Comment: I’m am so sorry for such a late rating 😢 I misplaced the envelope and finally found it (so embarrassed)...
I’m waiting until Christmas to open it.
I am truly sorry that the error was on my end and that you had to wait and worry...
You deserve a million hearts for your patience with me! ❤️💕🌸💕❤️
Comment: Valerie!! What beautiful, beautiful pictures!! And making them into postcards, what a fantastic idea. The kitty is ADORABLE, the way he's backlit is purrrrfect. lol Capturing that lizard..wow...that is a FIND! And my fav is the petroglyph - I WOULD so love to see that in person! Thank you for sharing these with me, you made my day! :) Thank you for joining, and great swap!
Comment: Hello Valerie,
Thank you for the 2 postcards that begin with the letter "R" that you sent me in an envelope. I really love both of them. I will add them to my box to save for my personal Postcard Collection. I hope you have a great visit to Albuquerque when you come to the Luke Bryan Concert. Have you been up to Albuquerque from Alamogordo before? I would love to meet you but I will be gone during that time for a family event. Maybe we can meet if you come up again. Enjoy the concert!
Response: We go to ALBQ a few times a year. I'll let you know...
Comment: Hi Valerie! Thanks for the lovely bear card and the great photos! The horse is very pretty and I am always amazed at how long tortoises can live & how big they get! Thanks for the fun share! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the Cat themed ATC, I love cats! Just FYI - you may want to add sturdier backings to your ATC's, like chipboard or cut up cereal boxes. It makes them less flimsy. A lot of ATC swappers don't like them to be able to bend into a 'U' shape.
Comment: Val....oh how I wish I could give you more than one heart!!! You so nailed this package...each thing I opened made me smile and last but not least was the dragonfly magnet and I pressed it close to my heart and I will treasure it!!! The blessing that is worded on it speaks to me!! Thank you for this awesome swap idea and for these amazing RAK items you chose just for me....LOVE them ALL...Valentine hugs...Charlene

Am so excited over the snowball you told me to open now. I threw it and it lights up. So perfect! I am just thrilled. You did well, my friend. Have a great 2018 Thank-you, Thank-you.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card. Reminds me of my childhood home in Minnesota with the wooded hills. Iowa is mostly flat. Loved seeing pictures of your kitties. Reno looks very much like my PUFF. Only he has a little orange on his nose too. Thanks again.
Comment: Thank you for the sparkly cardinals -- I can looks out my front window and see that very scene lol. And I love your little armadillo sticker. I used to live in Florida and would see them on occasion -- they are the coolest critters. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas! <3<3<3
Comment: Thanks, Val. He is a cutie, though I hate to see him behind bars. Hate to see anything behind bars actually. Thanks too for the great stamps on your envie. Love your armadillo address sticker!
Comment: Thanks although I do not approve of antique cars being painted colors that they never were originally. BTW since both you and Sara Quincey asked about zazzle cards for my domestic cat swap I'll make my next cat swap zazzle-friendly next time. Rich

Comment: Valarie, thank you for the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse postcard. I have had occasion to go to Maine quite a few times when I lived in Massachusetts. It is quite a beautiful state along the coastline with all the rugged terrain which make for a lot of lighthouses. I have had not the occasion to visit this lighthouse though. Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the spiffy vintage baseball player Mickey card and for sharing your favorite Disney memories, Val! I also love Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion; as an adult, I was surprised at how quickly the latter one passes and that it's less scary and more fascinating :) The image reminded me of how interesting (if also a little scary at first) the YouTube videos chronicling the character design of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Pluto through the decades are. Happy Tuesday!
Comment: I love this postcard! I have 2 cockatiels and Quaker parrot, but the Quaker is MUCH smaller! I've always thought Macaws were so beautiful! Toucans are really pretty too 🙂..does the one at the store near you talk or do tricks? Thank you for the bird pc!
Comment: This was my husbands favorite animal. He used to watch the Discovery channel and their Lemur program all the time. Wasn't there one in the Lion King? Anyway, thanks a bunch.....it made me smile.
Comment: Thank you for this Nancy Drew postcard, Val! I'm sure I must have read at least some of the Nancy Drew books when I was young, but I sadly have no memories of doing so. I love seeing cover PCs, though, and this one for "T" - The Sign of the Twisted Candles - sounds fun! :-) Thank you for sharing!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful vintage postcard. I've visited the natural history museum in New York often and have probably seen this diorama. Footnote: Francis Lee Jaques, the artist who painted the backgrounds, is from Minnesota and first painted backgrounds for our local Bell Museum.
Comment: Thank you for this S is for Santa Fe postcard, Valerie! I find this image fascinating! It's so green! (Or at least, so tree-filled!) Forests and rolling green hills are not what I think of when I think of New Mexico! :-) Thank you so much for sharing!

