Comment: Thank you so much for the resend, I just received it today. Im sorry you had to resend but I really didnt know what happened to the first one.
Thanks for the items, they're all so cute. Again Im sorry you had to send twice. Loved the stamps you put on it too.
Thanks so much
Response: I'm so glad that the re-send arrived! I'm sorry that the first envelope didn't make it to you, but I'm happy that you liked this one! :)
Comment: Hi Amanda, thank you for using unique stamps on the envelope! And thank you for the postcards, stickers, washi samples and Moomin stamps 😍 Thank you for a roll of narrow washi too! I'm just so addicted with washi tape 😆 Thank you for bringing joy with your mail 😊
Comment: Good progress! Thanks for sharing! Why do you need so many freezer meals? Is this your go-to cooking when it's dinnertime? I must investigate! Anything to make life easier! My 11 year old made dinner for us the other day, with me buying the ingredients and giving guidance. It was great! Happy swapping!
Comment: It seems to me that we have more shoes when it is summer - them one needs to have sandals and running shoes and gummy garden shoes and so on, while during winter, each one has just one pair of boots, maybe two. I'm sorry to hear about your back, though. :( Sounds like something my husband was operated for several years ago.
Comment: Good for you with getting so much done! You did get a lot done and should be proud of yourself. Have fun with your girls being home for the week. It may be chaotic but just remember, they do grow up and if you're like me, you'll long for those days back again. : ) Have a great week!
Comment: Well done on your goals. Wished I had a craft room to declutter, but I always have to work on my kitchen table and clean up after crafting. Then it also a big mess, even for only making a card.
Comment: Oh-kay! You've got quite a list! Apart from the Harry Potter series, I have read Enders Game, The Colour of Magic & the Gaiman books except Stardust. I vouch for all of these, & the 1st 4 of the HP series. The last three books are not to my liking.
Comment: You've got some great books on that list! :) I recognized many of your titles. If you can at all stand audio books, I highly recommend the Dresden files (you have book 1, I saw) by Butcher in audio - I'm totally addicted! My daughter is a HUGE Cassandra Clare fan, too, and enjoyed those 'city of' books too. :) Good luck with your list. :)
Comment: I got this swap mixed up with another - so am reposting. I enjoyed the postcards you sent and thanks also for the cute paper doll stickers - they are adorable! Nice postage on your colorful envelope, too.
Comment: Thank you so much!!!! I hope my mail gets to you soon! xx
Response: Yay! I'm glad to know that they've made it safe and sound. If you mean the green planner goodies swap, I rated you for it back in April - and the stamps you used on the envie are super cool! :)
Comment: Dear Amanda, I loved your greeting cards, especially the handmade one, it is STUNNING! Thank you for the ATC sleeves too, they just arrived on time as yesterday I used the last one I had!! Beautiful swap, thank you so, so, so much!!
Comment: Thank you so much for organizing, and for the gorgeous little Christmas pocket letter! I love how you do your notes in a little sewn booklet - I am totally going to steal that idea :) Merry Christmas!!
Comment: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!! (breath) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Oh my gosh Amanda - DR WHO?!!? LOTS AND LOTS OF DR. WHO?!?!? EEEEEEEE and the stunningly gorgeous inchies and the hand sewn ATC?!??! Oh my, oh my. What a beautiful, talented, giving wonderful swapper you are. Thank you so, so much for your generosity. You have made my MONTH.
Response: Yay! I'm so glad that you like them, and that they arrived safely! ♥ I always worry a little extra about mail around the holidays, so I'm very relieved to know that they've made it.
Comment: I don't know if you ended up resending this ornof it just took way longer to get to me than thebother one, but it came in the mail today, which was perfect because it's the 1st! I love the swap cards and the address labels! I'm so glad that this one got to me 😃
Response: I'm so glad that it made it safely, and that you liked it! It is indeed the original send. So strange that it arrived after the other, when it was sent two days before it, and from the same post box even! I don't think I'll ever understand the oddities of the postal system. :P
Comment: Thank you so very much for this amazing looking envelope!! Then, we opened and found all the brilliant address labels!! And, beautiful altered playing card! Wow! Thank you so much. Have a fantastic Christmas ðŸŽðŸŽ„🤶
Comment: Amanda, thanks for the really nice assortment of items you sent. That bunny notecard is adorable. Kudos to Canadapost for the awesome Supernatural Stamps. Very cool! I'm not a stamp collector, but these might just get deco'd into my personal journal. Happy swapping with you!
Comment: Hi Amanda! Your gorgeous PL arrived today. It is soooo cute!!!! I love what you made for me! :D
The idea with the stamps is fantastic and you use so adorable stuff to make the decoration! The squirrel-paper is awesome! And I will definitely copy the idea with the ripped paper... :) Thank you so much!!!
And the goodies!
I appraciate you swapped with me!
Comment: One of the most fun stamp packages I have gotten to sort through!!! Every single stamp was clearly picked for me! And there were sooo many!!! Also, I get so excited when I receive Canadian stamps! I send so many stamps out, however, since so many swaps are international, I don't often receive the newer Canadian ones!!
Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you 💙💜💚💛â¤ï¸
Anytime you have more stamps to trade, keep me in mind, I would happily swap with you again.
