have you read Scythe and Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman? They are fantastic and I cannot wait for the third book in the trilogy to come out in November!! Happy arting (and reading)
Comment: Thank you fro resending, it's such a waste when our creations get lost in the mail. Love the cute dog and embossed trees. I appreciate that you took the time (twice) to create this just for me!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card! I am also not really ready for Christmas mood - feels like this year rushed from a very long summer right into Christmas time. And online shopping made me lucky to have nearly all presents without searching in crowded stores :) Wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year :)
Comment: Thanks for this beautiful swap! I love the animal and birdie envies, and the hawk PC is perfect to add to my collection! I love the yellow envie! I really brightened a dark gloomy day! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thank you for the really cute Merry Christmas card and goodies!!! I love this swap! I hope you and your love ones have a very Merry Christmas!!! and I will have fingers crossed for great New Year for you!!!!
Comment: Thanks for nice quality cards and an extra! Thanks for matching my profile so well.I don't have either of those Disney cards! Really love the decoration on the envelope - such tiny, detailed images!
Comment: Hi Jane! Thank you so much for the beautiful birthday card. I love it. I never have enough birthday or sympathy cards ;-) My interpretation was similar, but a bit different :-) Thanks also for the goodies! Did you create the beautiful little doilies with a punch? I hope your nice weather has continued. We were at 55 degrees yesterday with sun.. and today is windy, low 40s, and gray. Forecasting for snow/rain mix tomorrow... Will winter ever end?? Thank you again!! Happy Spring!
Comment: Jane...what fun envies...love the variety of sizes, colors and the oh so many cute ways of sending "butterfly love"!! Thank you for making this an awesome swap and for the fun extras you included...happy spring, Charlene
Comment: Wow! This is a great swap! I love all the embellishments you put on the envies, the extras and the homemade envie with keys! I would give you 5 stars for this one! Thanks so much! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: What a lovely Christmas card full of neat postcards!! So many extras. There were a couple of keepers in there & I can't wait to send the rest. I already know who a couple are going to!! Merry Christmas!!
Comment: Thanks for the pretty winter card! I don't like scraping ice off my car either! It doesn't snow a lot here, but it's been pretty cold the past few days. Thanks for the washi tape and cute note paper!
Comment: It's been far too warm here too.. although, not as bad at the 90s -- I would die. I'm going to have to buy a walk in freezer so I can experience some winter! I lived in Alaska for a long time and I really like it to be in the 20s in Winter.
Comment: Hi Jane! Thank you so much for the lovely Christmas card and the extra goodies! Did you make the Gift Card Holder? It is adorable!! I will put it to good use! I think it would be tough to get into the Christmas mood with a heatwave! I am doing better than I normally do but have tons to take care of - trying to figure out where to put all the stuff in the craft/spare room for when the kiddos come home for Christmas - yikes!! LOL! Merry Christmas to you and yours! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: What a beautiful selection of cards. I have been trying to find cards like this but Christmas cards or do you not here yet. I think you for all the other extra little goodies even the ones that we talked away, very cute. I'm going to put the one from you with the other cards that people have sent so that come Christmas time I can have Christmas Cards all over our house to remind me there's a world full of wonderful people. Thank you â¤ï¸ðŸ˜€ Oh, and I love the postage stamps you chose, have never seen them before 😀😀
Comment: Jane, thank you so much! I love all the map goodies you sent and the extras too! My family was one of the fortunate few here in the Houston area. There are still people unable to get into their house because of standing water inside. So many sad stories, and more to come with hurricane Irma in Florida. Thank you for the fun map pieces.
Hope your presentation went well & the rest of the summer continues swimmingly! I happened to be in SD last year to witness how exciting the event was for everyone (despite total unfamiliarity otherwise) – the city has really bloomed as a year-round vacationland =) take care/keep swapping!
Comment: Ha, I got the same postcard in a swap at some point. Maybe it's the very same card, doomed to spend eternity being shuffled around the world in unwanted postcard exchanges, and you have liberated it from its terrible fate! Thanks!
Comment: Thank you for the stunning image of Katharine Hepburn, the cheery butterfly and floral stickers, and for sharing your current reads! You inspire me to read at least two books simultaneously :) I started Zadie Smith's On Beauty a week or so ago after I devoured Swing Time (my first time reading her work), but then I temporarily set it aside to read A Portrait of Bowie. Happy reading!
