Comment: Thanks for my very nice dishcloth. I do not crochet so this cloth is special to me.
We are staying home and trying to be safe. Getting started on some Christmas gifts. Maybe this year I will be done early, can only hope..Thanks again
Comment: Hi Shirley, Thanks so much for this post. I absolutely love your message on the back; it made me smile. The snowy picture arrived just in time :) Hope your garden is growing well. Thanks again & best wishes.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card and stickers! I loved how you sent a card with a picture of a lady quilting and then inside talked about making quilts!
The washi tape on your envelope came off and got mangled in a sorting machine. The post office put your letter in one of their envelopes. I suggest adding a bit of clear tape on the ends of the washi tape.
Comment: Thank you for the gorgeous mountain postcard. I hope you are enjoying your summer and watching your garden grow. I almost bought a sunflower and then remembered I would actually have to water it lol. Take care :)
Comment: I had to look up the Dignity statue in SD from your list and then I freaked out a little because I've actually been to that rest stop where it's at but it was before they built it! That rest stop was a highlight on my trip because of the views of the river!
Comment: Yes please to the Rocky Mountain PC ( Love it!) I have been to Colorado, to Aurora to be exact. Which is near Denver. I had an Aunt & Uncle that lived in Aurora. They have been gone from this world for years now & I really miss them! Take care & keep on staying safe.
Comment: Love the stamps you used! I can't believe it's supposed to SNOW in Montana! Out here summer came early and the heat has been topping 105 for the past couple weeks. Hope you and your family are well. Thanks for sending.
Comment: Hi Shirley thank you for the great postcard of Pikes Peak that brightened up my mailbox! I hope you are staying healthy during the virus. I've been doing lots of reading and some crocheting. Have a nice weekend! :) Dale
Comment: Wonderfull card from Niagara Falls Canada.
You mentioned it is on your bucket list. we are only about 90minutes from there. The Canadian Side has wonderful flower gardens and a butterfly garden in addition to the falls. And if you like theater, Niagara on the Lake is a fun (but expensive) town with lots of theater.
Thanks for the card
Comment: Thank you much for the Brugge Bruges PC. I know what you mean, about it warming up. It needs to do that here too. As heard on the news if we get our real weather, the Virus would eventually go away. Take care & keep safe.
Comment: Springtime in the Rockies sounds rough in Montana! 40 mile and hour winds at this time of year are probably pretty cold! Thank you for the Stone Bridge PC. I have only seen one other bridge built the same way (that I know of) it was the bridge to Bailey Island in Maine Stay warm, and healthy and safe.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful scenery of Mt. Mckinley! Love it! I am more than ready for planting season too ! I plant veggies & flowers. I have cabin fever so bad. Like you, we had a fairly mild winter. A couple snow storms here & there. But nothing to great. Which suit me just fine!
Comment: Hi Shirley... This is my FIRST Montana PC! Thank you so much. I hope your weather warms up a bit... although, if I go by the old NE weather, it won't :-( I hope you have a wonderful Holiday season as well <3
Comment: Thank you so much for the vintage card, Shirley! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I may just copy your idea because I have lots of unused vintage cards. And the cute tags -- I've got a stack of cards I've been meaning to do this with! Great minds think alike! Happy swapping! :-)
Comment: You decorated your envelope so well with the snowman and the trees. I also really like the shiny sticker on the back. I think I am going to wait until after Thanksgiving to open my cards - if I can wait. Thank you!
Comment: OMG! I loved all of these stamps, especially the hummingbird, the butterfly, and the floral stamps. The elephant was cute too! What can I say, I just love all of them. Thanks for a great swap, cheers! Micaela