Comment: What a beautiful pocket letter I found in my mailbox today! I love the rainbow idea you ran with and executed perfectly :) The stamps you used in a few of the pockets was a great idea too! I always forget to use my hoard of postage stamps but I will try to remember to use them in the future as your pockets are very cool. Also, thank you for the extra colouring pages and the address labels too...there are so many! I look forward to swapping with you jn the future...if you ever want to swap again just let me know!
Comment: WOW! You must have a monster collection of ATCs to have sent me so many extras!! I have never received so many cards and liked all of them....but I like just about every single one of these :). Thanks for such an awesome selection and being so generous, my newbie collection just got quite a boost!
Comment: Thank you for the great ATCs! :) I recommend taping all the edges of the envelope, because they were torn and - seemingly - soaked (ink was smudgy, maybe it fell in a puddle somewhere along its journey?). Luckily the ATCs didn't take any damage though!
Comment: thank you; i just received my doctor who 3's apc's in the mail and i did a double-take because i have a package with your name on it, ready for the post, but in the opposite direction! so funny, the way it works.
i suppose it is inevitable that we 'meet' one another over and over…
anyway, i love the cards - they are an inspiration for me as i spent some time figuring out how you did them!
a lovely job, thank you again.
michele 🌺 aka saraphin
Comment: Loved the cards! I like black and white, so it was a perfect combo to all of my colorful apc's for the set.... though i am missing the 8's.... apparently I forgot to sign up for that swap... lol
Comment: Of course I don't mind receiving more ATCs from you, especially when they are so stunning. The stitched one is absolutely amazing. Did you stitch the design yourself? It is an incredible piece of work - thank you so much.
Comment: Thank you so much for another set of adorable Hello Kitty twinchies, I just love these! If you're up for doing a private swap for #2 please let me know. We would both end up with a complete set of similarly decorated twinchies :)
Comment: Great-I do like the altered cards. I like using postage stamps on my stuff too as I have a vast amt of extras in my collection! And now I have more-thanks to you-thanks for the postage stamps and goodies in the little envelope-that deer punch is sooo cute! Thanks for swapping and sharing!
Comment: They are here! I am just stupid :P I totally rated my other partner for yours, and when I went to rate her for her real twinchies, it didn't occur to me what I had done when I found I already rated her...until now. DUH! I'm so sorry, as always they are beautiful and I love what you did the stamps to give them dimension.
Comment: I'm on Khadgar! Viva La Horde! Kennewick is in Eastern Washington - like an hour from Yakima and 2 hours from Spokane. :) PS LOVE The ATC's! I'm new to them so these are awesome for my little collection!
Comment: Amanda ~ I love the Bette Davis ATC - I really like how you did the B&W and then using the color stamp. And of course I love the DC ATC with my favorite monuments in DC - the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial. Thanks so much for the lovely ATCs ~~ happy imagineering!
Comment: Hi Amanda, thank you for the ATCs! Especially the one you've made of the postage stamps is great; maybe you took a look in my profile :-) Thank you for the extras too, will use them in my ATCs.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely ATCs which arrived today. I especially love the one with the big green dragon! He looks like he is challenging the dragon on the gorgeous postage stamp to a firey feud. I love the other one too, with the bright stripey background and reals stamps popping out, just like a 3D scenic view!
Comment: I love your Inchies on a Twinchies are once again adorable! I really like how you tied them together with the other swap but were able to make them different. I will enjoy adding them to the others in my collection. Thanks for a great swap.
Comment: You did a great job with the Red Love postage stamp. I really am not into patriotic stuff, and I would keep the patriotic one you did, no question about it. It too was great. I hope you see that as a compliment not a complaint.
Comment: I love these twinchies so much! The way you used stitching around the Tiffany lamp stamp sets it off beautifully. That cake! Your background and embellishments are perfect. And what can I say...l'ensemble...so sweet! Please forgive the late rating, and thank you so much for contacting me...the twinchies were already in my display binder!
Comment: Thanks for the great ATC of the Second Doctor (I love the sort of timey-wimey black & white background to go with him perfectly). And thanks for the extras. I can never have enough owl stickers!
Response: You are very welcome - glad you like him! :)
Comment: thank you for the great atcs as always!! thank you for the halloween goodies too!
ps-- yup i am alive and sleeping somewhat enough to function.
Response: You are so very welcome - I'm always happy to create something Halloween-ish for a fellow Halloween fan! Hope that you get to sleep through the night again soon...that's always a stage of baby development to celebrate! ;)
Comment: Love these!! Sorry this took so long. Being out of town + Hurricane Sandy has killed my memory. We survived (barely) but the house is in one piece. Power took a bit, and now it is back to the grind. Hope all is well with you! See you in the next round!
Response: So glad that they arrived, and that all is (mostly) okay on your end! Go go, Doctor Who swaps! :)
Comment: Thanks so much for hosting this swap. It's always nice to get to try new recipes and so much more comforting to try ones that you know other people already like:) Now I have lots to choose from.