Comment: Thank you, Jane, for the lovely goodies you sent for my happy mail this month! Your envelope was decorated in such a pretty way (love that kitty on the back ;+) and I have never seen a Jetoy postcard as cute as the one you sent! Love the stickers, too, and the Halloween ribbon will be put to good use later this year. Great choices . . . I'm happy!
Comment: Thanks! Just returned from Milwaukee where the Brewers lost 3 in a row. I dream of a winning season. Have ticket for June 16 games against Padres. It's free t-shirt night! Susan (brooklynbunch)
Comment: We got rain yesterday for the first time in a long time. Much needed...though it would have been nicer a little sooner since the fires started dying down a little while ago. Thank you for the card!
Comment: Hello, thank you for the book postcard and the description of Norse Mythology - the last time I read Neil Gaiman was on a long flight; perfect for being transported while being transported. I'll look out for Norse Mythology.
Comment: These envelopes are so excellent! They are extremely durable and great papers! I also love the little envies...no idea what I'm going to do with them yet, but they are so stinkin' cute! Thanks so much.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful PCs. . . the one of the Columbia River Gorge is absolutely breathtaking with such vivid colors. I, too, like the peacefulness of the mountains but also enjoy the sound of the surf at the beach which also soothes me. Thanks again for the beautiful PCs and hope to see you again in future swaps ~~
Comment: I just got the mail and rushed to my computer to rate this. Jane, this is exactly what I had hoped for by hosting this swap - a bunch of cards that the recipients would LOVE. The XOXO card is so cool - like Escher meets Geiger, I love the B&W - exercise gear has changed a bit over the years, eh? And It's been ages since I got a pin-up. Thank you! Many hearts.....
Comment: Greetings from Illimois, thank you for your beautiful Christmas card, stickers and tags! I love the card. Christmas blessings just about says it for me. The best of the holiday season to you.
An Elvis postage stamp, honey you can never go wrong with that!!!!
Comment: Hello Jane! I enjoyed reading your Randomness Journal. I have not visited San Diego, you paint a lovely picture of the city. All the best to you!!!! I'm on Postcrossing too....maybe our PC's will cross one day.
Comment: What a lovely reading log book! Thank you too for the very nice bookmark. I've read the first of Phedre's Kushiel series, but after reading your thoughts on Kushiel's Mercy it makes me want to read those three again and the rest of the series. = ) I also loved! The Nightingale as well. (I listened to The Widow, I rated it a 3 I think..I was a bit disappointed by its lack of exciting ending).
Comment: Thank you for the lovely envies! The iris embellishment is perfect for this Louisiana girl. After looking at your PC, I want to move to San Diego! Florence, I am envious! Thank you or sharing your souvenirs!
Comment: Hi Jane! Thank you very much for the lovely envies you created for me! I really love that you used plain paper and added special embellishments. I was just as excited to receive the San Diego zoo postcard! What a treat!
Comment: Pretty card. What's the paper and stamp from? (card design reminds me of one in Club Stamp's Idea Deck).
BTW, the envelope was fun. :)
Response: Thank you. The ink, paper, & stamp are from Stampin' Up! The design came from a design challenge that I was doing in another swap. The hostess chose that design & since I needed to make two cards just used the same design, but changed up the colors & stamp. That's probably what it looks like a design from a book. :-)
Comment: Thanks for the great selection. My fave is the retro b/w pic of the girls on the sidewalk and the man in the wheelchair, ah the social commentary. The post-crossing card is awesome, I am on post-crossing but I haven't been to any of the meet-ups. Thank you so much!!
Comment: Oh wow!!!!!! Your envelopes are soo cute!! And everything is sooo pretty. I'm actually looking forward to feeling blue so I have an excuse to open one of these treasures hehe :) Thank you sooo much~
Comment: Your postcard arrived today, thank you! I think I have more hideous postcards in my collection, but I do admit that painting seems to me more of an art exercise than an actual piece of art! ;) I much prefer the cute li'l monsters you stuck on to the back. I'd go to see them if they had their own art exhibition!