Comment: Thanks for the lighthouse PC! Ripe tomatoes sound so yummy right now, I wish it wasn't so hot out here! I haven't been able to successfully grow something yet. We reached 118 degrees this weekend. But I still found fun things to do!
Comment: Lovely postcard! Thank you for sharing! I cannot imagine hauling my sewing machine out onto my porch! How nice, though! We started a container garden for our front porch this year and it is blooming! Dozens of zinnias, chili peppers, tiny tomatoes, and peapods! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Comment: I got your cat PC the day after the big booming noises event, Aka known as the 4th of July with neighbors, setting off fireworks. So my dogs and one cat were trembling in my bedroom, most of the night. I hope yours were ok.
Response: Cats were fine, the dog pants and shivered half the night.
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful blocks! I had the same issue with a lack of yellows so I had to go purchase a few. As I was looking for them I found some cute ones, then I couldn't figure out why I never paid any attention to them. I also found----- a few other colors to buy also. LOL!
Comment: Thank you for the United Nations PC and wish I could visit Montana especially if it is raining. Here in GA, we went from Winter to Summer....No Spring. This is the hottest May in years-it is 90 plus. After 4 yrs living here, I have learned to stay inside. More reading and more crafts. Hugs & Happy Swapping
Comment: I loved the postcard you sent, but please take care to write your swapbot ID on the envelope or something in the envelope. I had to look through the participants until I saw your name. Best Wishes
Comment: Love the simplicity of this postcard!! I don’t let any of my cats outside. I’m too much of a worrywart. Plus I live on a fairly busy street and wouldn’t be able to handle seeing if one got hit. On the other hand, mymom’s outside cat is thriving g. Lol

Comment: Thank you for the adorable Mug Rug! I must say that your binding corners are perfect! My bindings need work. :-/ I think it is too good to risk sloshed tea on it though, I'll add it to my Miniature Quilt wall. :-)
Comment: I love the Card!! Thank you so much!!! I hope you and your love ones have a Very Merry Christmas!!!
Holly Jolly Christmas is one of my favorite Christmas songs, seeing your wish, I have to listen to it now!!!
Comment: I love this card! Thanks! Although somewhat sad with the twin towers and all the thoughts behind that. And I love the old stamps! I collect postage stamps! You put a lot of thought into this. Thanks again!
Comment: Love the kitty on the PC with HIS best friend. It was cool for your parents to let you have your special baby. My first cat that was all my own and my best friend was a Russian Blue; he was my special boy! Thank you!
Comment: Such a cute kitty PC! I hug my kitty every day but he doesn't always like it! He's very finicky! My cat only lets his paws get wet when he is drinking water from the shower stall after I get out! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the nice card. I love Halloween but we never have very many trick or treat kids. Just aren't many children in our neighborhood. I always hand out a little candy, balloons and a pencil. They all seem to like the balloons. Thanks again.
Comment: Cute white kitty. I had one named Fluffy when we were kids. She went from New York to California with us in a camper shell. Thought we lost her in a town but she was there when it was time to move on.We loved that ca

Comment: Thank you for the postcards - I love the linen card of the Griffith Observatory - I have not been there in years, due to the traffic to get into Los Angeles (I live about 40 miles east of LA). I hope this note finds you well and that summer is kind to you this year! Take care!
Comment: Shirley...thank you for the vintage sugar cane harvesting PC...and for the vintage stamps you used as well. Hope you enjoyed the Art show and other festivities over the St. Patrick Day week-end. We have been very cold here and it certainly in not looking like Spring anywhere but on the calendar!! Hugs, Charlene
Comment: Shirley, thank you for such a pretty vintage postcard. Spring has sprung in Atlanta today was 76 degrees, but I’m originally from Buffalo NY, so I understand long cold winters.
Comment: Thank you for the FL card and note. I have been to FL once in Sept 2012. When I went on a cruise with my daughter and a friend. We did some sightseeing on the way home but I would like to go again as there are still many things I would like to see.

Thank you for the darling dog card that is self standing. An oldie but a goodie. I also appreciate the extra blank notecard that you included too. Oh and the older postage stamps are awesome!!
Comment: Hi Shirley! Thank you for the nice pc and for telling me about your day! If it would get 40 here, I am thinking folks would be in shorts! LOL! It was 5 this morning and the windchill was in negative numbers - BRRRR!! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the string quilt blocks. I am so sorry that I did not rate you when I received them. Everyone uses such a great variety of fabric; this should make a great quilt. I love that you used vintage stamps to mail the swap,
Comment: Thank you for nice card. So glad to see this swap because the charity cards are usually so beautiful. Would be a shame not to use them. And the card had a giraffe !!!! (I collect giraffe things) Thanks again.
Comment: Shirley, thank you so much for the vintage Christmas card and stamps on the envelope. I have saved everyone you have sent me. Your mother must have had hundreds of cards. Merry Christmas, Shirley
Comment: Thank you. I thought this was a cute card when I opened it then I I read the greeting how Santa had to take a part time job to pay for everything on my list. That’s funny because I only have one thing on my list and that would be a building for me to make my soap in. And the one I want is about $8000.00 . How fitting of a card! I love it!
Comment: Such a pretty card! Thank you. No, I love holidays in general. I do not understand why people hate Christmas. It baffles me. I mean, twinkle lights and glitter and cocoa... c'mon, what's not to love!?

