Comment: Thank you for sharing your playlist with me. Love Thunder too :) such a good and catchy song. Also love love Feel it Still too :) I think we have similar taste in music so I really enjoyed your playlist.
Comment: I was just telling a co-worker that somehow, I managed to escape academia without ever taking Chemistry. I wish I knew more about the periodic table - great stuff for games like Trivia Crack! LOL!
Comment: Oh my gosh, I wish I could give you 10 hearts!! This mail was packed full of lovely things. Such a pleasure to open. Thank you! I loved everything so, so, so, so, so much. Especially the little kitty in the mug, so cute! :-D
Comment: I have no idea why it took so long to arrive, but I just received your PC (postmarked 10-20!!!) today! Thank you so much for the amazing postcard...you chose incredibly well! I'll cherish the Victory Chimes PC!
Comment: I love science that leaves me wondering and asking more questions. It's one of the beautiful things about science; we're always learning more, always have questions, and sometimes we find the answers we weren't looking for.
Comment: Thank you for this incredible postcard of a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Jannine! We have this type of snake in Tucson, where I live, too, but I've never seen an image of it like this! Wow! ❤ Thank you sooo much for sharing this with me!!! :-)
Comment: Thank you for the swap and the extras! One side of tthe envie was open so I am notvsure if something had fallen out. There were some Halloween stickers and a mini notecard enclosed, they are cute, thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the great lighthouse postcards. They were all new to me and will add greatly to my collection. Thanks for the note - how nice that you were able to stay many days on the Pemaquid Point Lighthiose. Happy swapping, Linda
Comment: Thank you for all the goodies! It's so fun to read your day! it's cool that you feed frogs in the morning! I used to have pet frogs for a short while, but they quickly died. So now I only have fish in my fish tank. Also, I think your pink flower swapbot little card looks pretty!
Comment: Janine, thank you so much for the Nubble Light postcard. I have several of them, each one is different. Today it is supposed to be in the mid 70"s. This is are usual weather for fall. We had rain Sunday which the rain gauges said we had over 3 1/2 inches of rain. Shirley
Comment: Hi Jannine! What a fun pc - I love the doghouse for the letter D! My hubby built our fur babies a doghouse back in the day and they totally ignored it, other than jumping on top! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: I’m glad you like the pc. We bought our dogs a nice dog house for the front yard as two of them love to sit under the table or island, but all they did was sit on top of the doghouse!
Comment: Thanks for the cute card! It definitely made me chuckle and my husband got a kick out of it too. I'd agree it's not really funny so much as cheeky, and the lady cleaning the lighthouse reminds me of someone I've actually known before.
Comment: I almost got a job with the USPS once, but the job they were hiring for wouldn't work with my school schedule :( Does the plate in your skull make flying more difficult? Thank you for the card!
Response: No the plate doesn’t bother flying. if i get pulled aside I tell them I have a plate in my skull, screws and pins in my left ankle, staples in the bone of the big toe, and screws in the right elbow. They look at me funny, wave the wand over me and let me go.
Comment: Thank you for the adorable trio of ducks, charming basset hound puppy, cool Pumpkinfest postmark (I love, love commemorative postmarks :), and for sharing a snippet of Maine fall with me ♥ Today is finally a little cooler than usual, so I am embracing and savoring it!
Comment: I would love for the witnessing of a lung transplant to be the truth, but it seems as the dart frog tattoo is more likely.
Response: I have lots of tattoos, but no dart frog! When I was in nursing school, I got chosen to witness a lung transplant. It was incredible! I still have the memories of that day. My scheduled surgery for that day was canceled and they were scrambling to find me another one. The charge nurse said there is a transplant happening and the doctor is really good with teaching people. He let me come in and explained everything. I got to see the beating heart inside the cavity. It is still awesome to this day!
Comment: I LOVE the note card! It's so cute, I can't stop looking at it and cooing. I think my dogs are jealous that I like the dog on the card more than them. . . :-) I'm jealous that you have leaves to play in. Our autumns are rainy, so our leaves are soggy and never crunch when you walk on them.
Comment: Thank you for sharing your story I am going to send you a message rather than writing you back by snail mail because online is much faster. Thank you for joining my swap and sharing your story with me.
Response: Thank you for your message. I look forward to responding tomorrow.
Comment: Thanks for the card. I also used to keep exotic frogs as pets. It was really bit then I learned about conservation of native species and did not accumulate more. My last one died 10 years ago and now miss them. :(
Comment: Thank you for sharing the gorgeous autumnal weather with me! The delightful My Fair Lady card was especially apropos because the principal casting for Lincoln Center Theatre's upcoming revival was recently announced; I was hoping that Colin Firth would actually come to Broadway as Prof. Henry Higgins, as was buzzed about in the past, but I would be willing to see this production anyway.
Comment: hello from the other corner of our country ...
i am delighted with the mapcard of your state with all the juicy facts & pink pawprints!
let's enjoy this wonderful time of year with lots more swaps!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. It's a little bittersweet since my favorite vacation destination is Rockport, Texas and they were devastated by Hurricane Harvey. But it certainly looks like your Rockport is beautiful too!
Comment: Got this in today's mail, thank you! I have those same "art of instruction" postcards -- some of them are so weird huh? I still haven't decided to send the housework one too XD. Part of my address got ripped off in the mail so I'm happy this postcard still found me!
Comment: Thank you so much for your note and the picture of the beautiful Iris' you have grown. I love Hydrangeas also. The first gift I ever bought my mom was a hydrangea plant when I was about 8 or 9. We had a florist right down from our house and I asked her how much it was. I don't think she ever gave me an answer. I took her my allowance each week for about 3 weeks before mothers day. She probably gave me that plant for 3-4 dollars. Mama planted it in the back yard and when we moved from there it was taller than me. I'd love to see yours.
Comment: I felt like I was unwrapping a whole forest in that box! I have never seen anything like that brillo pad lichen (I assume it's lichen?) Thank you very much - and for the holiday cookbook as well! :-)
Response: Yes, that was lichen. I had a lot of fun doing that box! Enjoy.
Comment: I've received two from you for this swap. For future reference, unless the swap says otherwise you typically only need to send one card. Thank you for the three cards though; I truly adore them.