Comment: Hi Jane! what a beautfiul large sized postcard you sent to me! I enjoyed it throughly! Have not been to this National Monument! I might have to look into taking a trip for sketching and making art! Beautiful! Isnt that true we have such beautiful places in America? I think so! I feel very blessed to live here in the USA! Hope your Monday was good. Now that seems so long ago. I am having a very productive and creative time now. Every night i am up late creating and doodling and it is exciting to get up and look at what is on the drawing table. Today though i am going out and picking marionberries so i have to run now! Thanks Jane!
Comment: Hello fellow San Diegian! How crazy is it that we indeed live in such a small world?! I have to say, one - I love the little fox and two - I, uh, actually LOVE the strange art! You sent this card to the right person! Cheers and stay cool through the heat wave! Cheers! -Bonnie
Comment: LOL! Love the cat postcard, glad you decided to give this one up. I will cherish it. It makes me smile and laugh. There are so many different things I'm imagining this cat might be thinking while it's stretching!
Comment: Hi Jane. I waited to rate until it was a two page spread. Love what you did with it. Thanks for the extras but they are not necessary. I always rate on the artwork and you will be sending to me for a while.
Comment: Jane, I loved all the PC's you sent but I especially liked the 3 pooches. They reminded me of Charlie, our dog, he's black and white and a little taller but has the same look and ears. Great stamps too. Thanks. Chris crispycritter
Comment: Hi Jane! I think my first thoughts when I saw the postcard were the same as yours. I see it in the mailbox and even before I turned it over I thought to myself, this better be for the not perfect postcard swap, otherwise I would be a little disappointed. Thanks so much for the almost perfect card and for your note on the back. I hope to see you in the mail again soon! ♥
Comment: Awesome envies!!! I love them all, but the flip flop stamp is ADORABLE!! And, thanks so much for the too cool post cards!! I love the Enoch Bolles Pin-up! And the vintage card is amazing! How cool is it that you have address labels that matches the theme!! Thanks so much for an awesome swap!!!
Comment: What a lovely package! The Wicked Witch is one of my all-time favorite characters! I loved the poem as well - I'm keeping it in my journal for when I need a reminder :) Thank you for the goodies and oh yes, I am SO glad The Walking Dead is back and this season is amazing! Thanks again! :)
Response: I'm so glad you liked the Wicked Witch bookmark!!! I liked it so much I bought one for myself. :-) Glad you also liked the poem - it really helps put the fight back in me when I feel defeated.
Comment: Jane - what a gorgeous green card! I love it! I really like the embossing folder you used. I've never seen that one. And the ribbon you used is beautiful! Thank you - and thank you, too, for the stamped images!
Response: Thank you! I can't remember where I got the embossing folder (perhaps JoAnn Fabrics?), but was so excited to finally use it. :-)
Comment: Absolutely Adorable! That little girl is super sweet! I've seen the set before and it's lovely! I'm so glad I've gotten a card using it! Thank you so much! And thank you as well for the cool papers! They will make great layering pieces!
Comment: Even though I am not a fan of fantasy I hope you enjoy the series of books. Thank you for the lovely postcard because no matter what way you look at it it doesnt matter, the picture can be either way!
Comment: I haven't heard of those books! I'll have to check them out! And it's awesome you got to meet the author and got his autograph! Thank you for sharing! And thanks for the WONDERFUL postcard! How perfect was that!?!?! Thank you so much for the awesome postcard and joining my swap!
Comment: Very cute and clever valentine from you. Love the color and design. Little things to brighten my day--so special of you to tuck them in. Love the ribbon and tag. Generous, giving spirit. Thanks so much--hope you have a most wonderful day!
Comment: Hello Jane, thank you so much for your postcard! I love cats!!! And I really liked the stickers and the washitape on the card. Thanks for making such an effort. You put a smile on my face today. Thanks!
I wish you all the best!
Comment: Hi Jane!
I loved, loved, LOVED the 9 page happy mail pocket letter you sent! Everything about it is awesome! The papers you chose are just perfect and nicely decorated with stickers, stamps, and washi! Your letter cracked me up when you wrote about your dog with her own Facebook page! :-) Our pets are part of our family, right? Thank you for the nice assortment of stickers! The envelope was so cute and cheery, too! Thanks for everything! Happy Swapping! Valerie
Comment: Gorgeous PL,love the ugly Christmas sweaters. I saw the ugly sweater coloring book at Michael's and almost picked it up, maybe for next year-too fun. You did a great job, thank you so much. Thanks for the washi tape - one of my favorite things!!!!