Response: Thank you for joining! I'm hoping to do a ton of baking on my husband's next day off - time to try as many of these awesome new recipes as possible! :D
Comment: Wow, that was fast!! (Just don't tell me you already bought all of your holiday gifts!!!) The cookies all sound so good!!! Thanks for sharing!! : )
Response: You're very welcome - thank you for the kind rating! :) (I'm done about half of my shopping at this point and am getting the rest done on Monday - does that count? ;) Waiting on web-ordered goodies and have to buy the rest in town!)
Comment: Thank you very much, that just made my day! I found out today that I can't visit interesting lecture about Higgs boson which is tomorrow, because I have work at that time - and your cards made me happy again :) And thanks for the extras too.
Response: You are so very welcome - glad they helped to make up for the disappointment a little! :)
Comment: So my sister apparently took up your envelope with her bills, but it has been found!! I thought it was weird that they took so long to get here. But thank you so much!!! They are great. This next swap will go much quicker now that mid-terms are over!!
Response: You are very welcome - thanks for the kind rating! Hope your mid-terms went well. :)
Comment: Thanks for three clever Twinchies! Nate will love the Cars one--may have to give it to him when he next uses scissors and glue to make some art. The extras are perfect for my "Tim Holtz" addiction--especially like that they are in French which I can still read, SLOWLY, but once did well enough to make a B in a French literature college course. One retirement goal is to restore my ability to read French. Thanks for a nice swap and I hope your week is going nicely!
Response: You're very welcome - so glad that you like them! My French comprehension has gone down the tubes too...I used to be almost-fluent and now I can scrape by if it is spoken simply and slowly, lol! ;)
Comment: Ooh - Halloween loving in my mailbox today :) Thank you for the great ATC's Amanda - I love the creepy doll in a bottle one :) Man, my craftroom is gonna be pimped with all kinds of awesome goodies - incl the rat you used as the note ;) The tiny stickers will come in handy for some inchies. As per usual - nice swapping with you :)
Comment: Great Twinchies...really cute theme...the Sherlock Holmes business card was a hoot, and I loved the vintage look paper with woman and her crystal ball. I have one of those...grin. Thanks for a wonderful swap.
Comment: Thank you so much for the fairy stamps and the adorable baby stickers - the stickers are even cuter in person! I'll have to stick some on an ATC or an envelope that I send to you in the future. They are so sweet! Thanks for swapping with me!
Comment: As usual, lovely ATC's, and such a nice variety of them too. I especially love the orange flower on red background (such vivid colours!), the moodiness of the house and the Viking-esque one, and of course, that you included Mother Theresa! I've been quite inspired by her humility, gentleness and service to others. Thanks for another great swap!
Comment: Thanks for putting the date on the card! We have a similar church here, though not done by FLW. (Although, we have a TON of FLW stuff here!) It's #5 in this very interesting list: http://villageofjoy.com/20-unusual-churches-part-ii/
Comment: Hello Amanda,
Thank you for the colorful ATC you created for me for this swap. I like that you used a favorite movie instead of just a name of a thing. I will happily add this ATC to my A-Z is for ....ATC Series. I have enjoyed swapping with you.
Comment: Thanks so much for the more than generous envelope of goodies. For some reason the "Send in the Clowns" clown looks familiar to me...don't ask me why! I loved how you made the envelope out of a recipe page!
Comment: Thanks my generous friend for all of the ATCs you sent. I especially liked the ones you drew. The others were an added treat. I rec'd several swaps today but left yours for last knowing it would be the best. Thank you.
Comment: Hello Amanda,
Thank you for your lovely ATC you created for me for this swap. I love the use of sewing on this ATC. It added sophisication to this ATC. I also like the different shades of brown you featured on this ATC that was to be all about the color brown. I look forward to adding this to my Color Series. It will be a nice addition.
Comment: Love the ATC, Amanda! I want to try the machine sewing method at some point - I really like the look! Thanks for the flower embellishments, and I'm going to use that sweet puppy image from your card for something, too - so cute! Thanks for hosting this series - it's been great. Hugs!
Comment: Hello Amanda,
Thank you for a very cool ATC that you created for me for this swap. I love the background you created. It looks like the interesting water an octupus might live in. This ATC will be a great addition to my A-Z is for.....ATC Series.
P.S. Thank you for the punch out flowers you sent along. I know I will be able to use them.
Comment: Of course I just love the ATC! Along with the extra goodies! I saw your envelope in the p.o. box and was like 'oh, amanda sent me something! yay! ' LOL I can always tell its you by your awesome homemade envies!
Comment: I'm so glad you got my name again! I wondered if it was you when I saw the envelope. I want to learn to do that! Now I feel like I have a matching set of Doctor WHo ATC's!! They are so cool. Thanks so much - and for the goodies, too!
Comment: The dingo would. Have. Been. AWESOME! But your idea and your composition was awesome even without a dingo. Now, if the dingo had been earting a...oh, NM. I won't even go there. :D Thank you so much my dear!