Only my Christmas starts on Dec. 22nd and ends Dec. 26th. I have a lot of family. Want to thank you also, for having joined my swap.
Comment: Thank you for the Christmas by the sea postcard. I was getting ready to write “it reminds me of when I lived in Rhode Island†when I read the caption “Made in USA by Green Acres Workshop, Pawtucket, RI.†It’s a scene of a place I’ve actually been (more or less). Super cool!
Comment: Thank you for the Christmas card and the lovely note card. My husband is a birder. He has been searching for the elusive Snowy Owl, for years. We have heard that they are here in MD, already this year, but we have never seen one in the wild. Have a happy holiday season!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful block! Your envelope came "Postage Due." I can hardly believe but they knocked on my door and collected 3 cents! No worries, I just thought it was hilarious. It is fun having you in my swap! Please join us in the #3.
Response: I will make it up to you, 3 cents, how did they come up with that amount???
Comment: Thank you Shirley for selecting "ART" as the PC subject of PC you sent to me for the swap. CM Russell's artwork I've studied. Love his art of the "Vanishing West" native culture. Happy October!
Comment: We swap Christmas cards again! Thank you for the cute card and pretty stickers, I will use them. I was looking at stickers yesterday at hobby lobby but didn’t buy any. I’ll have to go back next week to get some.
Comment: PERFECT - AWESOME - ADORABLE - how many adjectives can I use to describe this mug rug!!! I absolutely love it and so does my husband! My little dog "Gideon" thinks that you did a fantastic job of capturing the personality and cuteness of a shih tzu! He put his paw of approval on it - thank you so much Shirley..... :-))
Comment: Something terrible happened to your package. The Banana Split icecream must have leaked out and all that was left was an adorable back to school outfit with tote bag and shoes. I just love the clothes but where is the ice cream? Darn, it was low fat, too. I could have eaten twice as much! Thanks for the beautiful sweater, skirt, slacks, tote bag, top and shorts, and shoes. You are so talented. Now I have a craving for Blue Bunny ice cream!
Comment: So cute. I am taking one of my "girls" to be raffled off at a benefit for my DD's theater company in Philly. I am taking a train over and "Rozy Belle" is coming with me. I often photograph my dolls on trips. So I am taking your outfit along with me, because it is so 4th of July and will photograph her in it. When I post it on Instagram I will give you credit and let you know. It is perfect - thanks so much.
Comment: Great PC of the Philadelphia skyline -- I've been there a couple times and it is a great old city. There is so much to see and do there that is historical as well as lots of wonderful fun places and fabulous restaurants. Thanks for the great PC that brought back a lot of wonderful memories for me ~
Comment: beautiful colors in this block, thank you. It was delayed by the post office because they tore a hole in the package and had to repackage it for me. The block itself arrived safe and sound. Thank you Shirley.
Comment: Love the outfit - the shirt and sandals are darling and not something I would make and I love when I get items I don't usually make - so fun. I don't really celebrate April Fools either - but I never pass up a chance to swap AG doll clothes.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful PC! I love to look at snow from afar but I don't think I would like shoveling it. Please forgive me for not envying you. Here in Houston we average 1/2 - 1 inch snow every 10 - 15 years. No shoveling!
Comment: I apologize for the late rating. I thought I had already done so. Anyway, thank you so much for the nice doggie card, stamps, and blank notecard. Such a sweet note you wrote, also. Thanks again.