Comment: Hi Jane! I thought the "SD" was for South Dakota, haha. Nice to meet another Cali swapper. :) I LOVE this postcard!!! Flash is my favorite (because I want to be him) and Green Lantern is my partner's favorite! What a crazy random happenstance. :D :D And of course, everyone loves Batman. We are behind on SHIELD right now; missed a few on Hulu and it's hard to catch up. Love that show though. Here are more hearts for you: ♥ ♥ ♥
Response: I'm so glad you like it! How crazy is it that I picked you and your boyfriends' favorite heroes!! I binged watched the first two seasons of SHIELD over Christmas, so I'm about to start on this season. It's getting so good!!
Comment: Thank you for the cute snowman card and the sticky notes! Hope you are still on the mend and the time goes quickly for you to get all the way well! Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thanks for the glittery and beautiful snowman card. Love it! Brightened my Christmas! Hope you are having fun on your way to see what's in Santa's bag! The stickers are so cute, too! You are a sparkling person!
Comment: I hope your shoulder is healing well. Did you have at least a cool Christmas? I was in Atlanta and it was in the 70's. Now I'm back home in Florida and back in the 80's. We skipped winter this year...thanks for the card and goodies!
Comment: Hi Jane,
I really love the card you send me.
It is so pretty.
Also many thanks to you that you took the effort to use a Peanuts stamp for me.
I never celebrated thanksgiving but I love to join a traditional thanksgiving diner one day.
Merry christmas to you and your family
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Christmas card, I think it's my first one! I just did some Christmas shopping for decorations and stuff so I'm totally feeling the christmas spirit now! Happy holidays for you as well!
Comment: Hi Jane!
Thanks for the fun vintage ad card :) Perfect for my collection!!
I LOVE taking my Pomeranian to the dog park! My Jack Russell isn't a dog park dog material as she's too prey-drive driven and goes after every single toy there is whether it's attached to another dog or person or not. Sooo... *sigh* she doesn't get to go so often!!
My cousin lives in SD and loves to take her dogs to the dog beach! I wish we had that here in NJ.. I'll have to see if there are any designated just for dogs! My pom LOVES the beach and I think he'd have a blast!!
Comment: Jane Thank you for the great sparkly teddy bear Christmas. We are going up to the cold country for Thanksgiving. I couldn't believe it was in the 80's today. Also thank you for the postcard. Shirley
Comment: I worked at Quincy Market all through college and after. It used to be filled with small indie stores. Now it is mostly chain stores. But I had lots of fun back in the day - thanks for the pc.
Comment: Hi Jane!
Thank you for the lovely envie full of goodness made from one of your favorite papers! I agree--it's a nice mix of colors and patterns. I'm just thrilled with those tiny hearts in the little pocket--I love them and am going to use them on everything 'til they are gone! Thanks, too, for the nice postcards--especially the whale--they just sing to me!
Comment: You did a great job with putting together your reading log!!! Putting it into booklet format with the pages folded over was ingenious and it's highly probable that I'll borrow that idea. I also liked the postcard :-)
Response: Thanks, I'm glad that you liked it. :-) I actually stole the idea from another swap partner, so I can't take credit for the idea. Feel free to steal away! lol
Comment: Thanks for the swap, Jane! in the future please be sure to read all of the swap requirements before joining. :) I could give a 3 for not sending the required minimum amount of items. i especially like the washi tape, and the little matchbooks.
Response: As I explained to you via email, even though the envelope was completely stuffed, I simply miscounted and only sent you 11 different items instead of 15 different items. I once again apologize and although I've offered to send you additional items and you've declined, I appreciate your 5 rating.
Comment: I love your PC. I can't read the fine print to see what year model this one is but the Caddy looks very similar to one my Grandfather had when I was a little girl. His was green. Thanks, Diane
Comment: Thanks for your swap. I tried the first book in the Deborah Harkness trilogy, but gave up half way through, it was just soooooo wordy for me. I might have liked it if it had been less descriptive. Red Rising is on my TBR. I started it on an audiobook but didn't like the narrator, so I need to just read it at some point.