Comment: Just received my ATC's. Wow, I love them. The horror one was a great idea!! Showed the hubby and he LOVED it too. And I didn't even tell you how much I love Judy Garland! Thank you so much for the extra papers. <3's <3's and more <3's
Comment: Thank you for the ATC's they are lovely. I love the little sleeves you had them in as well. Very cool. Thank you for the extras well. I even love your envelope! Very cool mail altogether! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you so much for the great postcard. I love the texture, the vintage feel, the autumn theme, and of course, your sweet note too! Thank you also for checking in see if it arrived - cheers! :o) Ainslie
Comment: Love the ATC...great background and I love that you used postage stamps ...they're a favourite for me.I like the way you recycled for the ATC envelope and the outer envelope.I can't wait to use the book pages.
Comment: Both of the ATC's i recieved were so fantastic that I had to share them with everyone in my hosehold. And needless to say they all loved them as much as I did. you did a fantastic job! Thank you so much!
Comment: Six will now be my lucky number... Very nice arc still trying to figure out the sparkly finish..please tell Kaia I love her princess card !! Tell her thank you and that she gets two hearts!! From me and it will have a special place in my collection book!!
Comment: Fantastic job on your overall!!! You put me to shame :D Lol Dont mind the temporary lapses-just focus on the fact that it's a life term thing and nothing rushed can fix a habit that's going to be done over a life time :)
Comment: my weapon of choice was a machete, preferably long so there is significant amount of space between the zombies & i. ;) & 'A realist who tries to be optimistic.' THAT IS ME! so many people say that i'm a pessimist. but i always say i'm a realist and just don't sugarcoat things to make me or others feel better. loved your answers!
Comment: Hi, thanks a lot for your ATC - I like it very much, especially because it is my first ATC from a swap :) I think I can create pretty things with your other items you sent to me. Happy New Year
Comment: Amanda, I feel absolutely spoiled and seeing that one of the ATC's you sent was made a while ago only makes me feel a fraction better. These are 3 gorgeous ATC's, and the inchies on top of that is like whipped cream and cherry on top of a sundae. Thank you so much!
Comment: Congrats on being under your goal weight. What a great feeling!
Response: Thank you! I was REALLY happy to make my Halloween goal with room to spare. :) I still have ~13lbs to go 'til my ultimate goal weight, but I've been keeping up with my little goals along the way, so I'm quite satisfied with my progress. :D
Comment: Blythe arrived today and I loooove her! I'm thinking she might look like a "Meredith" but haven't decided yet... I've been looking at knitting and crochet patterns so I can dress her - thank you so much! And thanks for the great inchies - thank you for suggesting this swap! I am going to love my new Blythe doll forever! :)
Comment: Thanks for the sweet comment and adorable pic. My favorite place so far was Mexico, but I think it was much because of the style of trip. When I've gone to Mexico, it has been for somewhat strenuous volunteer work - building septic tanks for an orphanage, or offering educational programs and medical care to migrant workers, or such.
Comment: Thanks for the great PC of Dolphins stadium. I'm not much of a sports fan, but I think sports PCs are fun! Have you purchased Isa's new book yet? I haven't but I covet it!
Response: I so wish I could snag that book, but alas, it's pointless for me - I officially can't eat gluten now. :( I have to figure out baking all over again...maybe one day, I'll figure it out. I hope you are able to get it soon, and that it works out well for you - I shall live vicariously through you! ;)
Comment: thank you for postcard, Amanda! And for stamp especially :) I'm almost content by my first swap as hoster (my second card can't get to destination and I'm worry :( ) .. I hope once I'll do another one with this theme :) Thanks again!
Comment: Papa ooma mow mow, a papa ooma mow mow. LOL It's a catchy one :-D LOVE your ATC! Thanks for passing the song, too. It takes me months to get rid of it. My husband will be happy to see Take It Off by Ke$ha go away though. lol
Comment: I absolutely adore the green ATC you made, it's one of most unique in my collection. The bird card is amazing too :) You have some serious talent!! Thanks so much for doing this trade with me!
Comment: Hi there! Sorry for the delayed rating. I have been super busy with graduation and your card easily could've gotten slipped away with me forgetting to rate. I have received way too much stuff to try to go through and look for it, and I definitely know you sent it if you said you did. Sorry for the confusion!
Comment: Thanks for two terrific ATCs! I'm intrigued by the possibility of using a sewing machine. It looks to me that you didn't use any adhesive on that ATC-- am I correct?
Response: Glad you like them! :) I used minor bits of adhesive - some to stick the two base layers together, and a tiny dot to keep the stamps from sliding while I stitched. I love used postage stamps, so I was happy to find a way to share them & craft at the same time! :)
Comment: Thanks for another nice set of inchies. Love the postage stamp one (of course), the fireworks one is very clever, and the old fashion food bottle is gorgeous! Thanks for the beautiful feather bookmark too!
Comment: Thank you so much Amanda ! Oddly enough this is my first pomegranate card. I am actually reading all of Naguib Mahfouz's books right now. He was probably the most famous modern Egyptian author.
Comment: Love the card. Very quirky. Summer is not over until it snows in Minnesota. We should have another couple of months to enjoy. I'm looking foreword to the State Fair in a couple of weeks. Cheers
Comment: Thank you so much the the varied atcs and inchies. Good job at cutting in right under the thickness requirements! As our swap states my end will be on its way to you (and your oldest daughter) soon!
