Comment: Thanks for the chunk! Looks like maybe another puzzle box? I bought a few puzzles at Goodwill this year to give us something to do after Christmas dinner. We never got around to it, so they're in the closet for next year. And, yes, it has been kinda cold this winter. The worst so far was -11F (colder at night, but I wasn't out then). Our cars all started, which is always the big question when it gets super cold here.
Comment: Hmmm...this is the second chunk I got that says Chunk O Cardboard - January Mania. I assume it's for this swap though. They both said the same thing, so I'm not sure if you resent thinking you hadn't sent one for the other swap, but I will count it for this one either way. Thanks.
What a beautiful Christmas card and thank you muchly for the gift tags and stickers-I'll be putting those to good use before the weeks out. Thank you! Merry 🎄 Christmas!
Comment: So far I have not received any duplicates from you. I hope you haven't received any from me. I tried to avoid that this year by getting odds and ends from many places so every card was different, but I do have some that are the same. Anyway, thank you for the card and the extras! Have a Merry Christmas!
Comment: Happy Holidays Susan ! Thank you for such a gorgeous card ( I love Reindeer ! ) and for the tags, stickers, and handmade tag. I love all ! I esp. love the handmade tag, as I make them myself and use the same kind of ribbon as you do.
Comment: Thank you so very much for the card and all the hand crafted tags. You’re so kind. I never thought about making tags from cards but now you have inspired me to do so. I have lots of cards I can make into tags. If I could give you two hearts , I would. Thank you , thank you. Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you very much, especially for the tags, you just don’t know how I can use them in my crafts. I looked for the tags last week for some of the craft fair things I’m making and couldn’t find what I was looking for. The ones I needed were the kind that doesn’t have a sticky back. Thank you, thank you.
Comment: Your card showed up in my informed delivery mail scan, so I know you sent it, but unfortunately it never got delivered to my mailbox for some reason. I'm still giving you a 5 because I know it was sent.
Comment: I don't have any big plans for Thanksgiving, just the usual going over to my parent's house for a meal and hanging out. I'm sure I will enjoy it. I hope you enjoy your get together with the folks from your apartment.
Comment: Thank you. And, yes, I’ll try to keep count on my side. There’s something about your card and envelope that my dog likes. I sat it down beside me and Gracie came up to see what it was and she tried to slowly and quietly run off with it, but I took it from her before she got away.
Comment: Thank you for the cute card! Congratulations on the newest edition to your family. Glad she is doing well. Thanks for the memo sheets as well. Can't seem to have enough of those these days. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Comment: Hi Susan! Thanks for much for the great chunk! It is so appropriate since the hubby is getting ready for deer camp! LOL! I am not a big puzzle person but I love the idea of having them on display when they are completed! Thanks for the fun share! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for your note and extra notecard. I enjoyed the nice weather but it is certainly colder today! I am in Edwardsville for the weekend. My brother said it snowed in Kansas yesterday. At least we missed that.
Comment: Thank you for the recipes. The Applesauce Bread recipe reminded me of an apple cake recipe I saw somewhere... very similar, but with diced apples instead of applesauce. Thanks also for the cute notecard.
Comment: Thank you for the PC! I hope the roads weren't as icy like the weather said they were going to be. My daughters school was delayed 2hrs from icy road and some accidents happened that day. Stay safe over there. ~RS
Comment: Susan...LOVE these foiled stockings, so bright and fun!! Glad you are staying cozy in the mid-west in your apartment. I got sick after all my kids left after Christmas and am still lacking energy and trying to catch up with things after a week in bed. Blessings on your New Year...hugs, Charlene
Comment: Thank you for the pretty card. We always feed the birds and see cardinals almost every day. Blue Jays too. Thanks for the gift tags. Always need more of them. Merry Christmas wishes to you and yours.
Comment: Thank you for the Santa card. I bought owl ribbon at JoAnn last night and I have hung it on my kitchen cabinets. Now I'm hanging my cards on the ribbon. I can't wait to add yours. What a beautiful memory of your mom, thanks for sharing.Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for the cute card and goodies. Here it's snowing right now. They're saying 4 to 6 inches by morning. It's pretty to watch since I'm safe and warm here inside and don't have to go out. Thanks again.
Comment: Thank you for the card, it's so adorable! The muffin recipe sounds yummy...I'm looking forward to trying it. Thanks for the extra recipe cards and stickers. Merry Christmas and thanks for joining my swap!