Comment: Gah! I'm so sorry for the late rate Val. I was just sorting though my postcards and realized I had forgotten to rate this swap. (Hangs head in shame) I really appreciate that the card you sent was a Valentine post card and that you shared pictures of your beautiful fuzzy beasties, may Sparky rest in peace. Your Reno on the postage stamp looks like my beloved Nacho who passed over 12 years ago. Yours is one of my favorite postcards in my collection.
Comment: Val....WOWZA...you nailed it!! This is so waaaaaaaaaaaay COOL for my bird condominium....I have never seen anything like it. You made this swap so very special...I had not joined a TF swap in a very long time and your selection based on my likes means so much..THANK YOU and happy summer (stay cool friend!) Hugs, Charlene
Comment: Val, thank you for the beautiful postcard of New Mexico with an air balloon. I have never been in one. I got to the airfield all set to go and it was windy and they wouldn't take it up. After that I chickened out and never went up. Shirley
Comment: Val, thank you so much for the wonderful postcard of the Marshall Point Lighthouse. I didn't realize it even existed. New postcard for me. I would love to see the picture you took of the lighthouse near San Diego. Shirley
Comment: Wow, its so heavy. Thanks for understanding I could not rate until I came back home (arrived last night). I had to place this gift back into the box and put it next to my stocking. Thank you so very much! Eagerly awaiting December,
Comment: Oh Val! Thank you so much for the penguin postcard! I love it! I would love to go to Sea World! We have an aquarium on the Oregon Coast that I've been to a few times. My daughter is actually having her wedding reception there in September! I can't wait! Browncoats Unite!
Comment: Val, what can I say? I just loved what you sent. The shell necklace is just gorgeous and so unique. And what an "a" gift. I couldn't stop smiling just seen that Jeff Gordon ornament. I just love it to bits. It will be put on one of my smaller trees as it would definitely get lost in the big one and I don't want that to happen. Shirley
Comment: What a fun swap! I can't wait to find the perfect place for the adorable owl sticker! And the magnet is already doing work holding up the postcard on the fridge! Thanks for sending such great owl treasures!
Comment: Hi Valerie. Thank you for the orange clown ATC. That's so sweet of you to specially design it according to my likes. Ha! I love it! I like the stamps you used on your envelope too. I'll save those!
Comment: Thank you for this "cool" pc, Val! I love it! And that's so neat that your postage stamp features one of your own cats. I'll have to look into getting some stamps that have my Max on them. :-) As far as your "hope you're staying 'cool' " comment goes, our air conditioning is now coming on daily, so "spring" is definitely in the air here! How is it where you are? :-) Thank you for sharing!
Response: Hot here too....glad we have central air.
Comment: Thank you for cute the ATC---what a nice tribute to furbabies. I really like the photo on the note card, too. (To answer your question,
I live about 40 min. south and a little west of Fond du Lac.)
Comment: Ahhh, I love this card, your choice of postage, adorable address label, and your sweet message so much, Valerie :) It was fitting that I enjoyed reading your card on the porch as my little Uling napped among the succulents ♥ I love that you are also a black/tuxedo cat lover! Hugs to you and your furbabies!
Comment: Thank you for the Taos Pueblo postcard. The horses in the snow is beautiful. (Sorry about the late rating. I found a stack of mail that was covered up by another stack of stuff.) Happy swapping!