Comment: Hi! Thanks so much for the Pink ATC with the stamps - very cool! Thanks for the extra goodies as well! It has been soooo hot here - please send some of your rain! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Wow - thanks for the three lovely ATCs! You were beyond generous! The skull with the hat is pretty funny (although it took me a minute to figure him out). I love that postage stamp -- it is so peaceful and serene. The Asian lady is beautiful (love the way you did the flower). Always a pleasure swapping with you! <3<3<3
Comment: Thanks for another great set of inchies. I particularly like the toucan one! Thanks for the marmot card (what a cutie) and another foxy stamp. And your owl paper-piecing is fabulous -- lots of work, great colors, and nice assembly detail. Love everything! <3<3<3
Comment: Thank you so much for the great sewn Christmas ATC! I love it and it is the first one I have received that was sewn :) Thank you also for sending an angel ATC for a flaked swap. You're the best!!!!
Comment: Again - the lovely smell - hmmm. The ATC's are awesome - love them :) Joyful skeletons and creepy old wizards just make my day - hahaha :) Thanks a mil. The flowers are lovely too - didya make 'em? Thanks for a great swap hon.
Comment: How do your swaps always smell so good?! Love love love the ATC's :) The Asian one is great and you made me want to go to San Francisco 'just because'. Thanks for being a great swap partner :)
Comment: Love the ATC Card! I really like the skull with the patriotic hat and receiving it right before July 4th! How coincidental! You did a beautiful job - thank you! Oh! and thank you for the extra little flowers - really like them :)
Comment: I finally got these today, there was a mix up at a PO somewhere and they got sent to a totally random lady who graciouslly packaged and mailed them to me!! So glad there are nice people left in this world!! And the inchies are gorgeous by the way..lol
Response: What a ride for the poor inchies - I'm so glad that they made it to you safely after all! (Thanks, mystery lady!) Thank you for the kind rating. :)
Comment: I really loved my two ATCs. The one with the stamp is really cute, I love that you sewed it! (I will have to try that!) The child one is beautiful. I really love it! the glitter adds so much to it! I also really love the envelope and the di cuts and can't wait to use them. Happy Swapping!
Response: So glad that you like them - thanks for the heart! :) I hope that you love swap-bot just as much as I do! ♥
Comment: Thank you for the great inchies - and thank you for sending an extra one! Are these all punches that you own? If so, we might have to set up a swap for some crowns and filligree flowers! Thanks again - I love them!
Response: Oh, how I wish I owned those punches - those punchies came as extras in swaps! I've been hunting for a good crown punch, but no luck so far. I'm going to have to eBay I think...or stalk the restockers at my local Michael's, lol! ;)
Comment: Thank you so much for the pc, I really like it. I would love to do another private swap if you are up for it.
Response: I'm game anytime - my only issue is Canada Post's looming probable strike. :( Beyond that, I'm happy to do a one-on-one swap whenever! I will PM you as soon as this strike nonsense clears up! :D Thanks for swapping with me!
Comment: Thanks for the super duper postcard!!! Its going up on my 'random wall' ( a wall where I blue tack postcards and other nice stuff I get in the mail- I'm well on track to fill my whole wall!) xx
Comment: Your mystery microfiction.. reminded me a lot of my younger days.. always looking for a great apartment on a budget.. Hope you continue with your writting.. I love this kind of swap.. HUGS Many Thanks. :D
Comment: Thank you for the inchies - fantastic as always! And thanks a lot for the mini memo sheets! It's so funny - someone sent me one of the same design in a swap a while back and I tried to explain to her which one I liked (the one with the BUBBLES) and she just didn't understand - so THANKS for sending me a few extra!
Comment: Thanks for the fun slices! They're so cute and teeny! :D Thanks for swapping with me!
Response: Haha, perfect timing, that both ends would arrive at the same time! I'm always amazed with how detailed the canes can be when they're so itty-bitty - hope you have fun crafting with them! Always a pleasure to swap with you. :)
Comment: Thanks for the ATC! By the way, the Royal Wedding stamp became a lovely piece of altered art via the cancellation stamp: The "PO" of postal has given William a nice pair of glasses, and the "S" is branded across Kate's forehead :D
Comment: Such a cute hand-drawn ATC. You deserve a heart just for having got the spacing so bang on! If I try to write on my ATC's, my lines veer up and down :-( Please tell your 4 year old that I love the stickers, and I'm sure I can find a use for them. I picture the hot air balloon soaring above some mountains on an ATC ...
Comment: Thanx for the twinchies! I just adore the Bird one b/c I love birds and botanicals right now!! My 2nd fav't is the pretty flower! Happy Swapping!! And Easter, too! I got 6 envies here on my b/day!
Comment: Thank you for the cute inchies. :) I love the one with the felt flower!
FYI, all the bead type add-ons fell off (probably in rough handling by the mail). If you have a picture on flickr or your blog, I'll put them back together.
Response: Oh gosh, that's depressing - I'm so sorry that happened to you, Alicia! I'll attempt to mummify anything bumpy I send in the future. D: Here is a link to my blog post with the picture: http://marrythcrafts.blogspot.com/2011/04/random-stuff.html
Comment: Thank you! I wonder where you got the furry foot from!