Comment: OH MY GOODNESS! This card is SO STINKING CUTE. THANK YOU SO MUCH. <3 I am going to be sending it to my grandma for Easter. I LOVE the stickers as well. I have a VW Beetle, so the Love Bug one is PERFECT. <3
Comment: Hey I was going through some items today, and I realized I overlooked yours. Oh my gosh.. thank you so much!! I love them. Especially the Harry Potter one. I did not know they made those. Thank you so much!!
Comment: Thank you so much for your lovely letter and book reviews! Funny thing, I read both books you reviewed, wasn't a big fan of "the ocean at the end of the lane though" :) Anyway, I am going to climb in my pen and send you a proper reply through snail mail!
Comment: Hello Jane,
Thank you for your 3 nice cards you made for me for this swap. I appreciate the variety in the cards--color, style, embellishments, and layering. These will be cards I will use. Thank you also for the ribbon and the postcard about the Legend of Spanish Moss. Those will be nice additions to my ribbon collection and my postcard collection. Lastly, thank you for your patience with me in getting your rating done and your nice note your sent me in regards to my Mom.
Comment: Jane I wish there was a way to rate you higher the card is excellent and beautiful. This will be a part of my collection forever. My heart sunk when I saw Shirley Temple, I still watch her videos over and over. Thank you so very much.
Response: Thank you so much! I am so glad that you like it. I really enjoy making cards and have so much fun doing it. :-)
Comment: Thank you so much for the fantastic coin and the great vintage postcard! I have been to San Diego two months ago but haven't had the time to visit Cabrillo NM. Great that I have a penny from there now :)
Comment: WOW! You are awesome!!! Love, love, love the postcards you sent! They are going to be staying with me! No sending these out to anyone. LOL. I love the vintage style, and thank you for sending them to me! The extra San Diego postcard and bookmark was a special touch, and I thank you! Charmaine
Response: Thank you so much. I'm so glad that you like them! I try to find just the right thing that I think people will like, so I'm so happy when it works out!
Comment: The first one has arrived! I'll re-visit this rating when the rest reaches me! Thanks for the card.
5 Feb - Yeay! The second envie arrived. Well worth the wait! Thanks for the awesome postcards.
Comment: Hi Jane, You did a lovely job on the homemade card. You send it quick and I still have to work on my cards! I work too but my holidays were filled with family ugh! Thanks for the awesome metal extras how generous! I hope you have a great day!
Comment: I saw this and I was really scared to open it! It was soooo made for me and I absolutely loved it! and the postcards... OMG! infinite thanks dear!!! <3
Response: I'm so glad that you liked it! I had such a great time making it. My friend was with me when I mailed it and did a double-take of the envelope as I was putting it in the mail box. Her reaction was so funny. :-)
Comment: OMG- Jane, this card is so pretty. I love it so much. Crap, I don't know if I can ever send it to someone. I may have to frame it. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the chevron tape and the paper. I am taking a mixed media class soon, and I am totally going to use it!!!
Response: Thank you so much. I'm so glad you like it. :-) I was also hoping you'd like the chevron stuff I included. I was just glad that I had some to share with you.
Comment: What a surprise to get your postcard when my family got home from our Christmas holiday yesterday. My 17 year old son is leaving tomorrow to fly to San Diego for three weeks on a school trip. He will be staying with a host family for 10 days.
Thank you for your well health wish also.
Comment: Thanks for a great postcard. I have seen the photograph but I never knew there was a statue of it. Merry Christmas and a great new year!
Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! The statute is huge, and sits next to the Midway aircraft carrier. The original statute was leased by the city for a really long time, and when the lease was up, the statute had to be returned. Everyone was so sad to see it go, that a replica of the statute was commisioned and now it's a permanent fixture. It is really, really big, and I walk by it every day during my lunchtime walk and still get a kick out of it. :-)
Comment: Many thanks for this funny, unusual card! Nice to hear you liked your visit to The Netherlands! Did you visit the windmills of Kinderdijk? (That's rather nearby my house). Happy holidays.
Response: I'm so glad that you liked it. :-) I was only able to see Amsterdam on this visit, and the countryside through the train window as I traveled there from Belgium. I definitely want to go back to explore more of the country.
Comment: Thanks so much for the envelopes, I love the collage paper that you used, I have the same paper pack but it's so cute I don't want to use it yet, I just like to look at it!