Comment: "This wasn't easy" - lol -- Thanks for all the great answers you strained your brain to come up with! Loved reading them. This was a fun swap. Thanks for the really cool postcard, too. Merry Christmas to you.
Comment: Thank you for the exquisite vintage Currier & Ives print, Susan! I also like that it reminds me of one of my favorite secular seasonal songs, "Sleigh Ride" :) Hope you have a light-, love-, and laughter-filled season and New Year ♥
Comment: Thank you again. Yeah, I don't limit myself to get my cards from the big box stores I buy them at all different places especially when I can choose each one individually that's the best part about buying them for me.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Christmas card. I think you must have overlooked the part of the swap where you write a note, quote, joke or words of wisdom in the card though. No problem, it's the holidays! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for card and note. Yes I am looking forward to the holiday. I get to see my Grandaughter and her family for Thanksgiving. Then the rest of the family a few days after as my daughter has to work on the holiday so they are getting together at a buffet restuarant on Saturday.
Comment: Thank you for both cards. I'm sure we'll be swapping again. I just hope I can find different things to put in the cards, I like to include a little something extra in my cards even if the swap doesn't call for it.
Comment: Thanks for blessing my hear with the valentine! Thr stickers and bear card are really cute too...adding color to th is dull midwest winter we are having. I am sorry I keep speling your last name wrong--it really does look like Walter to me. Apologies. Be blessed and have a great day!
Comment: Thank you. I wish we lived closer to each other. You like the same things I do. Thrift shopping, card swapping, I know we would have fun. I plan on going card hunting this weekend if my cold lets up some. I've had a cold since the day after Christmas. Thanks for the note card too.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely card and the extras! I have received a bunch from you this year! It seems like its all the same small group of swappers that are joining in on the card swaps this year. Merry Christmas! <3
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card featuring cardinals on it. I love the poem Christmas Bells by Longfellow! The Christmas sticker/tag extras were so sweet of you to include, thank you very much and Merry Christmas!
Comment: Such a fun and beautiful card from you! Think this is my 3rd from you...feel like we are getting to know each other! Are you making turkey shaped cookies for the grandchildren? I agree...trusting in Jesus for ALL is the greatest of all gifts/blessings! God bles and have fun!
Comment: Hi Susan! Thanks for another great vintage pc! You have been busy - I am sure the Pre-K kiddos love you reading to them! Good job on finding the winter good - love thrifting and getting a good bargain! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hi Susan! TY for the lovely lighthouse pc! Thanksgiving will be a tad sad here since Zane and Hanna will not be able to join us - but they will be traveling to Spain so that is a wonderful adventure for them! I am sure as it gets closer I will be excited with the good food and fun with the hubby and youngest! Do you Black Friday shop? I must be getting older because I will go (if I see any good deals) but am not as excited about it as I used to be!! LOL! Hugs, Happy Thanksgiving, and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Susan--I loved your card! My middle name is Eileen after my Mom. I have a niece named Melinda Eileen and her oldest daughter is Lilianna Eileen. I've never been to Brighton but we pick peaches and apples in Grafton and love to drive the river road in the spring and fall. Merry Christmas and tell Melinda Kay that she has a beautiful name.
Comment: Thanks for the cute card and the little extras :) Im glad you enjoy my swaps, I make the same mistakes when writing all the time! I haven't heard of where your daughter lives but Im about an hour away from Tampa. Merry Christmas! <3
Comment: Thank you so much for wonderful card. I absolutely loved it and it came on a day I definitely needed a pick me up and smile. Thank you so much! Thank you also for participating in the swap. My grandson is my motivation to host these!
Comment: Thank you so much for the great pcs and all the extras, that was so sweet of you! I love the tiger swallowtail Stamp! What exactly does non-machine able surcharge mean? It's the first time I've seen a stamp like this. Thanks!!
Comment: Sounds like a perfect fall day Susan!! I wish we had a color change in the desert...instead, we get one day towards the end of October still at 98 degrees, then bam!!...its now in the 70's and heading towards the 40's at night...everyone gets sick and the leaves just die!!! LOL!!!
Comment: Hi Susan! Sounds like a busy week to me! LOL! Where do you go for book club? We are members of one at the Waterloo library and I just love it! Finding I am reading a few different authors and the discussions are always lively! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Received a very nice note, and found out that she and I have the same middle name!! Nice surprise! Wrote her a note back, should go out in tomorrow's mail! Would be more than happy to partner with her in future swaps!