Comment: Thank you for the beautiful, colorful grey tabby beauties, spiffy vintage stamps, and sharing some of your wintry weather with me, Shirley :) It's been in the 50s here, which is fine for humans but still not so for my cats! Happy weekend and rest-of-the-month!
Comment: Great PC of the Eiffel Tower and love the stamps too. We've dodge a lot of the typical Chicago winter weather this year...it's actually been very strange weather. I hope you are having a nice Valentine's Day. Take care, Annette
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely Valentine's Day card, and the extras. Fortunately, Maryland hasn't seen any snow to amount to anything this winter. Knock on wood!! Enjoy the rest of your winter.
Comment: Love the outfit. I always like when you crochet a portion of the outfit. It is a skill that I am just learning and currently only know how to finish edges. One of my dolls will be all set for Valentines Day. thanks so much.
Comment: Shirley, you are unbelievable! Love the little Halloween outfit. Sooo cute! Love the clown hat and all those fancy Halloween buttons. You even enclosed a trick or treat by. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Shirley
Comment: Thank you. Yes the puppy is fine. He weighs one and a half pound and needs to loose weight and mommy needs to gain weight she only weighs 3 pounds. But she eats a LOT and can't seem to gain. I guess it'll come back when she's done nursing.
Comment: Shirley, I received your box today. I didn't even bother to open it yet. I am like a little kid, I can't stand to see wrapped packages, I have to open them. Again thank you. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas season. Shirley
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely card and sharing your traditions. I make the pies from scratch too although the only tie I successfully grew a pupkin a squirrel ate it so I buy them. Have a Happy Thanksgiving
Comment: Thank you for the card and stickers. I love the Shirley temple stamp. Our post office doesn't have those. Heck they never have any of the good ones left when I go buy my stamps. But the swaps aren't about the stamps it's about what's in the envelope. The stamps are just a bonus!
Comment: A million hearts! this is such a beautiful dress and a perfect "princess" turquoise. I appreciate the effort you went through to make the little jacket with the applique and the shoes. You are such a talented sewer. Thanks so much.
Comment: Thanks for the great Olympic torch carrier PC. . . very colorful :-) Snow already. . . YIKES!! We usually don't get snow until early Dec but Jan and Feb are our snowiest. . . although there have been years when we've had very little snow. I don't think I could live in an area that got a lot of snow - I'm just getting too old for that! Thanks again for the great PC ~~
Comment: Thank you for such an awesome selection of stamps with so many ones clearly picked for me 😊
One really neat one to me is the 20¢ "civil service 1883-1993" one, I am a civil servant working for my city and I was born in 1983 😊😊
Comment: Shirley, thanks so much for the old postcard! I love it! And it's nice to get mail from someone in Montana cause I LOVE Montana. I've been there in 2012 and 2014. My friend lives outside of Great Falls and if I didn't love Maine so much I'd move to MT. <3
Have a wonderful day! :)
Comment: very pretty PC I have not been there
but 30 yrs ago my mom drove thru the
smoky mts on her way to ill. so she said yes they are very pretty. Mountains are usually pretty to me anyway heart 4 you

Congratulations on your garden, and I hope you were able to do away with the raccoons. Hope your summer is off to a good start!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card, Shirley. I'm so jealous that you have a garden. Now that I live in San Diego I don't have room for one. Thank you for the extra card, stamps and stickers. They are so pretty! I hope you have a great week. :-)
Comment: Hi Shirley. Another cute piece of clothing for the AG doll. Love the cute little jacket you made. You are so clever when it comes to what you make the outfits out of. This is the second one that you made from table napkins for me. Always nice swapping with you. Shirley to Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the great vintage Nobel Prize stamp and beautiful view of the Great Falls! Thanks in part to Longmire, I look forward to visiting Montana and Wyoming one day :) Hope your garden turns out well! Happy weekend, Shirley!
Comment: I think the coconut palms are grown only in the Keys and Hawaii in the US because they need higher temps in the winter and humidity so most places aren't suited for them. I have seen them when I visited Hawaii and absolutely loved getting fresh coconut when I was there. . . yummy! Thanks for sharing a very pretty PC for this swap ~~
Comment: Hello Shirley,
Thank you for your nice note you sent as part of the Happy Monday Note Card #5 Swap. As well, thanks for the 2 postcards and 1 notecard you sent along with your note. Your postcards will be a nice addition to my Postcard Collection and your notecard will be a nice addition to my Notecard Collection.