Comment: Thank you for the lovely sparkly Christmas Card! I was so happy to see all the glitter! I Love It!!! Thank you as well for the beautiful orange ATC backs! Can't wait to use them!!! And Firefly is so Shiny!!! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the view of El Santuario de Chimayo, Valerie -- I had not known about it previously -- and the adorable lizard postage :) I just watched the Nickeloden Legends of the Hidden Temple movie, which a fitting tribute to the 1993-95 game show that combined history, folklore, physical tests, and host Kirk Fogg's hilariously passive-aggressive commentary and which was one of my most favorite shows as a kid; the team mascots were featured in real-life, if colorized and likely computer-generated form, including an Orange Iguana :) Hope you are having a good weekend!
Comment: Thank you so much for the stocking stuffer! I will save it for Christmas but I couldn't help squeezing it a little bit :-). I love your note paper with your pics along the side! Happy Holidays to you!
Comment: Love the land of enchantment ...we had same title on our atc's for this swap.. Thanks for the ice array of postage stamps and for the great atc...I we coul have some snow here to make a snowman!
Comment: Thank you ever so much for this Nancy Drew book-cover postcard, Val! Love it! I too enjoyed the Nancy Drew Mysteries when I was young. I just wish I could better remember reading them! :-) Thank you for sharing!
Response: I think that's why I've always loved mysteries. I've picked up a few of the old ones at thrift shops.
Comment: It is indeed a very small world. I lived in Alamogordo for 14 years. Well I lived in La Luz Canyon and then in Boles Acres but I love the area. I miss the sky over the Tularosa Basin and the thunderstorms. I miss the way the desert smells after a rain. I DO NOT miss the dust storms in the spring and fall with the white dust all over everything. Anyway, pretty pictures and thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Comment: Valarie, thank you for the beautiful winter postcard. I thought it never snowed in New Mexico. Shirley
I could barely make out the lizard in the stamp, but I saw it through all the postal black lines. Neat
Comment: These photos are fantastic! Thank you so much! So fun to hear from a fellow cheesehead and geocacher! You have many more finds than I have; good for you! Sorry about your brother. I know how hard that is to lose a sibling. Thanks for everything - pics are great!
Comment: Thank you for the amazing train postcard! It is beautiful! Hope you get to ride it someday! We took the train from ABQ to Santa Fe this summer as part of our vacation. Our kids loved it! I didn't know you could make your own stamps on zazzle! Oh the world you have opened up to me with your awesome lizard stamp! Thank you! Happy Geocaching to you! :)
Comment: Thank you for sharing such a neat postcard, Val. I don't think I've ever been to Taos Pueblo. It's amazing to know that it has been inhabited continuously for 1,000+ years! Thank you for sharing! :-)
Comment: Thanks for the stocking stuffer! I am excited about it but still waiting until Christmas :)
PS - still not as large as the stocking stuffer I sent you! ;) REV: What a great mug!! Thank you soooo much!!
Comment: Thank you for the letter! Speaking of Star Trek and stamps... I just picked up the anniversary set today while I was at the post office... so cool! And I agree... how can anyone not love kittens?? <3
Comment: Thank you for the postcard and the quote. Very good words to live by...to work hard to make your dreams come true. I also enjoy the picture of your cat Sparky. I know it can be hard to lose a four legged family member. What a great way to celebrate his life. I have a 15 year old cat myself named Bobbie...she is a very big part of our family.
Comment: Thank you for the postcards, they were cute. One little tip: it would be good for you to include your Swap-Bot user name with your items instead of just your real name so that way you can make sure you're rated properly (especially because this group swap had 2 with the same name - just one was USA and one was Global). Happy swapping!
Comment: Thanks for the great PC. Seeing Carlsbad brought back so many memories. I grew up in Southern California and went there a few times every year I was growing up. My dad loved the place. I never realized it wasn't in California. Silly me.
Comment: I'm sorry about your kitty. I don't know if you know, but the cats stamp you used is a design originally by a well loved designer of quilt fabric. I have some of her cat fabric even though she, I'm say to say, died about three years ago.
Response: Interesting info...makes it even more special...

Comment: Thank you! Don't know what it is, and it's a little too big to fit into my stocking, but I'm thrilled with the Eeyore plush head keychain! It's something I didn't have already and is going straight into my display case! Thank you! Edit: Thank you for the blank notecards! Happy holidays!