Response: I'm so glad that you like the paper. I think it's really pretty too. I also have the same problem with liking craft items so much that I don't want to use them. I have to remind myself that I bought it to USE, and to stop being so attached and use it all up! :-)
Comment: Thanks for the glittery card, the recipe, and the extras. This year we got an early start on winter--snow and temps in the teens since early November. The guys were already out ice fishing before Thanksgiving.
Comment: Love your envies! The paper you used is very nice, probably the best handmade envies I have received so far. Thank you also for the little felt snowflakes. I am making a new felt Advent Tree for my kids for next year (I didnt finish in time for this year) and these will make cute decorations on it. Thank you! <3
Response: I'm so glad that you liked the envelopes. I had a lot of fun making them. I'm so glad the felt snowflakes will work for your project! I think they are really cool. :-)
Comment: Whoops, wrote that last comment on the wrong one! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the raven postcard. If I could give you about 5 hearts I would! I love the Harry Potter stamps. I actually bought 2 sets of them for myself and am buying a floating frame for them! I have a Maleficent themed bedroom so the raven is PERFECT and fits in wonderfully with the rest of my raven art. This is by far the best postcard I've received!! Thanks so much!
Comment: Hello. I'm embarrassed to admit that I believe your swap was mistakenly thrown out. I don't know if I did it or if my boyfriend did it when we cleaned off the kitchen table but I think it did get thrown out =( I did receive and open it but I was in a time crunch and planned to rate later that night. I've been cleaning and trying to find it and I realized that I shouldn't keep you waiting for your rating when it's my mistake in the first place. If I am able to find your swap I will edit this rating. I am very, very sorry about this.
Comment: Hello Jane! Thank you for the lovely green tea postcard you sent to me for the swap. You put me into the mood to have a nice hot cup of tea. So soothing & comfortable as it cool here for a few days in Florida. Happy Autumn & happy October to you!
Comment: OMG!!! This honestly is one of my most favourite swaps i've ever gotten from someone... I really feel like you completely got my personality down pat here. when I first pulled it out of the mail box I was like awwh those are cute sock monkey stickers than I flipped it over and saw batman and was like omg omg! haha I did not want to open this envelope it was so pretty but I carefully opened it and just fell in love. I love the postcards I've been looking for batman postcards for sooo long now and can't find them anywhere. You did an amazing job on your little envelope and I love the bat's and everything else I just love it all thank you so much I will definitely add this to my batman collection thank you so much you really made my entire day:D
Response: I'm so glad that you liked it. I had a lot of fun doing this swap as I love comics and Batman in particularly, so it was fun to share that interest with someone that I knew would appreciate it. :-)
Comment: thank you for the lovely postcard! i've never been to san diego, so it was great to see such a pretty picture... also, i hope that you feel accomplished after spending the weekend organizing!!! xx
Comment: Thank you Jane for the San Diego elongated coin. Those machines are getting harder to find, but I did find a website that lists them. Not sure how updated it is at www.pennycollector.com
thanks again, darla
Response: You're welcome. Thanks for the website. I was wondering if there was one like that, as I had a really hard time finding this one and thought it would be helpful if I could look it up. I had the same problem with tyring to buy those little toys in the plastic bubbles that used to be in every movie theater, store and restaurant and are now almost extinct. I couldn't find a website for that either.
Comment: Thanks for the SD postcard. I visited San Diego once about 15 years ago and really enjoyed the city! We are having a batch of cooler beautiful days right now, pulls me out with the dogs for long walks! Happy summer.
Comment: Thanks. It seems we have very similar taste - The Winds of Winter is also my most anticipated book, my husband loves the Joe Abercrombie books and they are somewhere deep in my tbr list as is 11/22/63 :)... you actually made me realise I have to change one of my answers - I'd forgotten how many Charlaine Harris books I've read!
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely Thank You Card. I will enjoy sending it to someone special. And the extras! I am already thinking of how to use the postcards with the grandsons. Thanks ever so much.
Comment: Hello Jane,
Thank you for the 5 fabulous postcards you sent me for this swap. All the postcards fit into things I love. All these postcards will be added to my Postcard Collection with excitement. Thank you again for adding greatly to my Postcard Collection.
P.S. Thank you for the stickers.