Response: You're very welcome - thank you for the heart! ♥ I'm afraid I'm no help on the furry foot; I received it with a bunch of other random embellishments in a private swap. If I should ever come by them elsewhere, I'll let you know! :)
Comment: Thanks so much for the porn for women PC. We carry these at my bookstore, the books actually. There's one for women of a certain age, & one for new moms, which are quite funny & stereotypical. Yeah, he isn't my type, nor is the meal, but it's nice when my man cooks for me. Thank you for hosting these fun swaps. Happy Spring!
Comment: many thanks for the water color rockets......I have been working on some Martian ATCs.....and love your idea....I just stamp, cut out and color.....no good on the watercolors or painting....thanks again, Aubrey
Comment: I love these ATC's! You take such care with each-I can see that. I think my favorite is the topical house. And I love the was you've done the lines of gold on the sphrinx! Thank you, We'll definititely do another one!
Comment: I'm always thrilled to see you as my swap partner! This set of inchies was wonderful, as expected. The mirror fragment is awesome! Love the perfectly stitched cross-stitch. And thanks for using postage stamps (both on my inchie and on my envelope) <3<3<3
Response: Thank you for the lovely comment - it really means a lot, coming from you! :) I'm so glad that you like them. I always try to use stamps rather than metered postage; they make me happy! ;)
Comment: I love the ATC...so cute :) and thank you with all my heart for the whale picture that belonged to your Grandma! I am buying a frame for it & it will hold a special place in my heart as well. It really means a lot to me. Thank you!
Response: I'm so glad that it arrived safely and that you like it! It's definitely in the right place now - I'm happy that it's with you. :)
Comment: What wonderful needlework. I've done some plastic canvas stuff, (so I know how long it takes) but not the fine work you do. I am thrilled to have such a beautiful & different addition to my collection. Stay warm up there.
Comment: Hi Amanda! Thank you very much for the zentangle inchies! I also love that little frog card you sent with them. What an adorable frog! Plus, I have 3 sets of inchies you made now! Great minds must inchie alike!
Comment: thank you for the awesome etsy faves! I cant wait to try the whipped cream clay with the new cabs i just got!!! The other little mini "things" are very cute! They would be awesome for inchies! I might have to share a few!!!! Thanks for an awesome package!!
Response: I'm so glad that you like them! I've been eye-ing things on that Etsy seller's shop since picking up yours - I might have to buy some slices for myself, haha. Inchies were exactly the use I had in mind too! :D
Comment: Thank you for the fabulous set of inchies! So cool that you do fabric and beaded ones -- love them! I used to do lots of cross-stitch before my hands became arthritic. You stitches are perfect! Thanks for doing this private swap with me. Hope to swap with you again soon!
Comment: WOW! I love everything you and your daughter sent to me! Please tell her thank you and that I especially loved her drawing! That really warmed my heart! I love kids! I'd love to do another private swap with you sometime in the future, Amanda, if you're interested? Please let me know! :)
Response: I'm so glad that you like it all - I told Kaia, and she's super happy now! :) I'll gladly do another swap with you in the future - maybe April-ish? Trying to behave with postage (to a degree), haha. ;) Thanks for swapping!

Comment: Oh my gosh! These ATCs are AMAZING! I keep trying to pick a favorite, but I can't because every time I flip through them I decide that each one is my favorite, haha! You did a fantastic job; I can see how much work you put into these cards! I only hope that you like mine half as much as I like yours! Thanks so much :-)
Response: I'm so glad that you like them - it makes the effort worthwhile. :) Makes me smile to know that my partner enjoys my ATCs!
Comment: Loved the inchies and thanx to you're four year old for her artwork, she deserves a heart too! Can i have you're addy so i can send her something in return and her likes and dislikes?
Lot's of hearts for the both of you!
Comment: How nice to meet you at the mailbox again! I love the Valentine gift bags and I'm very anxious to try the herbal tea. Thank you, too, for the festive socks and floss as well! I know that I will enjoy it all. Thank you very much!
Comment: Ah! I love it! I can't believe all of the little stitches...I would simply die. It's so pretty and SPARKLY! Thank you so much for the beautiful card and for swapping with me! <3 <3 <3
Response: I'm so glad that you like it - thank you for the heart! ♥ The sequined ATCs I make from time to time take around ~4 hours to make total, but they're fun to do, too...and they're different, which works for me! ;)
Comment: Thanks again! It was pretty funny to get me again, but I love your doodle inchies as well! I happened to get the same person for two swaps in a row myself.
Response: I'm glad they arrived safely - thank you for the heart! I swear, the 'bot loves matching certain people over and over, as I've had that happen a few times lately with inchie and ATC swaps. :P
Comment: Thanks for the Florida PC! I could use their weather right now - I'm tired of winter!
I LOVE the cupcakes from Vegan Cupcakes! My husband made a huge batch for our wedding last October!
Response: Thank you for the heart! Oh, how I wish my hubby would go vegan...but I love him anyway. ;) I'd be happy enough if he'd make me vegan cupcakes! (He IS awesome about picking me up random vegan treats when he spots them though, which is great.) I've been baking my way through Isa's vegan cookie book as of late, but I need to start crackin' on the cupcake one - my birthday is later this month, so I have an excuse! (But really, who needs an excuse for cupcakes? Yum!)