Comment: What a cute envelope! I love all the different cats and the note cards are lovely. The Cape Henry Light is extra special to me, as I've been there a few time when I lived in Virginia Beach. I truly appreciate all the time and thought you put into this swap. Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the stickers, tucking away the gift to open in December. You are the first person I've heard with a cat named Shiloh. So fun! Lots of dogs and horse, but this is the first cat, I've been told about. It's a great name :)
Comment: Cute kitties! I just retired from the public library and am now volunteering at the animal shelter. Hope your holidays were happy--we just got our first snowfall of the year--10 inches.
Comment: Let me guess, you love armadillos?! :) Fun envie! Thank you for the wonderful inside goodies (stickers, vintage postage, flower & cat stickers, a flower notecard, biblical verse postcards, & owl washi tape) - what more could a gal ask for? Happy New Year!
Comment: Hi! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Your cache was so much fun to receive and I really appreciate the extra stickers :) I tried to rate the other day but my computer's battery ran out mid-stream. Good grief! Sorry for the delay. Now that I'm back from holiday visiting I hope to hide it this week at a local lake - I'll let you know!

Comment: Hi Valerie! Thanks so much for the stocking stuffers! I am saving everything to open at Christmas, but these look great, and I can't wait to open them! Hope you have a great upcoming holiday season!
Comment: Thanks for the multi-view of Boise --- I've never been there. . . have you? Although I know it's a 'big city' by Idaho standards, the pictures remind me more a small town. I do love the old buildings and I'm sure it's a beautiful place to live -- wide open sky!! Thanks again for the great multi-view. . . and happy swapping ~~
Response: I haven't been there either...glad you like it.
Comment: Best NM cards I've received from a Swap-bot partner - thanks very much, Valerie! Great NM card you had made too - sorry the post office nabbed you for almost double what regular postage would have been, but I love the roadrunner on the card. thanks again, Carol in Denver
Comment: I love it! The Halloween theme was perfect, the candy corn brad was a great touch and I really appreciated the fortune you added. I'd had a really stressed out week so it was especially lovely to get such happy mail from you. So sorry it took so long to rate but I really adore it! :)
Comment: ♥♥♥♥♥ There! That feels better. One heart is just not enough!
What a fabulously bright, interesting and profile based pocket letter. It is now my number one favourite, knocking my Dr Seuss one down to number two!
Oh and the extras --- F U N !!! I still haven't cracked the 9 piece puzzle yet, but I sure have fun trying to. LOVE everything you sent and felt very spoilt!
Response: Yay!!!! I love it when a plan comes together and the post office gets it there....
Comment: Yowza, I spotted my very first 14!!! Woo Hoo! Thanks for that. Should I open the envelope now or save it to open with the little wrapped package on Christmas?
Just spotted the 14 on the inner envelope. Thanks!!
Comment: Never a worry about age of postcard when it shows horses! Thank you for the horses postcard & the horse racing postage stamps. Amazing you were able to match them on the card! Yes, Alamogordo, NM is a racehorse center. To the north of Clermont, Ocala, FL has grown & become the huge horse center of my state, even bigger than Miami, Wellington, etc. Hope to go visit & see Ocala some day, especially the horses. Happy Summer!
Comment: Thank you for the picture letter Valerie. I was wishing I knew more about them all. I adore the cat picture =o)
Response: The left nest was at a geocache location...the waterfalls is bridal falls, the tulips were in Oshkosh at the art museum, the horse and buffalo were taken near Roswell, the cat is my cat Diana, those are the Organ Mountains near Las Cruces, the cactus flower was on a back road geocaching and the turtle was at our zoo....
Comment: Fun! Fun! Fun! You are sooo creative, I loved the green Alien, who would have thought. I found things hours later, under, in between and around.....you filled the pockets. I truly enjoyed. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the two cards you sent. The wildcat prints remind me that we had/have a bobcat in our neighborhood recently but thank goodness I have not seen him in my yard. Over the years we have had mountain lions, fox, coyotes, and even a baby bear in our neighborhood.

