Comment: HI Cherylann I received my ATC and I LOVED it. I adore anything with a pig on it and the little envelope you made is really nice. I wish I could draw but I can't even draw a square without a ruler. Hope we swap again sometime soon. Pat
Comment: Thank you for the pretty postcard and the original writing in the back! I am going to suggest to my boyfriend to maybe start doing this a bit more often so we get out of the house more xD thank you!
Comment: I have found myself away from practicing but due to lack of time (these two beasts who call themselves my children are a big time suck.)I have been looking for ways to integrate small practices into daily life.
Comment: Thanks for the fun review. I was a big Cathy Guisewite in the 80s and 90s. I found that the book has one copy on my book swapping group. I decided to go check out some of the books at the library and have a good laugh.
Comment: reat board. I love these mug ideas:) Here's a tip I found: the party paper cups have a light wax lining if you use those you don't need to spray or wash the cup - just throw away when done! I love the main meal ideas too!! Thanks.
Comment: Thank you for sharing :) the flashes of lightening that makes you laugh in awe does the exact opposite for me. I run to my bed and cower under my blanket. Few years back when i was doing my homework in my study room where the table is right in front of the window, with the windows open, a flash of lightning appeared before my very eyes. I'd say a good 10cm distance. Is there such a thing as phobia of lightning? Hehehe.
Comment: Thank you for showing us round your crafty area. Those Kallax units look like they can store so many goodies, I love it! I laughed at the box under your desk you said you sometimes use to put your feet up, I have a box under my desk that doubles as a foot stool too! >_<
Comment: This was also new to me. I had fun making my board and when I get a chance I am going to read up on this time period. I love learning about new things. I enjoyed looking at your board also. Thanks for sharing.
Comment: Enjoyed looking at the pins you had on your board. Pinned several of them to try at some point. I have some quilts I want to make this year, and your pins have given me some ideas about how to use the fabric I have on hand. Thanks!
Comment: Hi hi, no worries about not being to email. The "mode of transport" doesn't matter, i still get to see your february book log anyways :)
i see 2 vampire novels which i will definitely be putting on my to-be-read shelf (if they are available for Indonesia). But honestly, i am more curious about "The Outlander" as it seems to be your benchmark, some sort of a gauge for comparison.
Thank you for sharing :)
What can I say?????
First ofcourse: THANK YOU!!!
What a beautiful postcard you made me by sewing!!! I wish I could post an image here so everyone can see what a lovely item this is!! I also wish I could give you More than Just 1 heart!!
Comment: Thank you, Cherylann, for the zine. I need to get outdoors more, too, and I made a resolution to read at least 1 book/month . . . you are reading 104!!!!! Please tell me what 'Finish at least 5 UFO's' means!
Response: UFO = Unfinished objects and refers to the long list of things I've started but not finished like a hat I was knitting on a loom and stopped at half done.
Comment: Thank you for such a quick post of the answers to the questions for this swap. You are definitely an avid reader with 104 books as your goal! That's incredible!! I wish you the best on reaching your goal.
Comment: Love the envelope! You're so sweet! Thanks for everything. I am using the address stickers on my Christmas cards as I ran out... And I am such the chocoholic, that I really love the Hershey 's chocolate magnet!!Thanks!Happy Swapping and Happy Holidays too! Jen
Comment: Thank you so much for the Webs We Weave Minizine -- it really made me smile with the logic and warmth contained in your hexagonal web :) I loved the diagrams and drawings as well as the words, and I loved how it unfolded. Appreciate you participating and your contribution!
Comment: Thank you so much! I love how you created the envelopes, and I've already spritzed my address labels with so,e shimmery spray and they are the perfect size for postcard! Also the two little boxes of stickers are going into my youngest kids advent gifts and I know they will love them. Thank you so much, this was truly lovely!
Response: Perfect! And exactly what I had in mind plain labels that you can decorate to match you
Comment: Hi Cherylann, thank you so much for the swap, I really love your letter full of emotions. I hope that do you have a nice week and it was a pleasure being your partner (sorry for my bad english)
Have a nice week
Comment: I apologize for the late rating. I thought I rated already! In any case, I enjoyed the werewolf! I always think of An American Werewolf in London. I had fun watching that movie when I was younger!
Comment: Squirrels!!! So cute; thank you for the darling little flipbook full of wonderful squirrelness (that's a word, right?!). I loved your letter; so nice to read more about you. I really enjoy the chance to connect with others here on swap-bot. Hope you're enjoying Autumn; it's my favorite time of year, too!
Comment: thankyou for the lovely camelot piece!!! greetings in Ontario! it always brightens my day to see mail from canada. thank you for the kawaii/princess stickers! i squeaked when i saw them â¤ï¸
Comment: Thanks for the review and for following through with this swap. I don't blame you for not finishing the book. At least you gave it a try. I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to choose a political book. Politics is boring. Lol. If you'd like my review when I'm done let me know and I can send it to you after I send to my partner.