Thanks again for the great PCs and hope to see you again in swaps ~~
Comment: What an interesting and unique pincushion. I love the different fabrics and lace that you incorporated into the basic pincushion. Then you topped it off with the machine embroidery which gave it a unique and fun touch. Many thanks. I will enjoy using it for years to come.
Comment: Out of all the many doll clothes I have, I did not have a flannel nightgown. I love it so much. It reminds me of when I was a little girl. We always got flannel nightgowns for Christmas. What a fun print you used. Love it! THANK YOU!
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely PCs! My favorite is the vintage linen waterfall one, it's so pretty I almost don't want to send it! Also, thank you for the amazing vintage stamps! Where did you find those?!? I love them! Especially the religious freedom act and "A public that reads, a root of democracy". What a profound and true statement!

Comment: Hi Shirley, it seems like the swaps we are in, continue to get us paired up. Thank you for the postcards from Montana, and explaining them to me which made a big difference. I loved the dog one about Shep. I read the article about him. It was heartwarming. Thank you again and will see you in another swap soon. Shirley
Comment: Shirley, I can't believe what was stuffed in that box. I am looking at 6 packages and wondering what is in them. It is so tempting to open them now but will power. I can't even hang them on the door now because I will open them. In they go with the other gifts I have received and a couple more books on top of the box should do it. Again thank you so much in advance. I know Aubrey will enjoy each and everyone of them. We are going for Thanksgiving, so she will be able to open them in December. Shirley
Comment: Shirley, thank you so much for the cute prairie outfit. It was great of you to use your grandmother's feed sacks to make the apron and leggings. Such a cute outfit. We were very fortunate this year not to have any forest fires. Last year was pretty bad. The smoke was so thick and the ashes made everything dirty. Again thank you and I love swapping with you. Shirley Shirley, sorry for not rating but I did once received it but forgot to change from I do not wish to rate to 5 + Heart. Sorry about that, thank you for messaging me.
Comment: Hi Shirley: Thanks so much for the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse postcard. It's my first from Bermuda! The closest lighthouse to me here in Pennsylvania is an hour away in Philadelphia... all others are at least a 2 hour drive away. Like you, I stock up on postcards when I travel to where the lighthouses are. I just got back from the Outer Banks in NC, so I have a good stock of lighthouse postcards from there now. Thanks again, and happy swapping!
Comment: What a beautiful red, white and blue outfit. I love the shorts, shirt, hat, and sandals. You did such a great job on them. Love, love, love the sparklers. Thanks for sending them so quickly so I can dress my doll for the 4th of July in style. Love swapping with you.
Comment: Shirley ~ thank you so very much for my gorgeous ⤠block! I love it! The fabrics are so awesome and my favorite is that adorable little guy looking right at me! Thank you! And thank you for joining in my swap! ⤠Kelly :)
Comment: Love the turtle! Here is a funny story about turtles. If you didn't know turtles always go back to the same place to lay their eggs. And my in laws just recently got some puppies (about 2 years ago) and they have become quit the hunters. There is a a turtle who has come to lay her eggs and drive the poor puppies crazy. Your dishcloth reminds me of the puppies chasing the turtle. Have a good day.
Comment: Thank you for the Boxer PC. I don't have a dog - three cats though, but I am around dogs everyday as I work at an animal shelter. Boxers (and Shih Tzus!) are popular dogs when they come in. Take care and have a great day!
Comment: Thank you Shirley! The outfit is adorable (I especially love the hat) and my daughter was thrilled to have something new to put on her doll, Ruth. Beautiful work! What kind of material did you use for the soles of the shoes?
Response: Soles are made from craft foam, found a package of various textures and colors. Hard to find black and white around here.
Comment: You definitely brought a huge smile. I love everything including the card you chose and note you wrote. I will definitely put the needles and notecard to good use and the postcard is a great one to add to my collection. Thanks so much!
Comment: Thank you. I LOVE the quilted note card because I am a big quilt fan. In fact I just completed a quilt that I had started in 1980. It had been tucked away in a drawer all of these years while my kids were growing up. It is a Dresden pattern in lavenders and blues with black accent