Comment: Seriously an amazing package - defiantly made my day. Lovely stickers, envis, postcards (my son Michale loved the Batman one), & those lovely mason jars were my absolute favorite ; )
THANKS SO MUCH
Comment: Thanks for the neat selection of cards. I love them along with the extra's for scrap booking. I am scrap booking Easter photo's for the grand daughters and they love the bunny cut outs! Thanks again!
Comment: maxbenleo 05/24/2014 # [delete]
Thank you very much for your package, Love your things and from the postcards I want to come and visit!!! Thank you for swaping and I hope you will like what I sent too😊 best wishes!!
Comment: I absolutely love the postcard. And i received a postcard from the same collection yesterday :D and it's about monsters inc. too. I really love that movie so i love both of the postcards. Thank you so much. Have a nice day!
Response: I'm so glad you liked the PC! I love the movie too. It's one of my fave Pixar movies. I love this box of Pixar postcards and have to keep reminding myself that bought them to send out, NOT keep myself. :-)
Comment: Dear Jane (love the name!) - Thank you for your lovely postcard. The illustration is gorgeous - I'm going to but it in my reading journal. The book sounds really interesting and that was a great quote from it - so true. I love finding new books to read, especially series so I'll definately be adding this one to my list. I hope you do get to visit Australia one day. I'm planning on travelling with the family to USA in 2016 (fingers crossed). All the best and happy swapping. Jane x (jep1068)
Response: Thank you, I'm so glad you liked the PC and quote! The first book takes a bit to get really going because it has to world build and set the stage, but it goes fast after that and the second book is really good. I hope you have a great trip to the USA with your family. :-)
Comment: Thank you SO much for The Adventures of Andre and Wally B postcard from Pixar. I love bees, so I really appreciate this postcard! I hope you and your puppy are well! French Bulldogs are sooo cute!
Response: I'm so glad that you liked it. I love those Pixar postcards! Cora is doing great - we went for a long walk today and she's snoring away at my feet as I type. :-)
Comment: We got your unwanted stickers....and they were very much wanted by me and my daughter! She is busying herself right now, putting the stickers in the mini album!! Thanks so much! Another (wom)mans trash is indeed another (wo)mans treasure!!!
Response: Oh I'm so glad!!! I was hoping that you and your daughter would like them. :-) I actually thought some of them were really cool, I just don't have a use for them since I don't have kids and my nieces and nephews are all adults.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely pink washi card and for the postcard and stickers. I'm so glad you participated in my swap and I hope that you will check out the other colors for this series :-) Happy Swapping!
Comment: Lucky Me to have been assigned to you. Cute envie w/ multiple stamps & sticker/s. I really like the notecards (paisley seahorse-ish and artsy colorful v marks also lovely vintage and modern postcards with sea and city scapes, thank you for the pretty pink butterfly bookmark that you made and this is my first book log and book recommendations list and in a genre that I enjoy but had not listed. Thank you so much GREAT SWAP!!!!!!!.
Comment: Hello Jane and welcome to the land of the ATC. I'm a newbie too, but have been playing around with ATC's for +year. Such a pleasure receiving your blue envelope, ATC and stickers.
Comment: thank you for the Happy Mail. I thought it was strange that that I was getting a Happy Birthday card (my b-day is in August), but then I read the letter and saw that you made the card. I love the die cuts.
Comment: Cress was great! I can't wait for Winter :) I've also read the Ocean at the End of the Lane and quite enjoyed it. I'll have to look up the others - I tried Catcher in the Rye years ago but haven't ever heard of the other two :)
Response: Yes, I liked Cress and am looking forward to reading Winter. For me, Neil Gaimon is hit or miss. I really liked The Ocean at the End of the Lane, but I didn't like American Gods. I didn't read Catcher in the Rye when I was younger, so thought I should make up for lost time. It was ok, but I think I would have probably enjoyed it more when I was younger. :-)
Comment: Thank you for the email ! I love all the stories behind it ! lovely dog and I am so jealous of you :( I wish I could go to the ocean whenever i want ... but it's impossible here =_= the snow is just starting to melt :(
Response: Thank you! I admit, I'm very spoiled having the ocean so close. I feel your pain about the snow, though. I lived in the Midwest my entire life before moving to CA, so I had to suffer rough winters for many, many years. :-) Hang in there. Nothing compares to a beautiful spring and fall. :-)