Comment: Thank you for all of the wonderful scavenger items! I can tell you put a lot of thought and work into these challenges and I really appreciate each one. I loved the fall guide, apple bird feeder recipe and your painting the most though! Well done!â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Comment: OMG I love it so wonderfully creative! I think all of the book style atc's I've received have been my very favorite cards of all time to get so far! Definitely loved this swap so will do it again in the future thank you so much for the amazing contrabution!
Comment: Thanks for the cute flip book you made for me! I love those colors! :)
And I like the goodies! We don`t have a lot of halloween crafting stuff here. So I apprechiate every single item in that theme!
And you don`t have to mind the multiple-flip-pages. I really think that they are the best part in a flip book... Sometimes I make too many flips and the book gets very bulky. :D
Thanks for your offer for private PL-exchanges, too! At the moment there are a lot of interesting swaps I am in. But I know that there will come other times - I will let you know when I have space for a private swap!
Comment: Hi! Thank you so much for this beautiful note-card. I swear, it has the same colors as leaves around, I need to take a picture and show it to you :) I also love mystery shows and books!
Comment: OMG I just got this swap yesterday. The letter you enclosed is dated June 20th. This swap took the long way around to get to me. Thank you for the letter, and two homemade recipe cards you sent. Thank-you so much.
Response: Nope I just forgot to change the date on my intro letter. Sorry about that.
Comment: Hello Cherylann! :D :D Thank you so much for the glittery flipbook you created! <3 I have received it many days ago, but was unable to rate you before today! I am on vacations and everything goes a little slow you see.... :) I will reply to you as soon as possible! :D Until then, I wish you a wonderful day! Greetings from Greece!!
Comment: You are so brace .. I've only had one swapper attempt drawing a face...good job! I liked that you drew it on a newspaper .. thanks as well for the papers especially the Christmas flower! Great swap
Comment: Thank you for the easter bunny card. I know what you mean about grandkids not visiting much. Mine are all grown but I do have a few Great-grandkids but 3 of them are in Kansas City about 60 miles away so I don't get to see them very often. One here in town isn't big enough to color yet but she probably will in another year or two.
Comment: Thank you for the Bear ATC. I knew there were several types but not exactly how many. I also liked the envelope you sent it in. I am going to keep it and maybe use the Pig on a skateboard for something I make.
Comment: Thank you for your letter and note. It is a pleasure to get to know you better. Hope you enjoyed looking after the house. Oh it is summer - I simply love this time of the year. All I can say is have a great July!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely notecard. I felt you really took the time to write about how you are that went beyond the normal basics. The extra adds of paper were a nice touch as well. Take care, Kathleen
Comment: Thanks for finding Disney stationery when it is not your thing! Cute envelopes! Enjoyed getting to know you in your long letter and note -- I am just not into pen pals. I do hope you find some great people to swap letters with. Happy Summertime!
Comment: Thank you so much for the mail you sent me. I like the card that says "You are Born to Sparkle". How awesome! I was reading your letter and it fells like a poem the way you describe Spring. We obviously have the same feelings about this beautiful season. Thanks for being a great partner. Sorry I took my time to rate. I was busy and did not want to rate for the sake of it, I wanted to enjoy the package since you took great care in doing it.
Comment: It was a nice peak into your life, thank you for sharing the train and other snippets :) I once saw a documentary about old churches being renovated to apartments, I would love to live in one! So I'm actually superjealous of your living arrangements :D
Comment: Wow, I read this for the April swap. I agree with you the book made me sad, I also wondered what happened to the one pig. You explained the book so much better than I did, LOL! Thank you for joining.
Comment: Thank you for my very first Flip Book! This is SO AWESOME! In a BEE theme!!! I LOVE it! The BeeZine is so clever! I love all the inspirational bee sayings too. This is a treasure. Thank you! Hugs <3
Response: It was my pleasure! Did you find the letter OK?
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! I agree, it's not ugly, but it's one of those cards that one might have a hard time finding a recipient for - so it easily becomes unwanted when you see it in your collections year after year! But I loved it, so now your unwanted card has a new home. :) Happy swapping!
Comment: Your swap arrived yesterday. Thank you. It met swap requirements, but I must say I am disappointed. I would recommend using a backing on your cardstock a sturdy backing like an empty cereal and cracker packaging work well. Perhaps branch out to other mediums that would better showcase your talent.
Comment: I loved looking through your board. Korea is a beautiful place, and I hope to visit there someday. Your other boards were interesting to look through too. Thank you for sharing. I hope you have a wonderful week.
Comment: This was a super board, thank you! I didn't know much about Korea, and I really enjoyed reading so much. I also pinned some to my own Food board because I love all kinds of Asian cuisine (although I have to confess Japanese is my favourite). Thank you!
Comment: I really enjoyed the work you did, especially the colors on the coaster and the way the fabric came out on the wreath. Your work inspires me to take on more of those types of projects. I am curious, were there "finishing" instructions for the sides of the coaster, or are they normally left looped that way? I like it! Thanks for your hard work!