Comment: Your lovely postcard has arrived - thank you! :) And yay for being vegan! My cookbook collection is grossly huge, and I just got Isa's Appetite For Reduction for my birthday. Hoarding cookbooks isn't the worst habit to have, I suppose. :)
Comment: Very, very cool inchies! Love them all! Of course my favorite ones are the cross-stitched ones that spell my NAME! You have inspired me to try some different techniques - let me know if you ever want to do a private inchie swap again! I'm signed up for your next "dozen inchies" swaps! Thanks for trading with me!
Response: I'm so glad that you like them! To be honest, I was a little intimidated in sending to you - yours are gorgeous! - so it's a relief to know that you like 'em. :) I'd definitely love to do a private inchie swap in the future!
Comment: WOW! I love the ATC's. You did a wonderful job. These ATC's are the first cross-stitching I've ever received in SB. How long does it take you to make one ATC? Thank you and many hearts to you!
Response: I'm so glad that you like them - thank you for the heart! :) Usually, cross-stitched ATCs (like yours) take me about one and a half~two hours a pop...I've done a few fully-needleworked ATCs lately though, and those have been 7-8 hours EACH. I'm crazy, I think! ;)
Comment: I LOVE MY NEW ATCs! You are the best. I hope we can swap again!
Response: I'm so glad that you like them! I've been doing WAY too much needlework lately...my hands and lower arms are killing me, but I keep doing needleworked ATCs! I'd love to swap with you again once I get a few swaps knocked off the dashboard. :) Looking forward to receiving your ATCs!
Comment: Thanks so much for the pretty postcard & for the Power Puff Girls sticker. And for the reminder that I too need to make me-time for myself, so my boys don't get every ounce of my energy. "Write it down, make it happen" is something I believe in. Good luck to you! :)
Response: Thank you, and thanks for the heart! It really is too easy to give every fiber of our being to our kids, isn't it? I'm slowly trying to get a little me-time, and making a little ground. :)
Comment: Hi Amanda, Thank you for the very interesting card that I received today..The Desert, a good choice..
Response: You're very welcome; thank YOU for the heart! :) I'm still trying to think warm thoughts and will summer to get here quicker...we've gotten a ton of snow over the past few days, and I'm sick of it and the cold. :P
Comment: Thanks! I agree both ATCs and inchies can be entirely too addictive. I hadn't done inchies in a while (last binge I made a few hundred...I have a problem...) but I'm making them again lately. Oh no! lol
Response: You're very welcome - thanks for the heart! They really are horribly addictive. I've been on a major ATC binge lately, but inchies are on the go as well. :D Thank you for swapping with me!
Comment: Thanks, the recipe sounds so good I can't wait to make them :)
Response: Thank you for the heart! They are pretty good, in my opinion...in fact, I think I just might have to make them today myself! :D I was pleasantly surprised - the recipe actually came home with my daughter from school in one of their healthy food handouts.
Comment: Loved the quote you put on your card (about how life is like a coin). My resolutions... get healthy and get motivated! You?
Response: I'm glad you liked it - thank you for the heart! :) My goal for this year is to take better care of myself...I have an intense case of mom-itis and never bother with doing things for myself, so I figure I should work on that, haha. :P Need to make a little time for myself, buy myself some new things once in a while and such. One step at a time! Good luck with your goals. :)
Comment: Was nice to see you leave a comment on my page! ;) The cruise is going to Grand Cayman, Cozumel in Mexico, Belize, and Honduras. I have never been to any of those places, and I am very excited. I hope the water is warm! I want to swim!
Comment: Thanks a lot for reading my profile and adding your comment.
I actually do not collect the cards I get but I keep them. I decorate our one bathroom wall with cards. So visitors to the loo have something interesting to see :o)
Comment: If I'm not mistaken, I send you something from another swap or tag...and used lots of orange :) As far as rubber stamps, I recommend getting unmounted ones; they generally cost 40 percent less, so you can get more for your $$, and take much less room for storage. Check out vivalasvegasstamps.com...they've got LOTS of great stuff and a gallery and info. It's one of my favorite sites.
Comment: Recipe sounds great, the postcard is so cute. Thanks!
Response: Thanks for the heart! ♥ I actually got the recipe from my daughter's school, and made them (vegan-ized) myself, not expecting much...they're pretty good, and they smell AWESOME when they're baking! :) I'm all for healthy snacks that taste good, haha.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful fairy. Its gorgeous. At the moment it is pouring rain and we have had hail too.
Response: You're very welcome; I'm glad you enjoyed it! I think I'd rather have rain than what we're dealing with now - it went from rather mild to absolutely freezing! -40°C days here and there are just plain unacceptable, but it's going to get worse - ick!
Comment: Did you ever get your hand-drawn-glittery-flame-throwing-aardvark? And how are you doing with the smoking pony?
Response: Unfortunately, no - I suppose I should go back and rate my partners with a three? :P Smoking pony is going to live with my partners, so all is well! (Oh, how I love this swap - and thank you for the rate! ♥)
Comment: What a sweet little card. I love watching the birds in my yard. Then I opened the sweet little card and the little teddy bear stickers fell out! They are simply adorable! Thanks! Happy Holidays!