Comment: We really only have 2 seasons down here as far as I can tell. This will only be my second winter. I do miss seeing all the pretty leaves in fall, but lucky not to have to rake. Cold to Floridians is 60.
Comment: I am going to guess that the lie is you are left handed! The only reason I say that is your signature is on a right tilt!
Response: The true one was that I just celebrated my 65th birthday on Oct 7. I never thought about the way my writing looked as to being right or left handed. I should have since my mom was left handed.
Comment: I haven't worked on a Picture Puzzle for a long time...used some odd puzzle pieces for Crafting at Christmas when the boys were in Cub Scouts ( my oldest is 36 :D ). Very Pretty.! ! ! Loved the Note you wrote on it too...
Comment: Thanks for the nice postcard and your answer to the question. These are a lot of fun, and over the years if we trade again I would think a person would learn a lot about the other. Pretty card with the scripture. I like the Lawson Falle cards, I believe I got them free in a box of greeting cards. This one was different. Wish one could buy them straight out but at least not in our area. Happy to hear from you!
Comment: Yeah, we do keep running into each other, but I'm cool with that! I have a small handful of folks I send to a lot.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the card you sent. You're too kind. Denmark is on my bucket list.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card, the conch salad looks so good and for giving me a brief rundown of your week, seems like you had a busy one! I hope you are feeling better and had fun at the garage sale and car show.
Comment: Loved the cute card and the memo note paper inside was too cute!! Haven't seen that this year. Thanks for the goodies and for being my swap partner. Happy Halloween and Happy Swapping!! KathyJane
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card, Susan. It's my first from the Bahamas and love the map. Thank you also for sharing your favorite things - frappes, bbq and good movie with snacks are three of my favorites too! :p
Comment: Unfortunately for us, the end of summer means the invasion of the extremely loud and overcrowded charter school directly across the street, plus they are replacing the streets and sewers so traffic is especially bad as they move to our street to avoid the construction. On the upside, we are loving the cooler weather!! Fall is my favorite season. I like the way you cut out your card to frame the IRRESISTABLE 100% WHOLE GRAIN. IN CAPS! Very enthusiastic cereal! :)
Comment: Thanks for the patriotic NY card, Susan! Hope you are catching up on your sleep now! Saturday my son comes home from an Army deployment to Cuba where he will meet his first child (a girl, Madalynn, born Aug. 4th) for the first time. So we will have a fabulous Labor Day weekend! I hope you do too.
Comment: Hi Susan! TY for the sweet Easter card and the extra goodies! So good to have you as a partner, seems like it has been awhile! Wishing you and yours a lovely Easter of fun and love! The daffodils are blooming, woot, woot!! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Susan....how fun to be partnered with you again...it has been too long!! Thank you for joining my new group, this swap and for this beautiful bouquet of roses!! I really like how you did the rounded corners. Enjoy your sunny Spring days...we are still getting snow flurries most days here in NY but it is not sticking and piling up any longer so I am hopeful of Spring's arrival being right around the corner....Smiles...Charlene
Comment: Hi Susan. Thank you for the adorable pc! I think that I'll frame it for my office. Thank you for sharing your memory of Timothy the Timid, I enjoyed reading it. For making this an extra special swap, you've earned your heart. Wishing you many happy swaps.
Comment: I love these postcards that show a state's wildlife, thank you so much! :o) It would be nice to have one from each state. I'm also ready for spring! We've had the cold, but very little snow (which is very un-Minnesota like) this winter, so I'm hoping for a real rainy spring. I want to see daffodils!
Comment: Thank you so much for the card and the extras. So cute. Have a wonderful day! Funny to get a card from you this time right after I had you as a partner last swap!!! I would be happy to do more swaps with you anytime!!! :)
Comment: Thanks for sending Santa over in a card! I love all things Santa especially the old world ones. Thanks for the extras. May you have a Holly Jolly Christmas this year! Oh yes! Thank you for the Santa tag and notes
Comment: Hi Susan, I've been to two different Chimney Rocks (and climbed them) but not in Nebraska! Great card, thanks so much. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving and got that baking done! Enjoy a happy and healthy New Year. Jane
Comment: Your cute card filled with gratitude was much welcomed … I like being able to share the holiday spirit with reminders of how blessed we are here ~ take care/may the year end with many more joys