Gotta love a person who can love an armadillo. (smile) I liked that cat basket, if I saw one around here I'd sure pick it up. And who doesn't love Garfield?! Comment: Hi Val, long time no see! I love museums & cards from same... would really like to see the V&A in London. Comment: Wow! This ATC is awesome! I love how everything goes together and actually looks like it belong ( rather than finding random stuff and sticking it on a card). I'm so happy to have this in my collection. Thank you!
Comment: Contrary to popular belief, I am not as old as the Grand Canyon. LOL I did finally visit that wonderful national park a few years ago for the first time. Breathtaking! Thank you for choosing it and the great stamps.
Comment: I could go for a piece of that cake too (though if I had to choose, I'd take the puppy first) - thanks for such an adorable card! :oP No snow here that's lasted, but it'll be here soon enough. I love when it's all sparkly in the moonlight. :o)
Comment: Awesome! & Awesome ~ Valerie!! Your first love I would love to see, it looks gorgeous! Second, completely out of the question as in EVER trying it! But I will say they are beautiful to look at! Thank you so much!!
Comment: Hi Valerie, I love this card, the cat looks like one eye is yellow and one is green! I couldn't find a card with a real cat for my partners. I love real cat cards! :) Thanks so much and Happy Meowy Halloween to you also!
Comment: I wish there were a way to tweak the system and give you 1000 hearts, a lifetime of hugs, hundreds of smiles and a few dozen rainbows. And cupcakes with sprinkles. This was such a FANTASTIC package! I can't thank you enough for finding a gorgeous jadeite cup for me. I love the magnet and the cute little spaniel too! Thank you so so much again for the package as well as for being such a wonderful swapper.
Comment: Wow! You give some really great swag, Valerie. Thank you so much!
I like all of the stuff you sent, and I especially love the Roswell card, That will be the highlight of my Museum collection! No one's getting that!
I love the two notecards too, and will be looking for an occasion to send them to a couple of my friends who are gaga about cats.
I even love the stickers! I hardly ever use them but I will use these... esp.the desert themed ones. Except I'm not parting with the road runner!
Thanks again, really enjoyed your packet of goodies.
Comment: Hi... I just got your wonderful atc. What a great collage to illustrate the purple. I have been working on a real scrapbook... meaning all the scraps from atcs, envelopes with cute things.. note cards ,stamps etc.. have been going into this neat book lately ( years of swapbot mail scrap) with a few special atcs that just work... and tonight your purple card finished off a page just perfectly! even your nice note card found a home. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with me.. I so love seeing everyones art!

Comment: Thanks so much for the Anheuser-Busch Clydesdale foal - I love it! :oP
Back in the 70's, when I lived in New Hampshire, I visited the A-B brewery and stables in Merrimac (NH). I've never seen such an immaculate stable, before or since - I swear you could have eaten off the stable floor! I used to see a lot of them at our state fair too (all horses had name tags on their stalls there also), and I used to see a lot of them at the horse pulls in NH & MA. Wonderful, sweet-natured horses!
Comment: Wow, did you make our day today!! I love the swan items and the sheep pin...and there were five little books for five girls!! They sat right down with those books immediately after getting them! The one book of Tasha Tudor's I had been wishing to find, as we had a very used and worn out copy!! I was so happy to see it! ♥♥♥
Comment: Thank you for the great C-A-T swap. My boys will love the treats-it's one of their faves. The charms are adorable.. I may use them in a bracelet or anklet. I can always use seam binding cause I also use it in crafts! (=^.^=)

Comment: Hi Val! Love the assortment of cards you sent. The rabbit is indeed funny-looking! My fav is the Route 66 car. Neat. I also just love the Toulouse-Lautrec card. Until a few years ago I always thought his first name was Toulouse and his last name Lautrec...haha...instead that's his whole last name! Thanks for including the challenge card--it's vintage, too--hooray! Great assortment. Thanks for joining my swap; hope to see you in future PC Scavenger Hunts.

Comment: Thank you for the beautiful cards. I would love to go to the balloon festival sometime. I've been up in one once, but it stayed tethered, at a family reunion. Even that little bit was pretty amazing. White Sands looks spectacular. You never go wrong in sending me a lighthouse card, I LOVE the lighthouses. Well done.
Comment: Thank you for the great card! It's nice to get one from White Sands. I love going to the Balloon Fiesta, too. We go several times every year. It's so much fun when you can take friends for the first time, too.