Comment: Hi Amanda, thanks sooooo much for the beautiful Christmas ATC card,it must have taken you a long time to make it.You deserve more than one heart.Have a lovely Christmas Kind regards ElsD
Response: You're very welcome; thanks for the heart! I'm glad you like it - it definitely took a long time to make (around four hours for one, and I've made several in the same vein) but having happy partners makes the effort worthwhile. :) Happy holidays!
Comment: Wow! I couldn't resist and opened up everything (hehe)! Thank you so so much Amanda! I love everything! You went above and beyond the swap! I love all the dvds and the blythe dress and stickers! Adorable! Do let me know if you'd ever be interested in a private swap! ♥
Response: I'm so glad it arrived safely and that you liked it! :) I'd happily do a private swap with you after the madness of the holidays passes. :D
Comment: Hey girlie! How are you doing? I have not received your pc yet and I am guessing you have not received mine - what the heck is going on with the mail? Sorry to read about your issues with milk products, that is such a bummer! Hang in there! ;)
Response: No sign of the PC yet on my end either, but I'm not too surprised - I wonder what mail sorting rooms look like at this time of year, haha. :P I'm guessing they'll arrive next week. Thanks! I'm alive, and it could be worse, but it's amazing how many things have some form of milk in them...it's taking some getting used to, that's for sure. Thanks for the heart! ;)
Comment: I am also terrified of them, give me a croc any day. Thanks for the lovely pc
Response: Funny related story: When I was in labor with my now three-month-old, the hospital gave me a shot to help with the pain and sent me home since I wasn't quite far enough along yet. As hubby and I rounded a corner outside, walking to the parking lot, we walked into a massive flock of geese. I was laugh-crying and near hysterical (between my fear and the effects of the shot), hanging off his arm with my eyes closed 'til we got to the car, hahah. Thanks for taking the time to rate! ♥
Comment: Why thank you!
Oh, you should totally watch vampires suck if you're not a fan of twilight! I watched that the other night and was laughing the entire time! It's exactly how I saw twilight! Rude comments and random trains of thought included :P I wish I'd have just skipped watching twilight and waited for that film to come out :P
Oooh good luck with your cross stitch project! If you have any problems, or you want some tips, just send me a message. Do you already have your kit?
Thank you again. Mitzy's probably the happiest he's ever been. He's currently laying in his own arm chair, bleary eyed from sleep contemplating whether he wants to go back to sleep, get up for food or cross the chair arm and stand on my laptop for fusses :P
I'm glad you rescued your dog. Too many people don't care about animals and it's not right. I get soooo mad at them! But it's always comforting to read that someone else has rescued. ^_^
Response: Thank you for the rating! ♥ I haven't bought any cross-stitch supplies yet - I'm too busy buying things for other people, haha. Eventually, I'll get around to it. I'm hoping that since I've done a lot of plastic canvas work, cross-stitch shouldn't be too big of a jump for me. I'm a total mushball when it comes to animals; I can't even eat them. :P (I'm a mostly-vegan, always-vegetarian.) I'd totally adopt more, but we already have a big dog and two cats in a small house. It's kind of sad, the local shelter has waived it's adoption fees for cats right now because they're so overrun. :( I need a bigger house! Thank you again, and I'll be sure to ask you for cross-stitch advice soon. :) Any advice for what I should buy to start with?
Comment: Hi Amanda, Thanks for the great ATC!! I love it! I have been maaking ATC's for about 5 years, and I still love making them! I am addicted to them! Hope to swap with you again, soon. Again, thanks. Nancy (grannystamper)
Response: I'm very glad that you like it, Nancy! I'm still a little nervous when sending my creations out into the world, but I really do enjoy making them. :) I hope you are feeling a bit better!
Comment: Haha!!! Your pumpkin from last year is the same one I made this year! I changed it a bit but its the same design LOL! Love the Autobot ^.^
Response: Awesome! One of my brothers came over to help me give out treats so I wouldn't have to juggle a baby and giving them out myself (hubby took our four year old out), and he wanted to steal my pumpkin - he's a huge Transformers fan, haha. Glad you like it, and thanks for the rate! :)
Comment: I had trouble with the candy too! My son can't eat chocolate or artificial ingredients so he is actively asking people to eat his candy (we are "buying" it from him to keep his resistance up) so I had a little one not helping me.
Response: That was definitely the hardest part! Thank you for taking the time to rate. :)
Comment: I love those sausages! I've made them a few times, and I've done it in a stand-alone "steamer" appliance; you know, the white ones with the clear basket. I've been meaning to try VeganDad's chickpea cakes; they look awesome. Thanks for joining!
Response: They're pretty darn good, aren't they? I was pleasantly surprised, considering how bad commercially made faux-sausages and such tend to be. I have one of those steamers - I'll try cooking them that way next time! (And there will be a next time - yum!) Thank you for the heart! ♥
Comment: Thank you for the lovely mandalas. I mounted them on strong card, backed them with a pretty paper and now I am going to hang them from my ceiling in this room so they can twirl around and make me happy. Thank you for the colours you chose too. I couldn't have chosen better colours myself!
Response: I'm glad you like them! Thanks again for the swap, and thank you for the heart! ♥