Response: I haven't progressed to that part yet. I figure they make for easy hanging hooks though
Comment: I enjoyed getting to know you more through your answers, this was such a fun swap and I'm really sorry for the delay, there were technical difficulties and I thought it was rated weeks ago. I'm sorry !!
Comment: Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed giving this a listen :)
There's definately some nice classics on there! And Celtic Woman, wow what a beautiful talent!
Also to my surprise, this ZZ Top song was sent to me by 2 different users, out of the millions of songs in the world!
Comment: You just started and are already are working on so many things, that's great! Which are the books that you have already read in the first 12 days? I would love to see some of the things you want to design when they are done.
Comment: I just loved your puffy people stickers, and think these work well for this swap. Great work. I used rubber stamped images of human faces, which was what motivated me to start the swap, I had so many faces. Your stickers were a delight and will work well in future swaps.
Comment: Great survey answers - a lot of them were almost identical to mine. I, too, was born in St. Joseph's Hospital, but it was in Kokomo, Indiana! I'm sure my earring holes are closed over, and my last shopping was at the grocery! Thanks for sharing!
Comment: Wow! 200 books in a year...that's pretty ambitious! I wish you luck!!! :) Also, I SO didn't know the Guild was in book form. Several of these looked like JUST my style...can't wait to get reading now!
Comment: Happy New Year, Cheryl, and thank you for sharing your thoughtful responses to this survey (I usually complete it but as a private blog post, so I liked the idea of sharing my answers this time :) I love that Aragog/Chamber of Secrets diorama -- takes me back to school when we had to do them -- and I hope this year is full of new adventures and many coffee dates with friends!
Comment: I never got anything but I didn't get anything from anyone else, either so I am being fair and giving my partners 5 stars. There was a problem with this swap from all angles! Not your fault, I'm sure!
Comment: Greetings from Illinois,
What a clever idea this is! I wished I'd have known abut it when my boys were younger. They are just a hoot, and I did repin a few of yours to my own board. I just loved the barbies in the bubbles & elf recording them. These elves are only limited by one's ability & creativity!
Thank you for sharing.
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New year of swapping,
Comment: You may feel like there was something missing in your ATCs, but I quite liked them. Art is very much in the eye of the beholder that way, and can never be WRONG. These were lovely, and thank you for the ribbon, too. :)
Comment: Eye like the envelope very much-how you thought of soo many different eyes to draw! The stuff inside envelope is fodder for my junk journals-thanks. and of course I appreciate a canadian Christmas stamp! Thanks for sharing!
Comment: I loved reading your "email" via blog. I don't mind you going that route at all. I also love allrecipes.com and Netlfix. I enjoyed scrolling through your art on your flickr account. I sent you a facebook friend request and I would love for you to accept. Have a great week!
Comment: I really enjoyed the board you sent me and have pinned the pumpkin muffin recipe to try next year. I live in UK, we can't get tinned pumpkin in our supermarkets and I've just missed the boat on buying a pumpkin to try this out, but I look forward to it.
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful images! What is that one called, the one that You once had? It is a piece of art in itself, whether played or not! i did not know of drum circles before! I wish there was one near me! :)
Response: Mine was a lot plainer than the one I selected but it was hand-made. It was a hand drum like the shamans use
Comment: Thanks for telling me about your name. I was never called that, but growing up I spent as much time outdoors as my mother and the weather would allow, so I can see what you were probably like! Nice to "meet" you, Wildchild! Happy swapping!
Comment: I found one of the tutorials really interesting. I can never get those pesky corners perfect. I am intrigued by crazy quilting too but I'm not sure I have the patience for it. Allie Aller is one of the superstars of crazy quilting. You can check out her blog at: http://alliesinstitches.blogspot.com/
Comment: Thanks for the photocopied atcs and the wallet card Cherylann :-)
Response: I am not sure what you mean by photocopied ATC's I created them on my computer and printed them out but sadly my printer does not do colour but I am glad you liked the wallet card that was the main gift :)
Comment: Hi Cheryl, thanks so much for the lovely notecard and extras. I especially like the virtual hug. I know about Peterborough, my parents lived there for a little bit :) Hope you have a lovely day!
Comment: Thank you for the neatly typed note card you sent. I use to type in my correspondence with my typewriter/word processor decades ago. I wish you a wonderful BIRTHDAY approaching. I once visited lovely Peterborough and went on a boat viewing the lock system there. I was in a singles group that was expensive. When I realized many members went to a bar after the boat ride, I declined and spent bowling alone, though I love to bowl. Maybe next time it will be more sociable.
Comment: Great postcard. I like the Star Trek movies also--Star Trek IV the voyage home is my favorite, but I like the new ones. I wish there were more musicals being made. I also like sci fi from the 50s.
Comment: Hi Cheryl! Thank you so much for your beautiful postcard. It almost looks as if it were hand drawn, was it? Either way, very cool. I definitely love getting mail in my mailbox, thank you for brightening my day!
Comment: I had a good chuckle at this "I hope you like your music with a little or maybe a lot of Nostalgia"
Thanks for sharing your playlist, a lot of familiar songs on there, I grew up with my folks listening to most of them! :)