Comment: Valerie ~ What wonderful PCs for this swap - thank you so much! I love NM and have been to a couple ghost towns there. . . and I love the Story Teller dolls, so interesting. Thanks again for the great PCs and hope to 'see' you again in a swap ~~
Comment: Loved the PC of your adopted cat, Xena! She looks quite comfortable in the picture. We, too, adopted a stray cat about a year ago. The shelter said she was already spayed when two older ladies brought her in. They had found her as stray. It's hard not knowing their pasts. Ours in a gentle cat, and only 7 lbs. She's 6yrs. old. In any case, thanks again for showing me your cat!
Comment: Oh Val!! I just LOVE the postcard you sent to me for this swap. Thanks so much. That must have been really cool to see one fly right over you like that. I'm sure my jaw would have dropped in amazement...how cool that sounds! Wishing you good health this year as well. Thanks again, Happy New Year and Happy Swapping. Hope we get to swap again some time. Carol :)
Comment: Hi Valerie, thanks for the old time-looking card of the snowy river banks. Looks like a cold perch for those two birds. We've only had one brief snow so far, but it was enough to give us chances to slip around a big. Have a great winter, Cynthia
Comment: I'm sorry, I just realized that I hadn't yet thanked you for the happy snow families with forest-y friends and bright stars and the snowy owl stamp! Thanks so mych for the retro card! Sheboygan's a special town. They just saved the Badger Ferry from being cut again. Aluminum trees, ships, and a natural foods coop. What a place!
Comment: What a greattttt package! Thank you for all the wonderful, profile inspired thrift store finds! I love every bit of it! Everything was packaged so securely for the trek across the USA ! Thanks so much!!
Comment: Hi Valerie, I think our swaps are passing in the mail as I just sent you one. Thanks so much for the ATC and the sequin waste. So appreciated since I can't get it here.

Comment: Valerie: Got the gorgeous kitty note cards in the mail last night. I just love them. Thank you SO much! Also - I love your "Swap" cards you've had made up with all your info on them. They look really nice. Hugs, Susan ;-)
Also - thanks for hosting this swap. Hope to see you do it again in the future.
Comment: I love the ATC, thank you so much for creating it for me!! It was so thoughtful of you to read my profile and include the Geocache magnet! You are the first person I know that even knew what it was :) Where on earth do you get all your pretty tapes? I've looked everywhere around here. Thanks again so much, you deserve lots of hearts for this one! <3 <3 <3 <3
Comment: Thanks for the card. We have spent time in NM and have even been to Alamagordo (love the zoo) and to Albuquerque (used to have friends there) and Santa Fe, but have never been to any of the ghost towns. Maybe someday! Happy swapping!
Comment: Excellent swap. Like the magnet from the fun run--we had a topless tour (convertible) and a sports car run. I have a 79 Fiat spider tho in the topless run we'd have cars from the 30s. The sports car run we'd have a chance for a lap around Road America. Thanks! Small world.
Susan (brooklyn bunch)
Comment: Great cards, Val! I have two long time snail mail friends in New Mexico, and keep hoping to do a trip there one year, so I really like those cards. Love the sepia, and the v.cute mom & baby rhino!
Comment: Thanks for the cards, but please do take note of the swap requirements in future. I do love cats, but the swap called for storebought blank postcards. The card with your cat is neither storebought, nor blank.
Comment: Thank you for the penny of 'Ham". I do not know much about New Mexico so the brochure will be good to read. The area that you live in looks like a very interesting place. The longer that I am on Swap-bot the more places I discover that I NEED to visit. Alamogordo is now on my list.
Comment: Ooops, sorry Valerie. I put a comment on your bio page, and then when you sorted it out for me I forgot to put the rating here. Yes, hearts & flowers from me and Sam Dustball! We loved your card.
Comment: Hi Val, Thank you for great recipe postcard and the extra recipes. I am going to make the Patriotic Dump Cake. If it turns out well will make a postcard of it. Not seen this recipe before. Enjoy the day! Demaris
Comment: Thank you for your lovely postcard of the Beagle. To me they seem a proud noble dog with how they sit.
PS. I went through NM 3months ago with my husband. I was alot greener than I expected but it was winter there then. I also love the name of your street - I hope you have plenty of them in your street.
Comment: Great card, Valerie. That's some spooky looking aircraft. They have a flight demonstration on the Wikipedia site... it looks so clunky on the ground, but as soon as it's airborne it's definitely a bird!
Great postage stamps too!
